Military.
Army national guard
Air national guard
Army reserve
Navy reserve
Marine reserve
Coast Guard reserve
Find a workout program online and do it for 3-6 months before you go to basic training. DO NOT choose a job that deals with weapons, you wont learn any valuable skills.
Basic training is roughly 8 weeks, and then you go to a specialized school for a few months after that.
Finish that and serve 12 weekends + 2 weeks each year for 4 years.
You will have skills, you will have references and a network of friends with full time jobs, and you will have very affordable health insurance. Unions LOVE veterans/military.
I'm 23 and halfway done with HVAC trade school. I'm considering joining the coast guard reserve once I'm finished. They may even let me do a shortened version of basic training (just 3 weeks) because of my trade knowledge.
Life on easy mode. Especially with Trump promising to expand the military.

What are the special forces like?
>>1755313
I don't know any real numbers. But I would guess that an experienced potato peeler on an aircraft carrier makes within $10,000 of most people in the special forces. And probably lives a longer healthier life too.
>>1754162
DUI puts you at a huge disadvantage and I think the Military is the best way to level the playing field.
Besides look at the title of your post 27 years old with the education and experience of a 19 year old. You need someone to kick your ass and get your life in order.

>The main objective of this study was to examine whether Bitcoin can act as a hedge against global uncertainty...
>Specifically, we used a global measure of market uncertainty based on the common component, that is the first principal component of the VIXs of 14 developed and developing stock markets. Besides using raw returns, we used wavelets to decompose Bitcoin returns into its various frequencies, that is, investment horizons. The results from standard OLS regressions showed that uncertainty negatively affects raw Bitcoin returns, with the effect on raw returns emanating at longer investment horizons. Given the heavy tails of the variables, we next applied quantile methods that are more appropriate and useful to detect left and right tail dependence. Quantile regressions indicated that Bitcoin does act as a hedge against uncertainty, that is, it reacted positively to it at higher quantiles, especially at shorter investment horizons. Finally, when we used QQ regressions, we observed that hedging is observed at both lower and upper ends of Bitcoin returns and global uncertainty, but again primarily at shorter investment horizons. Our findings highlight the importance of not only decomposing Bitcoin returns into its various investment horizons but also, more importantly, the role of accommodating for estimation methods that incorporate information from quantiles for both Bitcoin returns and global uncertainty. Thus, unlike conditional-meanbased results, Bitcoin is shown to serve as a hedge against uncertainty at the extreme ends of the Bitcoin market and global uncertainty, but at shorter investment horizons. Therefore, short-horizon investment in Bitcoin can help investors hedge global equity market uncertainty, especially when the market is functioning in bear and bull regimes and also when uncertainty is either low or high.

How can I profit off of multiple sclerosis?
>>1753815
kek
Create fad diet that prevents/help MS. Back it with bogus science and half truths. Make it really specific with the types of foods and hard to adhere to the diet 100%.
Write a book about it. Make you money through the books sales. Have yoga classes all across the country and use them as fronts to pimp your book and get it spreading virally.

I'm 24, I have a job in private equity making apx. $50k/y and I am interested in building sources of passive income.
Here's what I'm already doing
>High yield savings, $25k brings in $21.88 per month or about $262.50 per year
>Roth IRA/brokerage invested in low cost, dividend ETFs. About $32 per quarter or $128 per year
>Cash-back Citibank card - 1% back when I spend 1% back when I pay my bill equates to 1.99% cash back on all purchases
I plan on building up my roth and brokerage accounts so that I can bring in more dividend money. I like interest because of how safe it is, but at 1.05% I feel that I have better opportunities to make a return and therefore limit what I contribute.
I'm already debt-free, and I've reduced my expenses as much as possible without compromising my lifestyle. What are your ideas? What are you currently doing and how much are you making from it?
If you can pay your bills with your salary and you're not ready to retire, passive income is not for you because it's taxed.
It's better to gain equity that's not taxed until you sell so you can build up your net worth, which should be your main goal.
I'm mostly into re notes and property for investments.

I'm not OP, but I'm new at this. Can you please elaborate on this point? What is a good free online resource for leaning about this?
>>1753808
>I'm already debt-free
I'm also debt free, but is this necessarily a good thing? Our economy seems to be built around the concept of debt being a normal thing. It helps you build credit and it helps you live more lavishly. Just don't let it get out of control
I have a minimum chequeing account here.
Should I upgrade it to a better one? The dankest one requires $5000 minimum balance at all times but you get lots of cool shit
Well?
If you will use the "lots of cool shit" and can maintain the minimum balance then upgrade, else don't upgrade.

Seems worth it, especially since you'll probably want $5k liquid anyways as a buffer?

If you have a weak character then don't bother, if you make a call in regards to someone's debt, things are going to get heated quickly.

Where would a non technical guy like me go to get an app built? I know some java and swift, but not enough.
I don't want to partner with anyone becasue I don't need too, but how much would getting a company to build it cost?

Just learn the rest. Programming isn't hard.
a hundred dollars per man hour if you already have a detailed wireframe with accompanying styling guides and very detailed feature lists with the technologies you want used. then double that rate when you want to add/change features since no one knows the code base except them.
if you don't have all that other stuff, no one will even consider you.

Its a career with a ton of pointless credentialism and little payout. You will probably wind up mapping out parking spaces in strip malls for $50k a year with $100k of student debt.
