Is this a meme? I kept seeing people shilling it here so I bought some today. It's absolutely terrible; it's extremely bland and rubbery and reminds me of the cheap Swiss cheese they have at subway or other fast food joints. Do people legitimately like this cheese?

I have to make 1 meal for under $20 to last me 5 days.

2 meals a day.

So i bought a pork shoulder thats over 7 pounds. I added a jar of salsa to the slow cooker and itll cook for 2 hours "high", 10 hours "low" and a couple hours "warm."

Then i cook 2 pounds of rice. After that, im gunna add 2 cans of black beans and one can of white beans. Ill lastly shred the pork and add everything into the slow cooker pot.

What do you guys think? After the bone and fat, the pork is probably 6.5 pounds. So thats 11 pounds of high calorie, moderately nutritious food for under $20.

I spent the left over $3 on a bottle of V8 fyi.

I would leave the rice separate, but that's my preference. Otherwise sounds good, what kind of salsa did you use?

You're given
>a sturgeon
>expired pringles
>and toothpaste

You have 30 minutes.

How do they make something palatable with three random ingredients. I have a hard time incorporating spice without screwing everything up.
20 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
They're professional chefs, not a home cook that fucks around with the spice drawer.

Also, toothpaste isn't fucking edible by the most standards. I also haven't seem them become cruel enough to make the chefs use sturgeon yet. Then again, I have seen them pull out things that most professional chefs aren't familiar with.
>>
>>7806163
Yeah but how do they remember all the ingredients and measurements? I make brownies from a box and I still have to look at the ingredients to make sure I do it right.
>>
>>7806180

That's your problem man.

The people competing on there (unless it's an amateur episode which has only happened once that I'm aware of) are professional chefs that have been to culinary school and worked under practiced chefs. They don't invite people like you to appear on the show. It's not much of a show if they're always serving the judges an inedible pile of crap.

Bro I've been on the shit diet my whole life. Ain't no instant noodles gonna hold me back.

I bought 2 from the store last month after /ck/ (or maybe one autist) kept going on about it.

I still have the second pack sitting around and am going to wait till I run out of everything else before I eat it. It's not "bad", but there are a dozen other brands of instant noodles available to me that I'd rather eat, and I'm in flyover land.

I need your best cold soup recipes, because it's hot as FUUUUUCK, and I like making soups because I can make enough for several meals.
I've already make gazpacho this week, so don't worry about that one, I have a good recipe for that. But I'll take any and all good cold soup recipes, please! Help a hot sweaty bro out.

Does /ck/ like nicecream?

what are some good recipes?
11 posts and 3 images submitted.

Is the ice cream shaped around the banana, or just plopped on top of it?

Either way it seems messy and impractical. If you want a banana split just make a banana split.
>>
>>7805575
No its just pureed frozen banana as an alternative to ice cream.

Hi everyone! VERY new to posting at all here, and I finally have a question worthy of posting!

I have a YouTube channel, and no matter what, I will not share the details, but I have been baking some goods, and, well, I guess I should get right to it...

I'm looking for a good motorized rotating display turntable type of dealie.

One without batteries, that would plug into a wall.

After certain goods are finished baking [ like cupcakes! ] I would like to have a full 360 view [ rotating! ] of the item!

Anyone, any suggestions? MANY thanks in advance!

Check out retail supply/fixture stores or eBay. Why are your cupcakes so uneven though?
>>
I'd suggest trying /diy/; it's a slower board but you're more likely to get a somewhat informed response.

It's also not necessary to fill out the name and options fields when you post here.
>>
>>7805573
This person suggests basically 'googling it'.
I'd rather seek the informed answer from an informed user, if one exists.
>>7805588
Most likely will, but tonight, I chose /ck/

I know it's not necessary to input a name, but in my case anyone who attempts to guess/dispute/assume my identity, or tries to copy it, I can reply with a unique identifier, to prove otherwise.

Soup /ck/?

Girlfriend left for 6 weeks to go to Greece to visit some family. The weekends were always our thing to grill out, drink, listen to music. We'd do burgers and brats or chicken legs or other grilling stuff.

I have 20ish in. Weber charcoal grill.

My only question is, since she's going to be gone, is it even worth just grilling for one? Like putting a tbone on the grill and that's it? I don't think reheating steak is a thing, is it? Like I wouldn't want to grill 3 steaks and have leftovers, right?

What are good grilling foods that I could have for a day or two later or even possibly freeze?

Grilling for one.

>>
Grill up a few steaks and make sandwiches or tacos over the next few days senpai
>>
Buy a Food Saver; thing is so cash!! I bake a 3lb salmon filet on the weekend for weekday lunches. I freeze the portions and then vacuum seal each one. Then I drop the sealed bag into some hot water for a couple minutes when I eat it.

Otherwise, high-temp fatty things are very forgiving, e.g., chicken thighs, pork, etc.
>>
The way I see it, OP, is that you have two options.

1) Since it's a tradition to grill on the weekends with your girlfriend, but she's not there, maybe consider doing something else.
2) Invite over a different girl to grill and chill (or maybe even a guy friend or two?).

Heating up a grill just to make one steak seems like a waste to me, and if you're doing it alone just because you usually do it as a social event kind of doesn't really make much sense.
