Bitcoin = dollar = fiat
Dollar (1913 - present day)
Bitcoin (2009 - 2017)
You just lived over 100 years of history in 8 years.
Spoiler: it doesn't work
-pretends to be backed by something
-"better" than gold
-Births a "stock market"
-altcoins = penny stocks
-"corporate" coins emerge
-Bitcoin is king of its exchange domain (cash is king)
-over 600 altcoins = other countries fiat competing with the dollar
-China buys all the Bitcoin (treasuries)
-game over race to the bottom
Fiat cucked bluepilled snowflakes can't you see?

Recently have been given an opportunity to acquire an old family owned piece of property extremely cheap, it is on a busy stretch of road, I am looking for types of passive income to get into and self storage units have been on my mind the last 4 or 5 years, there are several locally owned units scattered around my town of about 10,000 people im trying to figure out how I learn if there is a demand for more units the average monthly rent is around $25-35 depending on size, I estimate that I could build a 40 unit structure for about $30k counting some light dozer work and concrete flooring and charge a minimum of $25 per unit per month or I could start smaller and build a 20 unit space at half the price half the income, what are your thoughts, also none of the bug name chain storage have a site within 100 miles of here

Find a way to improve upon the competition, such as adding security cameras, giving out free high quality locks, or giving out a free monthly blowjob (good upsale opportunity).

Nope, that's just one shill attempting to pump it a bit. No one has bought into that meme.
Let's talk AVQ. Im interested in it's obscene SP fluctuations since March 16. What happened?

RMX hasn't done anything exciting since first announced here. Still no word on actual drilling. Still no word on test results.
Only new information is that they are widening the search area for the test drilling, which I wouldn't think they would do if it was good news on the initial drill.

I'm 26yo with a 47k salary at year. I'm still trying to learn to budget my money as I am awful at monthly spending. Is there any advice you wish you could have told yourself when you were younger?

Buy whatever the fuck you want and enjoy your wealth now while you are young of body and mind. Being old with money sucks ass compared to being young with money.
Is the American stock market overvalued?
Yes, For a very long time now.
Compared to bonds? No.
>>1750573
the stocks being overvalued is an oxymoron based on the efficient market hypothesis.
but what goes up will eventually come down.
I have a wealthy father who always told me we were going to invest in real estate multifamily/single family houses, or we are going to start a small business making widgets.
It has been over 10 years, and I have nothing to show for it. I have spent 5 years of my life, went through real estate courses, studied the shit out of every real estate sales website from conforming loan foreclosures, large multifamily complexes and mobile home parks, but he refuses to lend me a dollar to buy any single unit...
I have come to realize my family will lead me down the wrong path time and time again, never giving me a penny except possibly in inheritance and allowing me to live there...
I have come to the conclusion that I will go no where living here, except saving money on food/rent...
Should I go to lower cost of living place that will meet my real estate expectations high cash on cash return, in a growing metropolitan area, and get a job at McDonalds, so I can get a 20% down cheap home and rent it out to some roommates, or just say fuck it, and retire to Cambodia and fuck my self silly for the next 10-40 years on this planet?
I have more than 450k, all invested in stocks/vanguard.
I'm frustrated because I have analysed hundreds of properties, and the returns seem fantastic assuming 0% appreciation, just using the cash on cash, but my very wealthy family will not lend me a penny, and banks will not either due to unemployment.
>never giving me a penny except possibly in inheritance and allowing me to live there
>he refuses to lend me a dollar to buy any single unit
and....
>I have more than 450k, all invested in stocks/vanguard
why would he lend you money if you have enough to buy a property to rent out?
I have shown I am the best steward out of all my relatives, by the amount of money I have accumulated/saved and earned.... but my father still shits on me... Why?!

So biz, tell me just why in the fuck I shouldn't start renting wedding tents for a side hustle.
>people cast all financial reason to the wind for their "special day"
>cost to rent a tent = cost to purchase a tent
Am I missing something here?
>>1750360
>cost to rent a tent = cost to purchase a tent
but cost to rent a tent =/= cost to purchase a tent+cost to store a tent+cost to dispose of a tent
so it's all good.
>>1750378
Right, my point there was breakeven on investment after the first couple gigs booked.
Proper storage may cost you (depends on your situation).
Either you have to transport in there, assemble it, then reverse the process at the end of the event which sounds pretty boring and also like proper work requiring more than your two hands (ie less profit). And you're also liable for the damn thing when the drunk bridesmaids stumble into the side and bring the whole mess down on top of everyone.
Or you hand over your precious tent to idiots who'll bend and cut it to hell and back, only stopped by the storm carrying the whole damn thing away and killing the bride via careful impalement. And good luck on getting all your parts back.
I earn 80k a year and I am 35 years old.
