I NEED AN ONLINE COURSE ON STATISTICS
khanacademy comes to my mind but it seems normie tier, while my iq, as is commonly known on the chans, is 130+
soemthing like stanford online courses would be better, and they do have an online statistics course
but perhaps there is a very good, well known online course by another university, which would be the go-to course if you want to learn about statistics
which is why im asking

thanks nigger i can google too
this course seems to require some basics in statstics, and i'd rather start at 0 and be sure i know my fundamentals rather than not
sorry if i came off offensive but this is 4chan and one can not afford to appear weak here if u feel me m9

What are some of your bets since Trump has become the president for US economy?
>>1750169
>Trump has become the president for US economy?
i see he has grabbed you by the pussy
I didn't get your point.
Stocks. He's a businessman and his presidency is certainly going to make certain companies skyrocket.

I was thinking of the possibility of starting an on demand app for shopping. Yay or nay?
>mobile app (ios and android)
>allow people only in my town to order stuff
>quick "on-demand" delivery
What do you think, I mean, what could possibly work with this business model? Food maybe?
>>1750153
Yes food for sure, but since your target market is so limited (depending on how big your town is, of course, but still limited) I would provide as wide an array of services as you possibly can.
Something like a combination of Amazon + JustEat + eBay only for people living in your town.
That would give you at least the chance to monopolize online market in your area
>Hey I need X
>I'll just look it up on anonsapp™
>>1750245
That would be great in the short term, but what about if I want to scale in the future?
I think that if I stuck to one niche, say food for example, it would work better.
I've already got started on building the app btw.
>>1750249
>but what about if I want to scale in the future?
Well if your plan is to stick to your town how can you scale? In my opinion only way your app can actually become big in the long term is precisely to cover how many areas as possible, and make it the go-to app for all kinds of online purchases. But perhaps there's another angle I'm not thinking about
>I've already got started on building the app btw.
That's cool you got any screens of the beta by any chance? Or is it in early development? (I know jackshit about programming)
Where do you live btw
Is jewing normies the ultimate goal, /biz/?
>>1750071
If by goal you mean the end game of capitalism, yes.
>>1750071
Absoloutely. There's a sucker born every minute.

no it's survival
First time poster and have barely any knowledge of business.
Am currently in college to get a bachelors in mechanical engineering, planning to do a second major in business.
I'm 19 and trying to get ahead financially since my young age is an opportunity
Am I on track? Is getting a degree in business worth it? What is it that I will learn?
Anyone who was in my position previously, please give any pointers you can.

>Am currently in college to get a bachelors in mechanical engineering, planning to do a second major in business.
*cringe*
>>1749968
i was hoping for something a little more helpful than that
>>1749970
Welcome to /biz/ new friend.
Invest all your savings in penny stocks and cyrptos. Thats all you need to know.
>got a W-2 form in mail from former workplace
>says I got paid $1500 in all of 2016
>I quit in December 2015, picked up last check on my way out
What's going on here?
who cares, try to claim that $1500
>>1749853
This is what I was getting around to. But why would I have been paid this in the first place?
>>1749870
Maybe paid vacation days you hadn't used.
Don't know how it works in US but in Sweden you earn 2 days vacation for every month worked. If they're not used by the worker the employer must pay it in cash
What are some ways to earn money on the side? I live in UK, I have a full time 9-5 job and some spare time every now and then(not keen on starting a family yet).
I don't want to go to a second job as taxes would make it not worth the effort.
I'm looking for legal way of earning some quid in a spare time, I welcome any tips and advice?
Invest in dividend funds. You'll need some decent capital to start off with. And personally I reinvest all divided returns so you won't actually see it until you decide to sell your positions or harvest the dividends
write ebooks. I've got around ÂŁ10 a month my best selling ebook. If I improved the quality, chose a better niche and marketed more I can easily see getting a much better return
rental property - though buy to let has been shafted recently so I wouldn't do it. I have however invested in property crowdfunding, I've put ÂŁ2,600 into a property which is expected to get ÂŁ10 return for the 3 year term, and then a nice profit when it's finally sold off at the end of the term. I could sell my shares in the property before if I chose
>>1749818
I don't have much capital as of yet, so I'll skip investing yet.
Same goes for buying to let. I don't have enough capital and don't earn enough to get into it. I did consider that once I get more money.
Writing ebooks sounds very good. Can you tell me more? Point me into right direction, please.
>>1749792
I make about 100$/m by playing low stakes online poker. I have played for a long time, though.
So I decided to start a wordpress blog. It will be about current society and a few clickbait articles. How much can i make after a year?
Deplebish me on this
Who would advertise on such a site? What kind of affiliate marketing could you do with this kind of blog.
Not many people spring to mind. Sounds like a dead end page with 5 uniques a month. Abandon now.
>>1749784
Current society means politics, sports, economics, fitness, sex etc. Mostly men 18-35, which is an important target for corporations
how much have you made so far monthly.
post a link to it.

Hope we can gather some folks together
I got a business idea today while walking through a mall, yay or nay?
>location: malls or high streets
>set up stands w/ one employee
>employee collects people's bags and charges $X to deliver them whenever and wherever the customer wants
>driver comes back every time he's finished a round
>total of 2 employees per stand
What do you guys think?
What is the point of this? Are you Euro? This does not make sense in US where everyone drives their car to the mall.
people carry their own bags, almost always
>>1749671
I was under the impression that women just go to the mall to try on clothes, gossip, and occasionally buy something. I think this would only work for the rich who buy buy buy. Maybe make it a service you could book for a day instead of setting up a booth in the mall.
Why not invest in shithole countries and build them from the ground up? I mean theres money in South America and Eastern Europe.
>>1749617
People do this, generally doesn't work out too great.
>>1749617
you invest tons of money and then they change governments and take everything you built.
then if you're Exxon or whatever the US will come in and kick the shit out of them to protect your investment, but otherwise you're SOL. US Marines will die for your oil, but fuck if they'll risk a paper cut for your telecom or whatever.
>>1749619
As in they get robbed or killed, or as in they just financially fail
Is he right?
>>1749595
He is only right about middle class people with middle class families. They have just enough money left over to invest, and to take risks with. Poorfags are cucked tho.
Most people who became rich were already comfortably middle class, like Bill Gates. You are more likely to take potentially hugely rewarding risks if you know that you still have a safety net if you fuck up.
This is why places like Sweden have much more upward mobility than the US btw
>>1749595
Money makes money.
Poorfags have a lot lesss opportunity to exploit this due to being, well, poor. Doesn't mean that they can't, just that going from poor->middle is a lot harder than middle->rich.
>>1749595
yes
> personal injury lawyers
Is there a lower career?
cryptocurrency shill is lower.
>>1749499
man, U really hate it when people get legal representation to help recover costs associated with a horrible injury that someone else inflicted on them. so terrible.
Wage cucking
I'm thinking about camwhoring with my significant other in order to get more cash. Anyone have any experience in this?
I'm looking for the best site to make as much money as possible. And I'm wondering if the profit is enough to be worth my time.
All experienced tips from camwhore or watchers accepted.
if you look like that, nobody will watch. unless you do really disgusting stuff. hit the gym sometime.
