Hey fu/ck/ers.
What is best for buying to take to work every day? Lunch box? Bento? Thermos cup? Do you personally take any such thing to work?
I have a thermos will me every day, usually, for tea or coffee and on rare occasion, a smoothie. But Id like to buy some kind of lunch box so I can make food and bring it each day instead of bringing bowls or plates or whatever like I do now.
Should I get a zojirushi thermos cup like my zo thermos? Should I get one of their 3 tier bento? Any othrt suggestions?
Inb4 someone posts that pinku bento copy pasta

Pretzel chips? Those things are amazing.
Just dropped in to say this.
I just throw away the plastic wrap after I'm done eating the musubi.
Other than that all you need is a water bottle.
I spent the money and got one of the Monbento boxes after a thread I saw two weeks ago. It's expensive, ($28 on Amazon) but I really like it. Only problem I have is that I'd like another dividing cup, but the only place that sells it is the official website and they charge $22 for all shipping, for a $5 part. Mine also has a little Monbento bag that came with it.
For water? I bring a 1 L Nalgene to work.
What does /ck/ think of scrapple?
>>7804436
Disgusting pig anus, and other parts.
i like it very infrequently. it's basically a heartattack in food form. also, like overly rich without much strong flavor. I guess what I'm saying is I kind of like it.
I've never had it but it seems mildly appetizing, oddly enough. What's the texture like?
post them

Try to name a better soup.

What do you call these: Hot dog buns, or hot dog rolls?
Settling a dispute here.
Buns

Anything other than hot dog rolls is wrong.
Is Food wishes the only good youtube cooking channel?
>>7829853
No. He's a faggot Eye-talian that adds cayenne to everything. Best /ck/ channel is the one with Jacques Pepin or Cooking with Dog (it's not what you think).
>>7829853
No

If you were sentenced to death and had to eat your last meal, what would it be?
>>7824421
What are the limitations on a last meal anyway?
Like could I order kobe beef with a side of lobster tails and crab legs?

I dunno my mang, anything that can fit on one of those trays plus drinks i guess.
Anyone else on /ck/ a legitimate alcoholic?
>sad, depressed, PTSD from Army, molested by neighbor when i was a kid
>drink literally all the time im not at work, including on the train going to work
>drink only vodka and water to ease hangover an because vodka is cheap and i like the taste of it
>have to take benzodiazepines before going to work so my hands don't shake or have crippling anxiety
>still pour sweat like a fountain
>just to go to work i spend 60 dollars a month on temazepam
>drink a gallon and half of vodka a week
>216 a month on alcohol
>60 a month on temazepam so i can GO to work
How long do i have to live bros?
>only thing i drink. Only $17 with tax a half gallon
To me, your post is a cry for help. I think that you should try to wean off. Like, just get drunk one day instead of getting smashed. Then just get tipsy. Then try one day with no booze. The best way to get through this day is just to not buy any booze, not have any around. The no booze day will suck, and you will shake, and it might help if you could have somebody with you to keep you from rushing to the store to buy booze. But you will make it. And you will feel so good after a day of not drinking... you might be tired etc. but you will feel your body in its semi-normal state for the first time in a while.
That feeling was enough for me to cut WAY back. I became an alcoholic because of crippling depression and am proud to say that I was able to put it behind me-- at least those levels of alcoholism and suffering.
I'm sorry about your misfortune in life. You have to accept that you are creating more problems for yourself by drinking so much. You ask about how long you have to live. I'm not a doctor but you can be sure that you are doing serious damage to your brain and body when you drink that much. It's not sustainable.
Try to wean down and take a day off, anon.

far from it. Just wanted to know how many people on /ck/ are really alcoholics.
Ya, I do want to quit but I don't go to drs, AA is a cult, and im so depressed when i don't drink that it affects my personal relationships with my family.
I think the longest I've gone without drinking is 19 hours and I was sweating so much I had the A.C on 50F. The lowest it would go
I'm a complete alcoholic, and yet I've never gone through withdrawals. I'm not sure why, just haven't.
I need the ultimate frozen food you must always have in your freezer at all times.
Im fucking serious here. What is it?
I don't eat a lot of sweets and when I want ice cream I like have just a few bites. Regular sized bars are massive to me but these are perfect and the quality of the white chocolate ones are just awesome compared to the other "novelty" junk in stores.
these babies
a frozen 'go 'za, just for whenever, you know what I mean?
Can we have an Indian food thread? This delicious cuisine isn't getting near enough of the love it deserves. Share your opinions and recipes of this GOAT food.

I really like butter chicken, daal, papri chat, vegetable pakoras and samosas. However I am extremely picky about where I eat Indian food. A lot of the kitchens are dirty and chefs lack hygiene. I always feel like shit after it and get liquid brown tsunami out my ass unless I go to certain more expensive/better quality Indian restaurants.
My opinion is that as good as it tastes, it doesn't look very good, so doesn't do well on an image board. It's a bunch of bowls of slop with different spice blends, so without being able to taste (or at least smell) it, it just looks like bowls of slop.
I also don't like when they leave whole spices in the dish that aren't meant to be eaten. In first world countries we've engineered our fruit not to have seeds anymore, why can't India use cheesecloth baggies or something so that I'm not biting down on a whole cardamom pod or a fucking clove every other bite?
>>7828063
Because the food tastes better when the spices are whole/original.
>>seedless fruit
Yeah, and it tastes nowhere near as good as the seeded varieties.
It's a question of compromise: do you want to compromise flavor for convenience?
How does /ck/ like their grilled cheese? What kind of cheese and bread do you use?
A young cheddar and smoked Gouda, either on seeded rye, a hearty wheat, or homemade sourdough, toasted in an even layer of either butter or bacon fat.
If you're going to add something like tuna salad to make it a melt, a thick slice of ripe tomato is non-optional.
>>7824532
Grow up, grilled cheese is baby food
>>7824564
>If you're going to add something like tuna salad to make it a melt, a thick slice of ripe tomato is non-optional.
abso-fucking-loutely not, Tuna melts should go pure. Fuck tomatoes on Tuna melts and fuck putting celery in the tuna too. Grapes, pickles and hard boiled eggs are the only acceptable thing to put in a tuna melt.
