My family has a signature dish- more of an eating challenge really- we eat once a month that is just a cheap television remote control deep fried in batter multiple times, then dipped in chocolate and encased in candy stripes. Everyone has to eat as much as they can and the winner gets to choose which shows the family watch.

My whole family like the same shows though. They literally just do it to feed their obesity. They call it the 'portion control' to try and be funny but really it is just disgusting.

What are your favorite cake recipes or other things to bake in a tin. I got a new cheap cake tin with a loose bottom and I want to break it in.

What's the tastiest and easiest to cook type of fish for someone losing weight?

I like salmon but it's not always easy to find here
Also I've no idea how to cook it because it needs to be sort of rare

Keep in mind I don't have a grill, only pans and an oven (it has a "grill" but it sucks)

Salmon or tilapia are my top picks. Tilapia is good since it has almost no flavor by itself but it makes more work for you seasoning-wise. I can eat salmon with a sprinkle of salt and some oil, pan cooked. Tilapia is also fairly cheap. You can probably find filets somewhere near you.

>tastiest and easiest to cook
My vote would be a tuna steak. They take about 60 seconds to cook and have a satisfying meaty texture. They are delicious with just a little cajun seasoning.

The only downside is the price

Why cook a fish when a smoked canned mackerel tastes way better than anything you could do at home with a fresh fish

It's the new tilapia. Fishmongers think people are stupid and will buy farmed shitfish just because it has a sexier body than a tilapia.

Fishmongers can go fuck themselves and the same goes for restaurants that serve neo-tilapia.

My friends, I cant eat bread except for whole grain bread. its really expensive.

What can I eat my tasty sandwiches with if not bread? anything clever and similar in satisfaction of mouth feel?

Not necessarily the same in texture or flavor, but at least as tasty.

Large leaves of lettuce. Slices of cucumber. Hunks of cheddar.

I've thought of those things but they seem so ordinary and not suited to the task.

tortillas are the right idea, but unfortunately not good for my health.

Found these at the Food Lion, marked down today, $4.19 for a pound, two chicken breast stuffed with cheese and broccoli. Darn good lunch it was. Ate a bag of broccoli on the side cause I love it

When I was a kid Food Lion got in trouble for washing their expired rotting meat in a chlorine solution and repackaging it for sale. This was in like 1992, but I still haven't shopped there to this day.
