Starting the thread of with Basashi, horse meat sashimi from Japan.
Sea urchin roe
>Perishable
>Taste the sea
>Go bad?
>Taste the sea-men
i refuse to believe that's horse
horse is lean af and definitely not marbled like that
Breadfruit. I really want to try that stuff but it's literally impossible to find it here. Also I'd love to try basashi, I didn't know it existed desu.
Spaghetti Carbonara
looks dry as fuck.
bet they didn't even add cream.
>>8974644
Better?
>>8974644
I'm sure you'll enjoy this better, anon.
i'm gonna can some beans
i already have black eyed peas but i'm gonna go get another kilo bag
what kind should i get?
Kidney beans, black beans, navy/great northern beans, chickpeas.
canning beans is stupid. leave them dry, and cook as needed in a pressure cooker.
OP thinking about thos Beans
since the weather seems to be trending towards the (relatively) nuclear in bongland, could anyone here please give me a rundown on beers that can be served chilled but also have a fairly substantial taste and character? i'm looking for a compromise position away from pisswater. i don't mind ordering speciality beers so long as it's not insanely impractical. cheers lads.

If you're into your IPAs I recommend Atlantic, Tribute or shipyard. Find em easy in the supermarket, delicious cold
>>8974352
Bud light
>>8974352
PBR or Lonestar
It's lunch time fuckers. What's on the menu?
>coworker going to McDonald's
>has the app with coupons
>buy1get1 big mac
>take patties from one and put it on other big mac
So I had a 4 patty big mac for lunch today
Depression
I ate a baked potato with shredded cheese and Ranch dressing. I'm depressed so that was all I could handle.
>no tipping the monkeys who work here please
>>8974100
Where the fuck is that?
good tipping is dumb
>>8974275
Ill fucking tip ur mom fagget
What are the best things to make when you want your house to smell really, really fucking good?
For me, it's the classic pot roast.
For me its burnt toast
>>8974017
Roast chicken and sage/thyme dressing.
>>8974017
>Chili
>Braised beef shanks
>Baked ziti or lasagna
>Roast turkey or chicken
>Roasted whole beef shank (do it, faggots)
For me it's the Bacon Egg and Cheese, the best breakfast sandwich.
i dunno about a bagel.
i'd rather have a biscuit or english muffin. a pancake would be food too.
>>8973907
>Eurocucks in charge of food
>>8973904
Bacon egg and cheese bagels can be truly godtier breakfasts if you get a good one or make it right.
Does anyone here have these non stick aluminum pans from Le Creuset?
I've been using non stick ones from Tramontina for some years, but they peel after one year o average.
It would be worth to spend more on the le creuset one? I live in Brazil, so I don't have access to as many brands as Americans or Europeans.
Prices:
Tramontina: around 250R$(75 usd)
Le Creuset: 450R$(135 usd)
>>8973491
Just get T-fal.
>>8973496
They will not peel after some months?
>>8973501
Not that anon but...
T-fal is awesome.
I have an All Cast nonstick for the oven ready handle.
I also recommend for nonstick Fissler and Celar.
have you tried drinking this meme yet?
I'm going to try it later today
it may taste nice

I refuse to believe this isnt just some weird inside joke like pepsi and milk
>>8973336

>>8973196

>>8973203

Let's talk induction: is it a meme or a legitimately better way of cooking? Does it even change anything? I'm switching to it from gas soon, and I wanted to hear /ck/'s opinions. Have you guys ever tried it?
>Switching away from gas
You offend me
>>8973180
>is induction an element of a culture or system of behaviour passed from one individual to another by imitation or other non-genetic means?
>>8973182
I'm in the process of moving, and I got an offer for an induction stove for cheap. Since the price of gas is rising quickly in my country (we get a lot of it from Russia an all those sanctions ultimately reflect on taxpayers) I decided to give it a shot.
Hey /ck/, what are some good natural food preservants methods?
>>8973160
What do you mean by natural?
>>8973172
Not done with anything that is artficial or malicious.
pressure canning is my favorite
Real talk /ck/
what the fuck are you supposed to do when your pringles are halfway gone?
Awkwardly cramming your fingers in there only gets so far. You can't just tip the can over, that ruins the precious balance and order to the chips.
Throw it out and move on to the next can. Fucking poorfags.
>>8972762
I just roll the top part of the can down itself like I'm rolling up my sleeves.
>>8972762
Did you know that 15 pringles is a serving. I just ate some jalapeno Pringles. I think I like Lays Stax better.
help me out /ck/. what's the best way to cook milanesa?
(t. non-mexican)
>>8972385
With a heat source
>>8972391
th-thanks
>>8972391
This. I typically use some kind of fire.
