What now? It's a pretty big company.

Now you get fucked as you become the ultimate wage cuck. Enjoy spending what little leisure time you have left studying in the evenings for multiple exams at a time to get your ACCA or CIMA qualification or w/e you're doing. Those seniors are gonna ride you like the bitch you are, constantly putting all the dreg work on you and whipping you till your back is broke. Welcome to hell friend. I predict an hero within the next 2 years.

> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade. It's also pretty basic shit.
> When is it coming to my country?
Never. They only have "plans" on an Australian beta.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, email their support. They are very good.
> Is this the place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
NO! THIS IS 4CHAN, A PLACE OF POLITENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM!!!
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform. -- (also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!! and Jews are not white)
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want a 2nd account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
>How do I git gud?
Don't listen to any advice in this thread.
> Can I use Robinhood on my PC?
Yes, download an android emulator
> I'm ending the year with positive shekels! I'm rich!
Not so fast goyim, remember to report and pay taxes on any capital gains.

The fucking money machine
So /biz/ I've been researching becoming a financial advisor. I'm curious how difficult it would be to get into the field with no financial experience and no degree. I have retail and insurance experience if that helps. I would be looking for a position in Indiana.
What makes you think you are qualified for this position?
Just about every reputable company will require a bachelors or more.
>>1722408
I'm not currently qualified, but I've seen a lot of these places do have the training necessary.
>be a wagecuck
>get home from work tired and miserable
>almost immediately have a decent measured shot of 40% liquor
>not eaten for 4-5 hours so takes the edge of my shitty life with a numbing buzz
>repeat for the next 50 years or likely more as they inevitably increase retirement age indefinitely
Is it actually possible to escape the wagecuck lifestyle once you're entrenched in it?
>>1722251
r9k know better, you should go there.
>>1722251
Depending on how old you are you could have been doing the FIRE method and be closer to retirement than most.
Honestly you need to quit drinking and look into finding a better job. In your current state you aren't going to be breaking ground with a successful business. Unlike the memes portrayed here most businesses will require more hours and harder work than wagecucking despite what they will tell you here.

a lot of people in my office(IT Company, no one has a background in finance) focus a great amount into the stock market. I recently just joined this firm and their overwhelming interest in penny stocks and making small but comfortable money makes me interested in the stock market. Although a dangerous game to play, I'm always interested in making an extra few thousand every now and then. But I don't want to start until I'm positive in what I'm looking at and what I'm investing for.
What I'm trying to say is that, where do I start to learn finance of this degree? any tips? any hints?
buy sp500 wait 40 years
wait until the bubble bursts and buy the dip
Penny stocks are cheap for a reason.

How does the US Economy work if we just import all of our products, and export hardly anything in return? Won't our trade deficit just result in money printing, and thus devaluation of the Dollar?
>>1721989
We export lots of stuff faggot
The U.S. dollar is backed by the U.S. Military
>>1721989
We export a lot. Cars, heavy machinery, chemicals, minerals, the list goes on and on. We don't export cheap shit like t shirts and tooth brushes, but we do export a lot of high value equipment that requires heavy capital investment and good infrastructure.

What is cashflow?
Cashflow 101, created by Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki, is an educational board game aimed at teaching investors concepts of accounting, finance and investing. ... The objective of the game is to “get out of the rat race” by accumulating enough passive income that exceeds your expenses.
Other versions of cashflow:
Cashflow board game
Cashflow the E game 101
Cashflow the E game 202

So my state recently legalized weed.
How do I profit off this?
>>1721797
invest in cocaine
Also, I actually do have enough savings to open a store of my own, but I don't know if I wanna invest all the money I've so bitterly saved over the past 7 years.
>>1721797
You can't. Banks won't give you money to start a weed shop because it isn't legalized federally yet. If Wells Fargo gives a loan to a Masshole weed shop and they get interest paid by said Masshole weed shop, then they could get punished because they have branches in states that have not legalized weed yet.
Banks were scared of this under Obama when weed legalization was gaining a lot of traction. They'll be even more scared when the Attorney General says he opposes legalization of weed on the state level.

I'm considering purchasing an internet forum. It has around 198 current active users, which can be increased by advertising/shilling(it's 4chan mentality related)
It's up for sale for the price of 4,5k USD in BTC
Anyone has any previous experience in this field? Can this be monetized, made better and sold for more after.
I meant 200 active users online at all times, sometimes even more.
>>1721759
sounds like a good deal if legit, youll get that in ad revenue in no time.
could be a scam though.

A lot of "it depends"
I saw the movie Margin Call recently i have a some questions about what they jobs where of the characters. I have the feeling the some were just team managers that would manage the sales teams but they were not very knowledgebale about the financial markets or economics or business. They were basically middle management and they got the job becuase they were in the right place at the right time. Help me understand.
Kevin Spacyes character.
In my view he was the team manager i drscribe above. When the team was low he gathered the team and gave them a peptalk and made them believe in it and made them work a little harder. That was he basic function.
Paul Bettany
He was Kevin Spaceys eyes and ears on the floor. When the team only needed a small pep-talk he could probably give it. But when they needed a serious pep-talk Spacye would do it. He was probably a sales person on the floor and through some skill and ass kissing got his current job below Spacye.
Simon Baker
I don't get this guys job. I understand that he is above Spacey. But what is his actual job? What does he do on a day to day basis. When the others talked about him they called him a "killer". What is he a killer at? Is he deal maker?
Help me understand. I am interested in the banking world and trying to understand it.
>>1721749
Betany is desk head
Spacey is floor head
Baker is division head
Moore is chief risk management officer
Tucci is head of risk management
Quinto is junior risk analyst
