A centralized blockchain, run by some psudo-government private company like the federal reserve, will be the standard of currency in the future.
It will replace current fiat slowly, but eventually completely.
It will NOT be bitcoin but bitcoin will still be around as the standard black market currency, if an alt coin like Monero never overthrows it, which I see as highly unlikely.
Discuss
Why would a centralized blockchain be preferred to a decentralized one?
Who would secure it, and make the rules?
I don't think there is any incentive to prefer a centralized blockchain with unclear distribution backing and security brought to you by the same people who manipulate interest rates. They could perhaps have a temporary advantage by connecting all current financial instruments to it, but that wouldn't be enough to compete with the fairness of an open consensus on ideal money.
It might not be bitcoin, but it will not be a private company.

Because Normies like stability, and having a "government" agency regulating the currency will make them feel secure.
The banking Jews tricked the world into using our current system of trading backless paper, why would they not be able to convince the masses that their "stable" "safe" "secure" Crypto is better than the stuff that the "scary dark web" uses for drugs?
Is it time to get out? Thanks Obama for this amazing run.

It's ok. According to you, the President controls the stock market. So, Trump can just make it keep going up.
Anybody knows his way around wordpress? How customizable is it really ?
I am just getting started and I am not really happy with everything about the theme, even though its the best I saw.
I'd like to delete some features, how do I do that.
Also, in second pic I would like to display a grid of images with a title that links to the categories displayed on the top but it does not seem to allow me to put the pictures and text in a distinct way.
Any tips welcome.
>>1746561
I've made a few sites using wordpress before. My best advice would be to find a theme that works for you. Search for a theme with a grid layout.
Depending on what exact features you want to remove you may or may not be able to do that through the widget section. Like on mine I had an archive, meta, and about section at the bottom I wanted to get rid of so I went in to the widget menu and cleared it out.

Gonna look up widgets and other themes, thanks

ANY price change, spike or drop will be insignificant to what happens if we get coverage
All it takes is one or two of these to run the story and they all do, these outlets are basically litmus tests for CNN and Washington Post so they can decide what runs

Alright yall, I need some legal advice:
5 years ago I rented an apartment from this girl. She owned the condo and rented me out a guest room. I put down a $500 deposit and paid my rent the first of every month. I was the perfect tenant, and I've never had an issue renting in my life.
Well she started a little crazy, and got crazier and crazier. I said fuck this and moved out. I was current on rent and left my room clean. Moved all my shit in 2 days.
Well she sent me all these legal talk emails that I owed her 2 months rent (I was supposed to give 60 days notice via the lease agreement) that she was gonna sue me, plus interest. The whole situation is so fucking insane, she demanded I pay her $2000. I think she was on meth. I even left her my deposit $ and a washer and dryer. I just wanted to be gone.
Well today I get a letter from the magistrate court where she lives, that I have a civil action against me, there is a "peremptory calendar" that I have to show up for.
I was just gonna say fuck all this, and not even go. I never even recieved a subpoena!
What do?
>>1746406
Should have read your lease, faggit.
Whatever you signed can and will be enforced if she wants to take it to small claims.
>>1746442
Well that's what I was afraid of, but I was told that by law you can break a lease agreement and leave if the landlord's environment is unliveable, and believe me, the environment was unliveable.
>>1746462
You neglected to do that, though. You simply reneged on your contract.
Hope you have large amounts of documentation to show it was "unlivable." To show you have made complaints. To show you attempted to negotiate. Otherwise you lose. And all of her filing costs get added to the damages. And that sum collects interest. And she can keep on your ass to recover for a decade. And she can garnish your paycheck directly if she can find out where you are employed. And you pay the filing costs getting your own checks garnished.
Work out a payment plan with her, or give her proper notice and move back in. You're paying for the room either way. Maybe then you can document the harassment and bring a case back against her if she loses her mind about it.
>ps. you're going to lose.

Hi guize.
I'm 22 right now and I've failed college. My parents have money though and I could get back in college next year at 23. I had some mental health problems when I was in my engineering program so hopefully if I manage to get that part better I could suceed.
What do you think, is it worth it? Or should I create websites for passive income and buy bitcoins to get rich?
College is a meme, don't waste your money
>>1746221
College is good here in Europe, depends on the diploma obviously but engineering, economics,... will get you a job sometimes even before you have finished your degree
>Tfw about to graduate college
>25+$/hr job for me to take
>too depressed to finish last semester and apply myself to secure job
Is your situation like mine?
What are some jobs that pay at least $11-12/hour and I can just listen to music or podcasts while I work and nobody gives a fuck? Honestly, bonus points for manual labor (as long as it's year round and not seasonal) because why the fuck wouldn't I want to get paid to listen to audiobooks and get shredded?
Pic related. It's jobs.

I'm not american but I worked in a factory and all i had to do was pack things into shipment boxes. I also did some other things bc in the end I got a little bored. It was pretty nice tho. I would just listen to a lot of podcasts and learn a lot. Pay was ~$24 an hour bc i worked from 15 pm to 11 pm. 1 hour of paid breaks and all the coffe/tea and sodas I could drink.

If you invested in a very low cost index fund — where you don’t put the money in at one time, but average in over 10 years — you’ll do better than 90% of people who start investing at the same time. - Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting (2004), as quoted at The Buffet
Fuck off with your granpa investments
One of the major surprises I received when I moved out of childhood into the real world, was the degree to which the world is stratified by genuine competence.
I was invited once to a gathering of the mid-level power elite, where around half the attendees were "CEO of something"—mostly technology companies, but occasionally "something" was a public company or a sizable hedge fund. I was expecting to be the youngest person there, but it turned out that my age wasn't unusual—there were several accomplished individuals who were younger. This was the point at which I realized that my child prodigy license had officially completely expired.
Even so, these people of the Power Elite were visibly much smarter than average mortals. In conversation they spoke quickly, sensibly, and by and large intelligently. When talk turned to deep and difficult topics, they understood faster, made fewer mistakes, were readier to adopt others' suggestions.
No, even worse than that, much worse than that: these CEOs and CTOs and hedge-fund traders, these folk of the mid-level power elite, seemed happier and more alive.
This, I suspect, is one of those truths so horrible that you can't talk about it in public. This is something that reporters must not write about, when they visit gatherings of the power elite.
Because the last news your readers want to hear, is that this person who is wealthier than you, is also smarter, happier, and not a bad person morally. Your reader would much rather read about how these folks are overworked to the bone or suffering from existential ennui. Failing that, your readers want to hear how the upper echelons got there by cheating, or at least smarming their way to the top. If you said anything as hideous as, "They seem more alive," you'd get lynched.

Being a CEO or a business owner has nothing to do with that. Its all about knowing your niche and having a good degree of risk tolerance. You wasted 30s of my life on your wall of text.
