A grilled cheese sandwich because I'm not going out of my way to prepare a whole separate dish because someone doesn't like onions. They're lucky I just don't toss it into the dog's foodbowl and make them eat it out of that.

Ive been craving a teriyaki bowl lately, what's the best way to make one?

I can make the sauce easy enough, but the chicken is always so tender when you get it from a restaurant. Is a slow cooker the best way or just pan cooked?

Also, what vegetables do you think fit best? Broccoli seems standard, but sometimes the mini corn cobs or other stuff is fun.

Thanks.

That super tender effect is usually produced by velveting
>>
>>9389720
>Is a slow cooker the best way or just pan cooked?
Neither. Teriyaki is grilled. You grill the chicken, brushing the sauce on as the chicken cooks. The heat from the coals carmelizes the sauce onto the meat. That's the whole point. You could get by with your broiler set to high if you don't have a grill. Any other method is going to suck.
>>
>>9389731

Awesome. I've never tried velveting, but sounds like that's the secret. Thanks anon.

>>9389736

Don't have a grill so I'll have to work around it, but thanks, good to know.

Hi /ck/. My boyfriend have a new job without microwave.
He wants to eat healthy and I have a few questions :
-Is it dangerous to put hot things in the fridge ? Should I wait it to cool down ?
-Can he reheats the leftover the morning and eat at noon ?

>Is it dangerous to put hot things in the fridge ? Should I wait it to cool down ?

It's fine

>Can he reheats the leftover the morning and eat at noon ?

Sure
>>
>>9389627
This comes from the fact that older fridges would be taxed harder when putting hot food in it, and possibly warm up other foods. Modern fridges don't have this and you'll want to put food in there as soon as possible to prevent spoilage.

>-Is it dangerous to put hot things in the fridge ? Should I wait it to cool down ?
Yes and yes.

>-Can he reheats the leftover the morning and eat at noon ?
That would be risky. And pointless.

What are the best non-sticking pans? Teflon unfortunately isn't a choice.

I've bought one from a local store but as soon as I thrown in an omelette it become a scrambled egg,
liver was a little less messy but still it left some nasty stains.

>>
Why is teflon not a choice?
PTFE will be in just about any coating, it's not gonna kill you.
>>
Teflon is by far the safest of the non-stick coatings. Its got years of R&D behind it compared to "ceramic" coatings which have only been out for a few years.

Professional teflon lasts for about 3-5 years with proper use.

Stick some on a nice hot buttered crumpet
Fills the holes nicely and the butter means it's not too dry.

I always wanted to try the Chicago. I like three different kinds. A chili/cheese dog, a hotdog with spicy mustard, diced onion and relish, or even a sauerkraut hotdog.

>Baltimore
I've lived in Baltimore for a few years, I've never heard of this. It looks disgusting. I'm surprised they don't pour Old Bay on it or something instead lol.

>14 minutes until close
>fryers cleaned and turned off
>grills cleaned and ready for tomorrows open

>uhh can I get 3 big macs and 5 double cheese burgers no pickles?

If you try to pull this stunt there is a 110% you WILL have your food tempered with. Enjoy that saliva (if you're lucky that's all you'll get). It amazes me how people think they can pull this off and expect their food to be spit free. Even the fucking managers are in on it. Some buffoon had the audacity to order 7 cheeseburgers 22 minutes from close, jokes on that fat fuck he's probably in the ER right now
