So today I was bored af and honestly tired of not having a place to lift cause gyms too expensive, so I went into my garage to try and do something productive and I settled on making a "proper" bench.
I have never been to a gym but seen some pics online so I threw this together.

The hollow aluminium bar withstood 26 kilos before snapping in half and for anyone wondering the tyres are 5kg each and I filled up 1.5L water bottles with sand and those weighed 2kg.

Guess I'll just get back to cardio and cali.... fuck my life

I've gone to Physical Therapy, an orthopedic surgeon, just about everything.

A woman who died of altitude sickness while climbing Mount Everest took on the challenge to prove that 'vegans can do anything'.

Maria Strydom died on Saturday afternoon after having to turn back from the final leg of the expedition because she felt unwell.

She returned to Camp 4, the last camp before the mountain's summit, on Friday where she spent the night but died from lack of oxygen the following day.

The 34-year-old South African national taught at Monash University in Melbourne and was an experienced climber.

Her husband Robert Gropel is injured but, according to trip organisers, '100 per cent safe'.

Weeks before her death Dr Strydom told how she and her husband wanted to dispel the belief that vegans were 'weak' or 'malnourished' by taking on the climb.

'It seems that people have this warped idea of vegans being malnourished and weak.

It's all right. I'd probably do the lower body exercise before the back exercise, as the low back quickly becomes the weak link when squatting or deadlifting, but not so much when rowing.

I think I like the original GSLP better though. There are also a bunch of cool variations form the author himself in the book, if you can get your hands on it.

Outstanding program all in all. More effective than Starting Strength, theoretically at least, although it does sacrifice a bit of simplicity to accomplish that.

My biggest problem right now is I suffer from strong anxiety around people because I don't feel manly in the least.

I'm 22, but weighing 120lbs and having a small face makes me look like a 14 years old who hasn't gone through puberty yet.

Is there anything, and I mean ANYTHING to age myself? I just want to look more masculine and older.

Is fruit actually good for you? I eat a ton of strawberries and blueberries, but I feel like the sugar content is probably about as bad as drinking a soda. Is there such a thing as good sugars?

The sugar in fruit is better, because it is not a "free sugar"
It is encased in fiber, which essentially negates all the detriment of sugar intake.

It just counts towards your daily carbohydrates intake, so as long as it doesnt affect your macros, it is fine.

Fruit juices, however, do count as free sugars, unless you were to mix psyllium husk or something similar in, to make it gooey.

Even then you are allowed to eat a good 75g of free sugars a day wi little to no consequence.

Also please recognize that "sucrose" is basically 50% fructose and glucose, so it isnt different than either.

Sugar is sugar, the only factor that matters is glycemic load, which is determined by bioavailability, which is generally determined by fiber content

Holy shit /fit/, I just started a German volume training regimen and started with DB deadlifts, 10x10 heavy and 10x10 light, and 4 days later I am sooooooo done with the doms.
First, erector spinae we so sore and infested with inflammation that I couldn't flex at the hips at all. Then after 3 days of dealing with that it has finally healed and now it feels as though my hamstrings are going to go through the same process

So now for the point of this thread, I understand that doms can be accelerated/diminished/avoided with inflammatory enzymes, does anybody shelter any information on this subject?
If not, got any general doms treatment tips?

Well I'm not exactly inexperienced when it comes to volume, for my first year of exercise I was going for athletic conditioning, (typically 20x3) then the next year I was strength training (typically 8-10x5 x3 exercises per group x2 per group per week), so I felt the transition to GVT wouldn't be very tough, but shit, I guess I was wrong.
