It's warchestershyer you dip.
Through trial and error i developed pretty good recipe for pizza dough and my pizzas come out pretty tasty.
Therefore i decided to move to other breads and chose baquettes. I made the same dough for pizza, just without oil and milk and less yeast. Kneeded it and let it rest for 12 hours. After that formed nice shapes and let them rest for an hour and baked. However they smelled not like real baquettes, the dough itself smelled a lot like alcohol. and walls of pores inside it were quite thick. Thickr than in my pizza dough (which i let rest for 4 hours).
Do you have any clue what am i doing wrong? Internt tells me to ferment the dough for 12 or more hours, but it contrary to what my experiments suggest.

Use less yeast.
If you're going to ferment for 12 hours or more, you've got to skimp on the yeast and let them develop slowly.
>>7366934
That was the first thing i learned (norallmy i use 10:1) and they were terrible so next time i made 100:1 dough, it's currently proofing, 4 more hours to go, but i'm nervous.

What are the best meals for a pressure cooker? I'm new to this.
I just put a bunch of pork chops in my instant pot®™ and pressed "meat/stew." I'm gonna let them cook for an hour-ish. I have no idea what will result.
Then I think I'll just mix some sour cream and paprika in. Like pork stroganoff.
Will keep you posted.
If you buy a pressure cooker these days, you are put on a watchlist.

Good thing I'm cooking pork. Doesn't that prove I'm not a dangerous Muslim?
My chops are ready now! Here they are. I added no seasoning or liquid. That liquid came from the pork itself.
Chopped up some red bell pepper and onion. Added black pepper and paprika.
Set to "saute" with the lid off. I'm gonna try to cook that liquid off.
Will keep posted.
Best way to eat kiwi?
I usually peel it and eat it. My dad cuts them up and chews on the whole deal with the skin and spits the skin out.
1. put kiwi down
2. eat hot dog instead
my method.
with a spoon
Träipen (Luxembourgish)
>Sausages made out of blood, rind and fat

Post food for which your country is known but other countries find gross, and put the name, a description and the country

does it taste good?
if you don't think about what's in there it is acceptable
I'm sure you already know all about this one.
Anyway, it's fermented herring and it's known to smell really bad.
Tastes fine on a piece of flatbread with some onions and potatoes, though.
Just admit that ostrich is superior to beef
If it was the same price, it would be.
That's a sexy ostrich.
supermarket roasted turkey breast is best.
>there are people who order meat lovers pizza
disgusting
It's fine if you get it with peppers.
>>7388995
I order the "Food lover's" pizza. It's got everything that the place has on it, heaped high. Takes an extra 20 minutes to prepare.

It's stacked so high that I can't eat more than 1 large slice.
Had vet lager verwacht.
Britfag here, in need of more vegetables In my diet.
In britain we just throw vegs in a pot, add water, boil, then its fucking done. And that my friends, is absolutely fucking shit.
Suggestions on how to cook or serve vegetables?
>>7388771
>In britain
speak for yourself m80pt80
>>7388771
Depends on the vegetable, but some of my favorites are:
-root vegetables like potatoes, carrots, and parsnips are great roasted in a hot oven
-smallish vegetables like corn kernels, peas, and green beans are great when briefly blanched, then stir-fried with a little miso paste.
-squash and eggplant are fantastic fried
>>7388771
Roast, stew, stir fry, deep fry (followed by stir fry). Also make vegetable soup.
What are your favourite pasta recipes /ck/?
Please share them, I have to make some delicious pasta tomorrow.
>>7388513
I like to pesto, chicken and pinenuts with any type of pasta but shells are preferable because you get them full of pesto and pinenuts and it's delicious.
spinach and mushrooms
>>7388569
These things don't make pasta
Pasta is typically made of durum wheat, water, and commonly egg, anon
I want to start being fucking in my ass on the regular, whats /ck/ recommended anal diet?
i don't want it to be messy
>>7388373
It's going to be messy m8, just be grateful you're not getting shit on your dick
Aren't enema's used for exactly that?
>>7388373
To make your poops go smoother, you should drink more water. Not only is water good for your body, it's good for anal. Not in like, direct lubrication, but those mud poops that like to hang around are fixed by more water
you don't have to drink less other stuff, like sugary drinks or alcohol, just find some kind of gallon water jug you can fill every night, put it in the fridge to get cold and drink it the next day.
So is tasty just nothing more than a meme food channel?
I saw their "beer-cheese" filled pretzel bites recipe come up on my facebook page and I have to admit, shit looks tasty as fuck.
OP that pic reminds me of Fruitopia

It's shit food that is designed to be quirky enough so that lolsorandumb teens and hipsters try it and give Buzzfeed likes, but also sloppy and greasy enough that they can collect up the classic overweight and obese whales trawling the internet as well
Whiskey threads pop up all the time. I'd much rather drink rum.
Favorite rum thread
Pic related for sipping neat, though for mixing nothing beats Sailor Jerry's.
Get a pizza stone they said.

Just heat it evenly they said.
Fuck it, I say. Aluminum can't break.
So, I'm having this argument with an american about american desserts.
Are there any real inventions the made?
For example, she named the New York Cheesecake,
but I would just consider this as a variation of the normal cheesecake
because, come on:
>I put cream cheese on it, its a totally different thing
>muh innovation
That's the same thing as saying American Pizza is an inherently american food,
just because it also gets filled with cheese.
I'm from Austria, so that really is not a big thing to me, yet it seems to be to her.
Can anyone tell if I'm just ignorant or why she behaves like that?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_desserts
If you want to be reductive about it you can make the same argument to say there's no truly Austrian dessert, either.

Just rape her so she would shut her whore mouth
