Hey biz, let's say I get a decent job, live frugally, and save my money. How much money would I need to have to start investing, and who would I go to that can invest my money? (I have no interest in studying the stock marker or real estate or anything like that.)

Do they take a percentage of your investments or do they take a straight up fee?
And how does this compare to going to an individual person who knows what to invest in (real estate, stocks, etc.)?

Downfall of our best policy, Capitalism.

I'm reading a couple things right now. Usually I have a couple books going both for work and pleasure. I'm reading some books on Linux and VOIP for work right now.
I just got The Rose That Grew From Concrete which is a book of poetry by Tupac, very excited to start reading this one. The other day I started The First American: The Life and Times of Benjamin Franklin. Amazing read so far. It's a little long but well written so I'm blowing through it.
Recently I finished Ireland by Frank Delaney, not bad for some light reading. Also the Face of Battle which was excellent if you like military history.

Not answering your question but just saying, this fantasy job of yours plays on all you know (your adolescence-long love of anime and Japanese culture). In a few years you will have broadened your experiences and probably want to do something else. So do whatever the fuck you want, but I recommend picking up some IT skills and getting really fucking good at Japanese and possibly learning a bit of another language too.

I dropped out in my third year of university but I always did very well in my classes. I can research and write a good (but not too good) paper with minimal effort. How much should I charge for this sort of service?

but keep in mind this is a price sensitive market. I usually get between $10-$12 a page, but I can sometimes get $15 if the deadline is tight.
Though I still write papers my model has shifted to full online classes. It's a good system, but you need to be as honest as is possible in this business for people to trust you with their log-in credentials.
My biggest struggle was mastering APA (my background is MLA).

Ok so listen to this idea, I only have $10,000 right now, but could I use that to get a $50,000 loan to buy some land, and then use that $50,000 to go to another bank and get a $250,000 loan? And then build a duplex with the $250,000 and use the rent to pay back both my loans?
