What types of bread and butter go the best together?
Your average person knows
Salted and unsalted butter
Sandwich bread/Rolls/Sourdough whole/white/rye
I have never heard someone ask the question you are asking.
Fresh butter, fresh bread - perfection.
Doesn't get more straightforward than that.
>>8983041
Chips, sodas, pizza, and storebought cake, every single time.
People under 30 literally DO NOT know how to cook, and it's really sad.
Even if you cook something, they won't eat it, because it doesn't look as nice as some storebought thing.
Where can I get the best lobster roll in New England?

Why is her nose so red?
Allergy to the wine, or shellfish...WHICH FUCKING ONE!?!?

Todd English used to have a good one at kingfish in Boston, but it closed.
Maine I guess.
Also Luke's in NYC is good too.
>Right! *claps hands* Today I'm going to teach you how to make the most perfect *insert food*. For me,the secret to a good *insert food* is to *long and pointless process that does almost nothing to affect the flavour*
do you really think he is giving his secrets to world wide television?
>>8983169
With great power comes great responsibility.
The secret is fresh ingredients you mong
Would you try it, /ck/?

How the mighty have fallen.
whats wrong with bouillon cubes? not everybody has the time to make stock, and the shit in the carton is overpriced
>whats wrong with bouillon cubes?
pretty much everything
>not everybody has the time to make stock
everybody has the time but they might not have the wherewithal. that's why we're so lucky water is a thing
Why am I so gosh darned tired after eating anything?
ur not eating the rite thins
>>8982704
maybe you shouldn't eat everything, at least not all at once
>>8982744
I had a bagel and half an avocado. Next thing I know I'm waking up in my chair 15 minutes after having dozed off.
I sleep around 8 hours too, although it might have been closerish to 7 hours last night
I kinda want to try this stuff, but I don't eat a lot of seafood. Is it worth using on other things?
it's cheap bullshit, put it on whatever you don't care about the taste of
>>8982572
It's basically seasoned salt. Add smoked paprika and a bit of cayenne, you'll have a decent blackening rub.
remember it's salt heavy though. If you've got seasoning on hand, you could probably recreate it relatively easy if you've got a decent palate.
I ran out of paprika once and used it on chicken. It's pretty good. You should probably just buy some shrimp and put it on that.
Rate my dominos order /ck/
>>8982496
>$25 for that
what a scam
A bit pricey for what you're getting, but I'd split it with you. I didn't know they had stuffed cheesy bread, sounds gud
>>8982496
I wouldn't eat it.
My ideal order would be
>Hot wings
>Buffalo chicken sandwich
>Plain cheesy bread
>Small thin crust pizza with: Pepperoni, sausage, bacon, chicken, anchovy, triple cheese
>Can only fry or boil eggs
>Can make Pasta and put some sauce in it
>Just pan fry every meat I have
I dunno what else to do. What are easy recipes that I can make? I'm getting tired of eating the same thing
Why isn't there a sticky for this shit that can answer all my questions?
Because nothing about food is universal. We have no way of answering your question without a thorough understanding of your cultural background, local ingredient availability, tastes and preferences, and so on.

Stews, cold salads, warm salads, roasting, braising, soups, cutlets, pasta bakes (ziti, lasagna etc etc etc) baking....the world is your oyster and Google University is FREE.
Stop being a lazy faggot. If you can add 2+2, you can cook a "complicated" meal.

considering we were always moot's favorite board and hiroshi isn't giving a single fuck about /ck/, how would you rate this board now compared to this board few years ago?
>>8981983
The shitposting is a bit worse, but it's not like it was great or anything. I probably had the most fun in like 2012, but I was unemployed and drunk 24/7.
Also, thank fuck for the ban of threads about certain youtubers. Masao was the only one ever worth talking about
I wasn't here a few years ago but this board is pretty great compared to the other boards I used to frequent. It's also one of the few that is almost completely devoid of any /pol/ bullshit. Rest of the site is unusable at this point cause of it
>>8982192
> It's also one of the few that is almost completely devoid of any /pol/ bullshit.
Thats because your a thoughtless nigger that can't into individual thought...
gettin' drunk and about to smoke some ribs
what you doing for dinner /ck/?
Just swapped out my propane tank for the grill. Brats and steak burgers all weekend long.
OP soon
Hey /ck/ I've always just lurked on this board but recently my girlfriend decided she wanted to try and get into Tea and I need your help. Now I've always told myself that I fucking hate Tea even though I have only ever had Lipton green tea (I know I am a pleb.) I was wondering what the top tier types of Tea are that we could try together, any suggestions?
>>8981770
>I fucking hate Tea even though I have only ever had Lipton
That's like saying you hate coffee because you've only ever sipped someone's leftover latte after the cup's been used as an ashtray.
>I was wondering what the top tier types of Tea
The thing about tea is it's a lot like wine: there are basic styles but the meat of it is in regional differences.
I could tell you "black tea is my favorite type" but is that a tangy Ceylon? A hearty Masala Chai? Drowning myself in the oppressive smokeyness of a Lapsang Souchong?
>>8981806
I don't have much, if any experience with Tea, so I guess what I am really asking is where do I begin. Should I just get a variety pack like pic related and just test the waters? (Seems like the obvious answer though desu, but I was just wondering what /ck/ recommends)
>>8981827
>bagged tea
No.
Go look at the tea general you dingus.
