Fridge or cupboard/pantry?
I think we all know the answer here, but my normie friends reckon pantry is OK
Cupboard. Why would you keep it in the fridge?
Fridge, I'm not some degenerate.

It's best when you don't buy it at all and just leave it in the store.
Do you have to be a certain ethnicity to be the best at making ethnic food? For example, could the best sushi chef in the world be a white guy?
You certainly could. The fish aren't ethnic Chinese as well. You might get shut down for cultural appropriation by you know who though.
>>9387747
Its possible but white people at best aren't terrible at making food from non-white people.
Japanese people make better French food than the French
>>9387763
Odds are good you're just wrong. White-dominant countries have the resources to do pretty much whatever they want, and inevitably someone does.
Holy fucking shit I would eat this!!!! Let me know if you agree!!!

What do you guys think of my blueberry pancakes.
>>9387568
The tartness is usually to strong and you end up getting that pincer feeling when you bite in the wrong spot. Ultimately pancakes are the weakest of pastry based morning foods. French toast is king when only talking about the holy trinity but muffins in general are also god tier.
Im sorry but im not OP so I have no clue about his living conditions.

Also, it's under cooked.
It's been about 3 months ago for me.
Why don't you pack your lunch, have something to make fresh that evening or have stored food already prepared for dinner?
>>9387194
because fast food tastes good
Maybe once every month or two. Had BK just last night. Standard Whopper and fries. No complaints other than that the fries were soggy. Only eating fast food a few times a year makes me feel like I'm in an Aerosmith video.
Not very often maybe once every two to three weeks sometimes longer. It's extremely bad for your brain, body and not to mention it's not even that good. I do cook and prep everything myself and am pretty organised with it but at the same time it's unhealthy to be too healthy if you know what I mean and it's nice to have someone prep food for you as a novelty indulgence.
Hey /ck/ I just popped a couple of steaks in the oven to reverse-sear for the first time.
Since this is new for me I might as well go out, what are your favorite pan sauce recipes?
>>9386941
>pan sauce
Throw some onions and mushrooms into the pan after the steak is out and cook down until well caramelized, deglaze with brandy, add beef stock, thyme, and rosemary, reduce. Mount with butter.
If you have the choice of any sauce at all though, go for bordelaise or foyot.
>>9386971
Swap out those onions for shallots and you're in business there manchego.
based off what i had kicking around i went with
cab sav to deglaze
chicken stock
mustard
cream
tomato paste
see .jpg
rosemary
kind of like a poor man's steak daine (wine instead of brandy)
turned out pretty good
the reverse sear didn't give me wildly better results than the normal pan sear but next time i'll take it out of the oven sooner and i predict i'll get better results
What's your personal favorite pizza/beer pairing?

Jesus dude. That's like drinking a pinecone.
Pairing
>favorite pizza: This local pizza place's pizza.
>favorite beer: A decent red wine. I actually don't like beer with pizza. Too many carbs.
Hey /ck/, I'm not happy with my life and I want to do something to deal with thosw feelings, so I'm gonna do what I always do and cook something. Today I'm going for comfort food, but I also wanted to challenge myself so I'm making an elevated tomato soup and quesadillas. I've never made tomato soup from scratch so bear with me. I chose campari tomatoes because they're sweet, not very mealy, and they look a hell of a lot better than the sad romas the store had. I'm also adding shiitake mushrooms and fresh thyme to hopefully get a bright, satisfying taste that reminds me it's summer out there. Here we go.
>>9385820
Have you tried transitioning?
>>9385820
First, we get those mushrooms reconstituted. Should take about 30 minutes in this lukewarm water, which gives me time to get started on the tomatoes.
>>9385827
I would but my doctor told me my micropenis is literally too small to operate on.
Just waiting on the water to boil.
I ordered onion rings from a local pub and got these. Does anyone know what they are?
>>9385557
looks like crispy onion rings to me.
>>9385557
Red onions, with a crispy layer? and some yoghurt sauce?
>>9385557
Not fucking onion rings by any earthly maker, OP. I would check them for alien transmission devices.
what's your go-to order at IHOP?
