Hi, I wanted to start a small training program in order to get some muscle and I was thinking on doing 200 push ups and 300 sit-ups a day for 2 months. I am 5'7 and 136 lbs. Is it worth? Will I achieve great results?
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>42768939

No. You're better off going to a gym. You also need to eat a lot of protein for your muscles to grow. You can get stronger without lots of protein, but you won't get much bigger.
>>
>>42768939
push ups wont hurt but sit ups are a meme. dont expect looking like zyzz doing that. if you want le abs look to lower your bodyfat%

Comparative to being a sedentary fuck like you are, yes. Objectively, no

Does anyone take erectile dysfunction medications like Viagra or Cialis? Can you answer a few questions for me if you do:

1) I am 34, but I'm starting to have trouble getting it up with more frequency lately. Is this a normal age for this to start to happen?

2) When you take the pill, does it just give you an erection for the entire duration of the medication, or does it make it easier to get one when you need it (not hard for the whole time)?

3) Any side effects? Is it healthy to take every day?

4) Has it changed your sex life for the better, or not really?

5) How much does it cost?

Thanks!

i take 5mg cialis everyday for the health benefits and for the pre workout benefits and levitra once in a while when I feel like fucking the shit out of some little hoe for a few hours.

1. everyones different
2. No, all these drugs do is lower your blood pressure making it easier to get hardons you still need sexual stimulation
3. viagra has the most side effects, mainly headache and stuffy nose. very rarely some guys lose vision for a little while but it comes back dont take if your on other blood pressure lowering supplements or meds or you could die
4.I dont really need it but when I need some girl to think im the shit it makes life easier lmao ( frat lyfe)
5. I buy stuff off the deep web, extremely cheap. (like $50 for a years supply of cialis and less than $1 a pill for viagra / levitra, all name brand pharmacy stuff)

good luck

if you have good insurance honestly just see your doctor and ask for it, these drugs are pretty fucking safe.

Can music and fitness complement each other?

For example, practicing guitar, specially with steel strings, can be pretty taxing on the fingers/wrist. Would that develop them overtime, provided you're growing?

Daily reminder whether or not you should squat and deadlift is determined by GENETICS.

> Bret: [...]you know that you can build up the body to be very strong. The muscles and as long as you hold good position and your training parameters are proper, your frequency, volumes, postures, load, all these things, you can build your body up to withstand that.

>Stu McGill: Some people can’t.

>Bret: Well that’s what I would like to talk about. Okay, I’m gonna veer off. You mentioned genetics as it pertains to the spine. Talk for a second about ovoid and the limacon disc shapes.

>Stu McGill: [...]we can have a variety of disc shapes. We inherit that from our parents. If you take a slice through your low back, you will look down and bird’s eye view and see the shape of your disc. Some are oval. If you twist an oval disc (an oval disc likes to twist). The great golfers, not all, tend to have ovoid shaped discs simply because of survival of the fittest. If you can’t swing a club very well and you can’t twist, then you’re going to choose another sport besides golf. People with these slender, oval discs tend to become golfers. Those types of spines can twist. Now, if you take the typical middle linebacker from NFL, they don’t have oval discs. By definition to survive in that sport, they have to take a lot of compression and they have much bigger, thicker, much bigger radius discs. But they’re shaped like a lima bean when you look down on them. they are big and indent at the back where the spinal canal is. When you get a thin branch and bend it, it will bend. There’s not much stress. But if you take a thick branch and bend it, it breaks. That’s what happens with very thick discs that tend to be limacon shaped. The hydraulic stresses that come from bending in big heavy spines get focused to the back of the curve of the limacon and these kinds of people end up with posterolateral disc bulges if they bend too much.

thanks OP. now I have a really clear idea if I should not squat or deadlift for the rest of my life - and what exercises or variations I should do instead. very useful.

Is it possible to look absolutely not hugely muscular and able to lift very heavy weights. Like I wanna just look like really normal and be able to lift very heavy weights.

For example : At the least I must able to lift the front side of a Toyota Corolla.

Is this possible to attain?

Yeah if you're a big guy 6"6+ and really heavy everyone will think you are just fat even if strong. At least that's what most normies think of strong men even though they have more muscle than prime Arnold

Just got my testosterone levels back.
Not exact values, just generally where my test leaves stand.

>free test is in the lower third of normal range
>total test in the 10th percentile

Because it's "normal", can't get treatment for it.
Doctor suggested come back in a month and retest.

Is my only option to buy test illegally and pin?

can anything compete with a standing overhead press?

>most muscle activation
>best test of strength
>most rewarding progress

and I'm not talking about the pussyfied rack version, but the one in which you deadlift the weight, clean it and then do the presses.

Personally a fan of the full depth front Squat on all 3 metrics.

I personally find I can lift more overhead when I powerclean it first, as I get way more upper back and core tightness from the catch and rack than I could by hyping myself up in a rack

I've read this here a few times but never seen any sort of explanation. Your post has made me want to try it tomorrow.
