literally everyone who has bitcoins

>he actually thinks he can get his thousands of dollars (a real currency) in """investments""" back

So /biz/ I have managed by God's grace to get an interview at a London investment bank tomorrow. It will be by 2 analysts, and I was wondering if anybody could give me an idea of the questions I will be asked. It is going to be a mix of accounting/valuation questions and company fit. It is for a 6 month internship.

Thanks

Because it takes too long to send fiat there, and you have to use a bunch of shady unknown third party services. That and all the fees through all these steps.

After opening a trust company in Reno, Nev., Rothschild & Co. began ushering the massive fortunes of the world’s most wealthy individuals out of typical tax havens, and into the Rothschild run U.S. trusts, which are exempt from the international reporting requirements.

The Rothschild banking dynasty is a family line that has been accused of pulling the political strings of many different governments through their control of various economic systems throughout the world.

Historically, there is ample evidence to show that the family has used insider trading to bilk money from both private and public funds.

During the Battle of Waterloo in the Napoleonic wars, Nathan Rothschild was responsible for one of the oldest cases of “insider trading,” which led to the Rothschild family robbing a whole nation blind. In 1815 when the battle of Waterloo took place, there were no quick methods of communication like we have today so messengers were used for communication in times of war. The Rothschild’s took advantage of this by having spies on the frontlines of the battle who would return information to the family faster than the messengers used by the military.

When the British won the war, Nathan Rothschild, was of course, the first to know, and he immediately went to the stock exchange and started selling stocks while putting out the rumor that the French had won the war. This created a panic on the floor of the stock exchange and investors all over England began frantically selling their stocks. With the price of all stocks plummeting Rothschild was able to buy out the whole English market for a fraction of its cost. When word returned that the English had actually been victorious, the value of the market soared, and overnight Nathan Rothschild expanded his family’s wealth, and cemented their position as one of the richest families in the world.

And they are still pulling the strings. Most of the humans are their slaves without even knowing it.

It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning. - Henry Ford

Any person who oppsed Rothschilds payed for it. Most of them got killed.

“The death of Lincoln was a disaster for Christendom. There was no man in the United States great enough to wear his boots…I fear that foreign bankers with their craftiness and their torturous tricks will entirely control the exuberant riches of America, and use it systematically to corrupt modern civilization. They will not hesitate to plunge the whole of Christendom into wars and chaos in order that the earth shall become their (the bankers’) inheritance.” – Chancellor of Germany, Otto Von Bismarck, 1865

All right so I've been programming for about 3 years now but I finally admitted to myself that I fucking hate it. It's so boring. The only reason I started doing it in the first place was to build software to make money off of but since I hate programming I'm not really going that extra mile and I'm not really pushing myself and so I haven't made much money from it (a bit over $20k over these 3 years). I'm an applied math graduate student and a physicist and programming is just not at all intellectually stimulating to me, except for when used to solve math / physics problems.

So do you guys have any ideas for low overhead methods of making money that aren't programming? Feel free to suggest anything, it doesn't even have to be something you do online although that is preferable.

It's never too late, the supply halves every 4 year, thus the price will automatically double each time it halves. And it rises anyway since it's being adopted worldwide.

Kek. Have you been there before? What's it like?
>>
>>1721589
Not at JP Morgan, but at a leading engineering consultancy most recently.

What's it like? Absolutely fucked if you're the average 4chan user. This was a smaller one than others but here's a run down of what happened.

Show up in the foyer of the conference section of their office building. Coffee/tea shake a bunch of hands. Try not to be autistic. Try to work out who works at the company and who are other applicants. Run out of things to talk about and have awkward silence in front of HR.

Go into room get a run down about company values and what they do. Then they asked "What things most stood out to you in the presentation?" This was the first opportunity for everyone to talk about how important they think various whogivesafuck is and why they're passionate about it.

First official task was this:
In pre-assigned groups, short list the 5 most important of these 40ish values. Justify your response. Each person select a value and talk about a time you exhibited this value.

Morning tea. Try not to be autistic again. Make conversation.

Second official task:
In different pre-assigned groups, build a tower out of these materials that supports an orange x distance above the desk. At the end present your structure and discuss decisions made.

The end. Other assessment centres have also had an individual written task and IQ test.
The most important thing is showing you're not autistic and not a cunt, while still being better than everyone else there.

While your fascination is admirable, you need to start from the basics.
Read up on financial markets, stocks and macroeconomics.
To answer your question, you need a broker in most cases, which has usually been automated to software and websites.
Stocks range in price, depending on their worth.

I talk to people. I talk to homeless people on the street. I talk to strangers at the bar. I talk to the people serving me at restaurants or running the register at stores. I talk to managers and workers and bums and millionaires. Just because I like to talk to people.

You never know who your next client or employer might be. So just talk to people. Find out what they're doing and whether they like it or not. Take an interest in their lives. Go to libraries and churches and volunteer at events and for local projects. Find a hobby or two. Invite people along. A network is more than just a bunch of business cards in a rolodex, it's your friends and acquaintances.

regarding autism- it's possible to be mildly autistic and an extrovert. there's lots of us.

we just learn to avoid people over time because of our disadvantages. We have weird eye contact, we tend to drone on, we don't know when it's our turn to talk, and we take longer than others to process what's being said. I also have the weird habit of repeating everything anyone says under my breath.

most of this can be overcome by
1. copying the other person's eye contact
and
2. Actually being curious what people have to say and listening to them instead of just waiting your turn to respond or thinking of what you're going to say next.

People still think we're weird, but everyone likes a person that's honestly interested in what they have to say. So ask questions and find out what people's stories are. People love to talk about themselves, so just listen.

don't get anxious when you screw up in conversation, nobody really cares what you say. They want to be heard. And sometimes agreed with.

talk to your co-workers, talk to your bosses. Just talk with people. Business and work opportunities follow.

Some of you may or may not be aware of it, but quantum computing is happening real soon, and with it, the possibility of cracking through any symmetrical and asymmetrical encryption, with BTC uses.

I planned on investing in BTC earlier this week but this has just crossed my mind, and from what I red so far, protection against quantum computing is impossible to implement to the current BTC system, leading it to its inevitable destruction in the foreseeable future.

Unless someone show me I'm wrong, I don't plan on investing now, and I think none of you should, but if I am I'll gladly go in the market.
15 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
yeah its safe.. practical massproduced quantums wont be around for at least a hundred years
>>
>>1721486
>mass produced
It'd take one address cracked to crumble the entire system, and since the NSA is actually investing tons and tons of money into encryption breaking quantum device, you'd imagine that they won't restrain from cracking through addresses they believe are used for malicious activities to stop their funding, since many shady operations actually uses bitcoin.

The "ye dont worry we'll see later" mindset is what's gonna doom the whole BTC market if the one in charge do nothing to take action.
>>
>>1721491

Quantum computing is on the level of Fusion power.. IE: Prototypical stage

im not worried the least.. its too easy to jump ship.. I'll convert my BTC into some other "quantum resistant" coin in the future

im more worried about exit scams than BTC getting cracked by quantum
