This post is not to support Communism, Socialism or any other form of economic policy. Instead to propose a brand new form of reasoning to rethink all of our past mistakes.

Downfall of our best policy, Capitalism.
>Capitalism is the most commonly used economic policy, implemented by most of the world's leading countries.
>The free market is not so free, and instead has many companies bending the rules to stifle innovation and prevent the best access to resources.
>Companies look for the lowest cost option, which inherently are also the most damaging options for our planet.
>Zero transparency of the influence money and companies have in the government, most importantly the creation and implementation of laws.
>No accountability of these laws having on the lives of people.
>Most interactions between government and corporations revolve around the exchange of money for services, behind door meetings.
>Major discrepancies between C-Level executive pay and workers.
>Companies have the ability to buy out competitors, and innovative technologies; though they usually stash technologies which could benefit the world at large.

More to come.

America is driven by consumerism. Rich people only capitalize on the people's poor spending habits and low standards.

just love the classic anti-capitalist reasoning

>corporations are buying special treatment from the government (taxes, enviro, lobbying, subsidy, porkbarrel spending, etc)
>we should be outraged at corporations!

Now examine this parrallel
>students are buying advance copies of exams from a complacent University administration
>we should be outraged at the students!

NO mention whatsover of the corrupt administrations

Follow the money ALL THE WAY. The corporations are just competing for whatever resources happen to be available. If government favors happen to be available due to government corruption, then don't fucking blame capitalism, you cunt.
>>
>>1502896
>>The free market is not so free, and instead has many companies bending the rules to stifle innovation and prevent the best access to resources.

The only way you're right about this is regulations, redtape and lobbying. But this is an issue of the government getting involved in the market rather than capitalism.
>>Companies look for the lowest cost option, which inherently are also the most damaging options for our planet.

This is true, but fuck the planet. That isn't the "companies" choosing it. That's US, as people choosing to fuck the planet.

Shit you and I, and the average person take for granted, for our enjoyment and low costs of products, requires "fucking" the planet.

>>Zero transparency of the influence money and companies have in the government, most importantly the creation and implementation of laws.

there's never transparency in politics. The only way to minimize the damage is limited government.

>>No accountability of these laws having on the lives of people.

Above

>>Most interactions between government and corporations revolve around the exchange of money for services, behind door meetings.

Again. Flaw of government getting involved, not capitalism as a system.

>>Major discrepancies between C-Level executive pay and workers.

And? Workers are easily replaceable, companies have the right to decide to structure their pay grade as they want.

>>Companies have the ability to buy out competitors, and innovative technologies; though they usually stash technologies which could benefit the world at large.

This isn't true. Any competitor has a direct financial interest in bringing these innovative technologies out

the problem when Companies look for the lowest cost option is that less people can buy their product so the Companies kinda setting themselves up to fail but on the other hand people avoid not being able to afford these products anymore by using credit
>>
>>1502937
I think a mixture of capitalism and Socialism works well
>>
>>1503024
If customers look for the lowest cost option it allows them to offer a product at a lower pricepoint to maintain same margins
>>
>thread about why capitalism doesn't work and why communism does
>proceeds to list out problems created by communist and socialist policies and blame it on capitalism

Every time

what if government corruption is an intrinsic consequence of capitalism and therefore inevitable while inside the capitalistic system?

>The free market is not so free, and instead has many companies bending the rules to stifle innovation and prevent the best access to resources

>bending the rules

Free markets dont have rules. We have rules, therefore not a free market.

>Zero transparency of the influence money and companies have in the government, most importantly the creation and implementation of laws.

Free market wouldnt have laws that help or hurt economics.

Right now we are living in a pseudo capitalist society, none of which follows true free market capitalism.

Free market capitalism is i have an apple I want to sell, I find a buyer, negotiate a lower price than competitors and complete transaction. No need for business llc to shelter from taxes or liability. No laws that say only companies that comply with this regulation or administration and pay dues can sell apples, no other bull shit.
If this was the case people would always strive to have the best and cheapest product to beat competitor. its the gov't regulations that interfere with that and ruin capitalism by turning it into hindered growth because of liabilities taxes levies laws and other retarded shit.
>>
>>1503055
If any of that were the case, we wouldn't need socialist policies from the government, either.

But what's the point of telling each other what we already know...
>>
>>1503055
Same thing with "free" trade deals, if it really was free trade it wouldn't involve armies of lawyers and hundreds of pages of legalese. We live in some neo-feudal global fascist nightmare.

why do you even try? these people don't care. all they ever do is hating the poor, whining and being smug. they do not even realize how they fuck up the lives of those who they say they speak for.
>>
>>1503881
Most problems are a direct result of government intervention in the economy.

Eliminating government regulation is the fastest way to prosperity.

An example of this was post WWII Germany, government regulations were lifted and Germany became reindustrialized quickly post war.

Meanwhile, the UK adopted top down socialist policies and stalled the reconstruction of their country.
>>
>>1508198
indeed
only problem is accelerated economic prosperity often comes at the cost of future generations one way or an other.

you remove government intervention and companies can do whatever the fuck they want, they won't care how damaging their business is to the environment and their workers...

other than that i agree.
