How do I get a job with a specific company? I've applied directly on their website, reached out to company 'recruiters' on LinkedIn. I have done hours of 'free' work related to their business to show I am committed.
Do I just need to know someone? What is the boundaries I should obey when trying to reach out?

This is a good idea but here's how to do it.
Call the person who runs the department you are interested in. Tell that person you want to discuss with him on an idea that will save or make him more money. You will initially state you are a consultant. You have the meeting, avoiding all the HR fucksticks, and you'll state you really wanted to work for the company but figured you could be a consultant or contract worker to prove yourself first. He will be impressed, call HR and accuse them of being goat fuckers and he will tell them to hire you.
I've done this in the past and it worked for me. When you become a "consultant" you disarm your target in that you are trying to help him; not him trying to help you. It's nifty HR karate.

Holy fuck why am I so fucked? I could never just be a normal blue collar person who sets up their own business after. Music production is so all or nothing and I'm no good at talking to people or even making beats. I've honestly played with the idea of just running off in the night to a big city to see if I can break out of being a pussy and become more normal while meeting people and releasing my music to the city.
How fucked am I? It kills me to think of people with 6 figures going on vacation and getting nice houses. I do have a niche for it but I have like a mental block.

I'm talking about from home, for the couch potatoes like me who doesn't want to pay for gas and end up being wage slave working 9-5.

Does /biz/ teach people shit online over Skype/Apps for minimum wage (~10/hr) with almost zero effort? I've been doing it via a mobile phone app, teaching students from China english, but more than that just talking with them, no actual teaching being done, just talk whatever and try to be interesting to a kid, ask them about video games, Taylor Swift, shitty american shows, etc.

also i think there might be one or two proprietary features but they're highly unused so you might not need them(in office i mean). You can do pretty much everything in openoffice/libreoffice, it's just a little different to do the same things.
