How do you avoid procrastinating?
I don't.
I masturbate all day, watch videogame YouTube videos and post on 4chan all day. And I justify it with some excuse like "I'm tired" "I'm taking a break, etc.

I put it off until tomorrow.

most sperm banks are near top colleges like stanford and harvard. you need to be at least 6 ft, in one of said colleges, and white, with a good medical history and dimples on your face.

In the UK you are by law only allowed to do it 6 times in total. You get 35 pound per visit.
Also 9 out of 10 people who apply get rejected ( low sperm count, no eductation are non white, small people etc etc)

1) How bad is job outsourcing in america right now?
2) what kind of jobs need to come back
3) what kind of jobs are better outsourced?
4) is job outsourcing really that bad for the economy, employment, and the future in genreal?
>>970706
1) Bad in what way?
2) None
3) Any that increase profitability
4) Not bad for the economy but worthless American college graduates are sad
I work in the print industry. Something a graphic designer who charges $20 an hour and takes 3 hours to complete will cost $5 in India. Theres no hope for anyone doing graphics/web/media in the future. Worst part is that Americans dont care.. "Why would i pay you to do our logo when i can get it done for $5" Then the poor art students with their 100k art degree gives up hope and do it for free just to get some kind of experience or self promotion
>>970706
>1) How bad is job outsourcing in america right now?
Not bad at all. Only shit-tier jobs that a literal Indian who can't speak English properly can perform are outsourced.
>2) what kind of jobs need to come back
None
>3) what kind of jobs are better outsourced?
The ones that currently are. Telemarketing, callcenters for companies, shit like that.
>4) is job outsourcing really that bad for the economy, employment, and the future in general?
No because only shit-tier jobs can be outsourced.
In turn this reduces Companies' costs in wages so they can pass on the savings onto the customer.
Tell me about this curve /biz. Do you know what it is? Can you spot it in the practical world? Do you use it everyday to your advantage?
>>970670
No.
>>970670
Yes. I once spotted a curve like that in a waiting room at a dentist office. Was a nice curve, very gradual and unassuming. The curve belonged to an attached chair, belonging to a set of 3 such chairs. It fit my left and right buttocks nicely, giving them a good cushion and supporting a healthy upward posture. 10/10 would use curve again if encountered in the future.
It's believe it shows my job prospects after graduating
Should I invest in Google?
should have done it a year ago
it's still gonna be the largest company that's ever existed so why not
at this point only buy a little
dont invest in browsers until the Google starts looking week
i mean tb,h invest in reddit or tumblr they are growing fast
>>970776
the stupidity from this comment hurt. are you old enough to be here?
Driverless cars are the future, they will reduce car accidents to near 0 and speed limits can be increased as the human error factor is taken out. This will increase efficiency in both domestic car use and the freight industry; which within the next 20 years will be revolutionised. Trucks will be able to run 24/7 decreasing shipment time and potentially saving consumers and companies billions. Companies to keep an eye on: Alphabet (Google has a head start in this field with at least 6 patents pending already), Tesla and Mercedes.
Tl;dr why are you not investing in an industry that has the potential to make billions?
Because acme driverless cars isn't a fucking company yet, and it is totally unclear what companies will end up taking a leading role. I agree that the general idea that self driving tech is going to be huge, but its all over.
Do I invest in GM? Or freightlinger? Or walmart? Or a chip maker? Which one ( several are racing for the self driving car standard)
The list goes on and on. Self driving will be huge, but sp many players right now and some of the are going to work out and some not.
Personally in the shorter term I'm going with walmart. Thier plans for development and revenue are the furthest along and most realistic in the short or medium turn.
Too bad I don't really dig on individual stocks.
>>970411
I agree to some extent. There is uncertainty into which company will be the driving force behind this industry but there are some that have a clean advantage and have already built prototypes/have patents related to the industry. Google's Alphabet for example has the might of a global mapping system behind it with their Google maps, not to mention the fact that it has substantial funding to pursue this path. I'm not saying it's a foolproof plan of action but I recognise the significance that it will have to the world (potentially as big as the internet) and I am willing to take that risk to invest in companies such as this.
>>970404
Until questions like ownership and liability are answered properly I'd avoid.
You have to look at the human nature side of things.
For examples:
People like to own a car it's a status item, with the Google car who owns it? Do you lease it from them, do you call one up like a taxi and it arrives at your home, work, wherever? Is it yours to exclusively use or will niggers fuck in them?
Also if there is an accident who is liable? The driver? How will insurance work?
All this needs to be worked out a little more to be a safer investment for the public- the first time one of these kills someone the compensation claim will be huge
>google killed muh boy
I had motivational issues last year and didn't revise at all, it has caused me to have to repeat this year and feel depressed af. I am 18 but won't leave for university (if I go) until I'm almost 20.
Anyway how did you /biz/inessmen do in school/college?
I basically tried as hard as I could to fuck it all up over booze and parting and drugs.
Don't do that.
>freshman year

Ended up taking an extra semester to finish. All I needed was credits, from my past history of taking chump semesters or dropping classes .
I made it out whole but barely. I am who they are talking about when they say not everyone should go to college.

I'm sorry to hear what, may I ask what is your current line of employment or educational insitution?

I never got the booze / drugg crowd desu I always look at those type of students and wonder what kind of parents raised them.

>went into the army reserves to try it out, dropped out due to multiple factors in november
>now looking for jobs that are relevant to my degree
I started last week monday and since I've been sending out 15 what I think is well-written applications
how fucked am I? master's programmes start in september, if I don't magically get a good entry position job by then I'm considering applying, should I get a master's?
I know I've only been job hunting for a week and so far only got three rejections, but shit do I feel worthless already
Did you do any internships? Did you network?
I'm guessing the answer is no. You sound pretty unambitious and lazy.
But yeah go ahead, get a masters. What's 2 years more of no relevant experience? You'll be almost 30 without any, maybe you'll get an entry level job and be able to move out by 35.
>>970199
>internships
No
>Network
I had friends ofcourse but I didn't rub shoulders with those guys who came to school in suits and left parties before midnight in order to just show their faces for the right people
>unambitious and lazy
pretty much, I went into it with an interest of the political aspect of economics but lost interest halfway through. mostly because of disappointment in the lack of scientific rigor in economics (which is why I went accounting & finance instead) and the low level of interest displayed by both the institution and the general student population, despite it being a top 100 university
it might be worth mentioning that I'm not from the US and internships for instance is not as common here as they might be in the US. Out of the people I started the program with maybe 25 % had internships or relevant summer/extra jobs during their studies
but absolutely, I totally regret not doing some ECs
>>970205
>only 25%
The fuck country is that where so few had internships yet still top 100 university?
conceiving children should be a luxury only for those eligible for raising them and have sufficient resources to maintence their babys with basic needs.
personally I dont think that we are now made to live in families. we must need to find more effective methods , and ...i dont want to keep my species alive..
what I believe is that it should be a crime to have a baby and not love or take care of them.
I hate my father.. He has another family and he always hate me too with no reason.. Im still young and i dont have enough money to leave my home...
Someone feels the same?
There are currently too overpopulation and this is a problem affecting the world economy and international society ... no culture or education about family planification . the standard of living
Is lower everyday.
If -We want to live better or... Preserve the human life.. Only a few will have the right to have kids..
Also..
Human rights are bullshit.
Law +brain= cruelty but effective.
Law+feels and humanist and Human rights shitt= lovely but stupid

HOUSE OR A CAR – WHICH SHOULD I BUY FIRST?
>>969822
Buy a car if it will save you time travelling regularly. Don't buy a house unless you actually want the freedom that comes with it. But a good housing index if you want to invest in housing.
depends on your scenario.
>>969822
You can sleep in a car but you cant race a house
Hello /biz/
This is my first time on this board, and I was looking for some advice. I want to move out because my parent situation is god awful and I want to get out ASAP. I have no savings but I start my new job tomorrow and it's $10.10 an hour and it lasts until December 31. Should be getting a good amount of hours. After that's over can you give me an idea of where to go from there? I was thinking of moving to Italy and working on an organic farm (which provides food and shelter), and then wing it from there. (i'm from california btw). I don't have a degree but here are some qualifications I have
-Bilingual (colombian spanish) reading/writing
-Really good at drugs
-Funny
anyway the end goal is being able to support myself and having a decent amount of spending money, just enough for some good drinks and food. I just wanna be cozy and cook delicious meals and then netflix and chill.
How do?
>>969819
>-Bilingual (colombian spanish) reading/writing
Useful for drugs
>-Really good at drugs
What exactly? Buying/selling? - Could be profitable but you need to have a good system in place or connections
>-Funny
uh ok I guess
>>969825
Just doing them. As in I can handle my shit very well.
I'm studying International Relations, am i fucked?
Yes. Dumb worthless major.
Wtf kind of job can you even do with this? It's like "Political science", unless you have connections to work in government or something you'll be unemployed.
>>969423
I know a girl who studied Int Relations. She now works for one of UN agencies in Geneva. She travels to places where natural disasters happened and so on. I have no idea how much she makes, but looks like she lives awesome life meeting people from all over the world. Of course, she also studied legal sciences and speaks 5 languages.
>>969423

kek. Natural gas in both of those states is so cheap they are basically giving it away. Why.
Why haven't you opened an eBay shop yet? Pic related - my lifetime earnings as an eBay seller. I just flip mostly small items from thrift stores, classifieds, and yard sales. I invest maybe 10 hours a month tops.

I have. Need to move it away from eBay and onto its own website though. eBay buyers have too much power.
