Can someone explain to me why Portland is absolute garbage?
Full of a bunch of SJW libtard snowflakes, who don't know how the real world works.

Oh the irony!
Alright /ck/, what's the best recipe for the best cake in existence?
Bumping for interest, love me some carrot cake.
do not eat cake. what are you, a potato?
I made one a while ago, but it tasted quite bad.
Cake itself was a bit band, and the frosting was way to limey.
Am I wrong in using chease spread and lime in the frosting, or should it be just soft sugar frosting?
Is it possible to "fix" a picky eater?
My bf's diet seems to consist of only the following: tendies, pepperoni pizza, french fries (wont eat potato in any other form but these and chips), and hot wings.
He hates pretty much any kind of vegetable and fruit and doesn't even like pasta/noodles.
I am slowly being driven insane.
Branch them out slowly, maybe with slight variations on what they already like

I hear cuckoldry works wonders.

Don't like him? Dump him. Why are you obsessed with finding someone, or changing someone, to perfectly meet your particular whims and fancies? You sound like the mentally ill one in the relationship.

Taking my mom to Raising Cane's for the first time today. What do we get?
I like the chicken, but you can get the chicken if you want

Ask for the Hamplanet deluxe.
Is there a difference in taste between different dick breeds/species? Like, i get that a wild duck would feel tougher than a farm raised duck because it flies and swims and runs all day, but say you got a white duck, a mallard duck, a muscovy duck, all farm raised the same way, would they still taste different?
>>8974141
Absolutely yes. Same with any other meat or poultry.
Yes, black ones are the best.
All breeds of dick tasye great imo.
If we're duck specifically mallard probably has the biggest
What kind of autist is obsessed with something as trivial as the colour of what they're eating?
people who can be described as either "cereal-loving" or "Twitter user" tbhwy
>>8974005
The kind that uses twitter
Almost all meat and produce is selected or treated for colour. Nearly all Americans probably, they're fine eating chemically treated food if it looks nicer
ITT: Food people work hard to convince themselves they enjoy even though nobody really does
I'll start with pic related
agreed, for me it's just pizza and McChickens. why does other foods even exist?
>>8973979
Agree
Why do people buy rice cookers? Making it in a pot or saucepan is seriously not hard at all. Plus, rice from a rice cooker is always so bland, it's like little grains of boring. At least stovetop rice has salt.
>>8972824
you must not make rice very often
>>8972824
if you want salty rice put salt in the rice cooker
but you have a point, they may as well make pasta cookers
I understand people in japan buying them because they seem to eat rice several times a day.
I wouldnt bother with it in the west, I only have limited amount of space in the kitchen. I cant get a unique gadget for every dish.
doguhnut or donut?
Donut, that's just the name of the dish like spaghetti.
doggonut
Cykanut

Worlds biggest mcdonalds isn't strictly just mcdonalds. The owner of that franchise location implemented his own stuff that is unaffiliated with the chain, simply because it's a tourist spot. Very unorthodox, but cool. I've been there once. Got a mcrib, because they were back around that time. Didn't get adventurous. My niece got ice cream.

what is your favorite recipe that requires 5 ingredients or less? it's been awhile since i've cooked something new, and since i'm a broke college student, i want to learn something simple.
Put some garlic and onion in a pan and cook until golden, mix in some ground beef until cooked. Put some spaghetti sauce on top and let it simmer for a while. Then put spaghetti noodles in. 5 Ingredients. Tastes pretty good.

What am I doing with my life?
Does anyone else like this stuff? I haven't tried the store bought kind but there is a place around here that makes it homemade and I tried it for the first time about a week ago and love it. I bought a container of this and a loaf of bread and have been eating a lot of sandwiches. I bet it would go great in deviled eggs.

Confirmed for southfag. I make my own but pimentos are too bland so I use thai, serrano or jalapeno peppers, sharp cheddar, mayonaisse, cream cheese, a dash of worcestershire sauce, grated garlic and grated onion. Nice lunch sitting in the scuppernog arbor with a bourbon and iced water.
>>8970857
Hell yes, I like pimento cheese. I didn't grow up in the south, but my mom came from a southern family, so she made all those goodies.
I make my own, and like the other poster said, I spice it up with minced jalapenos or serrano chiles, as well as pimentos I roast and peel myself (I grow them in the garden). Sometimes I use pimento stuffed olives if I don't have any pimentos. Sharp cheddar, mayo, grated onion, dash of worcestershire, and you're good to go.
An Aldi just opened up near me. What do I get?
Mostly fruits, veggies, dairy and meat. They're probably way cheaper than what you pay for now. Nuts and wheat too.
Most other things have that offbrand taste that rubs me the wrong way.
Aldis is a pretty great place, wish there was one where I live.
A noticible lower quality of anything more complex than white loaf bread and things that are already low quality/effort foods that isn't that much cheaper than the other options unless you are used to shopping at whole foods and trader joes. Oh, and lots of homeless people.
The veg is absolutely fine. The meat is probably real too. You can find ALDI brand chocolate bars that taste literally the exact same for at least half the price. Cheaper booze. Literally everything is cheap.
