Post an image of your favourite animal and say why it's your favourite?
My favourite animal is the giraffe, why? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWd2KeDhi2Y
>>2343896
Not necessarily favorite but foxes are definitely up there. Look how purty.
hyena. just because it looks cool and is a total asshole.
>>2343896
I got to pet and feed a giraffe once. It was weird because their tongue wraps around your arm and pulls the lettuce out from your hand. Simply put it was rough, slimey, and sticky (no other way to put it). Their necks feel very strong and muscular and their fur is rather coarse.
Ive found what seems to be a bumblebee in my house. I gave it some sugarwater and it crawled away after drinking and it is now sitting on a shoe for some reason.
Idk if its stuck but what should i do with it?
>>2343809
Give it a little bit of honey and introduce extreme flowers.
Just put the honey near it or they die.
>>2343810
But i read they shouldnt be given honey.
>>2343813
That's because people feed it to them, I said leave some nearby.
I'm on my wits end right now
I adopted a cat a month ago and ever since I got him he has been sneezing up green snot. Took him to the vet the rescue people had since theyou gave me 30 days free insurance. They gave him 2 antibiotics. Nothing, only caused him diarrhea. I went back they did an x Ray on the cat, a poop culture, everything came back fine. Now my free insurance has run out and the last thing they did was a culture of the snot he sneezes up which apparently costs $150... the vet said that if he doesn't get better they are gonna do a nasal flush. I feel like they should of done that after the first round of 2 antibiotics didn't work. My cat has been having diarrhea for a month since I have been giving him anti biotics non stop. Should I just take him to another vet?
>pic related. The little guy eats and drinks water normally. He plays around a lot too. He doesn't look sick at all apart from the sneezing attacks with snot
My mom had two cats who had continuous nasal discharge for their entire lives. She has the same issue where the cats are tested for infection but nothing comes up.
It might not be an infection but allergens or a virus.
Have your cat tested for allergens, and viruses like feline herpes.
http://www.m.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/why-cats-sneeze
I know it's web md but yeah, there's some examples.
And I'd recommend trying another vet if your vet didn't think that it might be from a virus instead of an infection.
>>2343747
Apparently he started sneezing just before I adopted him. I feel like the best course of action would be to just stop giving him anti biotics and let his body do the work
>>2343660
just swap it for a non-faulty unit
You guys got any purebred dogs?
This is my German Shorthaired Pointer.
>>2343649
>You guys got any purebred dogs?
Yes. You can find them in any of the many dog threads, already on the catalog.
How do I determine if the puppy is going to grow into a big dog?
>>2343683
look at the proportionate size of the feet as the little madcunt grows
My friend really need know
>>2343388

>>2343388

>>2343388

ya feel me?
How do you defang a tarantula? :^)
I think you can get it done at the vet for fairly cheap
>>2343313
this kills the tarantula :^)
>>2343313
Why would you?
Have any of you seen this? is it worth watching?
>>2343280
If you are not already vegan then yea, you should watch it. If you are then nah, you probably understand how bad it is already.
>>2343280
fuck cows
>>2343280
I watched it. Leftist propaganda cherrypicking the worst pictures available.
It's ok to watch, though, but don't believe everyone is shit toward animals.
I was wondering if you would be able to help me identify this plant i found located near me. Also if anyone else has any plants they would like help identifying, please include the following

Lamium purpureum
Pretty common here in Maryland too.
So I remember seeing this old show as a kid, about how animals in the future might look like, I'm genuinely curious if these could actually show up in the far future or if they're just the product of fever dreams?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHY135TdgUs
>>2343256
oh yes, i still remember those fucking arboreal octopodes
>>2343266
Only thing I remember off the top of my head were the silver spiders that farmed up a bunch of hamsters.
>>2343256
>I'm genuinely curious if these could actually show up in the far future or if they're just the product of fever dreams?
Nobody can or will know. That's why it's called Speculative Biology.
Though I do remember an article about the flish not being the right shape and what it would take for it to be functional.
My cat of 8 months is still sucking on my ear, is this normal? We got her at 2 months so we thought this was normal when younger, she keeps doing it though.
Pic related, she's very clingy to me.
>>2343189
Its somewhat normal, especially in cats adpoted before they are 3 months old like yours. She thinks you are her mom.
>>2343189
Could be worse
>be walking home from college
>itty bitty kitten freezing to death where somebody tossed it into a snowbank
>bring it home
>get it vaccinated and shit
>cat eats a fucking shitload
>at first shes an itty bitty kitten but she just explodes in size
>3 months old shes already as big as a normal cat
>plays in water, gets mad when I dont share the shower with her
>shit you not, plays fetch like a dog
>turns out its a maine coon
>they are the biggest cat breed, the great danes of the cat world
So I adopted a cat that is going to weigh 35 to 40 pounds. She does the ear suck thing too still.
yeah most cats that get separated from their mums that age will do this forever.
Can we all agree that scarves/bandannas are the ultimate doggo accesory?
seems like they don't react well to anything else
My vote goes to cropped ears. Makes a dog look serious and alert like a Doberman, to down right terrifying such as a battle dressed pit.
>>2343156
yes
So it turns out dinosaurs have a completely different classification than what was traditionally thought. Maybe this can help explain why some Ornithischians with feather like follicules. What say you /an/?

>>2343151
>why some Ornithischians with feather like follicules
*were found.
Can't believe I forgot to type that.
>>2343151
>So it turns out dinosaurs have a completely different classification
It's an hypothesis, and not a very good one.
the authors have to say Herrerasaurus ISN'T a theropod to get their hypothesis to work.
ignoring the obvious flaws in their methodology, this initial assumption is fucking daffy. Herrerasaurus has too many shared traits with theropods to be a simple case of convergence. Nobody is going to buy this load of shit. It will be forgotten by this time next year.
>>2343151
>some people refuses to change the definition of Dinosauria
>mfw sauropods might not be considered dinosaurs anymore
Found this online,
Looks cool but I have no clue how to care for a giant snail
Bf says hell no
So damned cool though
>>2343005
They're really easy to take care of, bit considered agricultural terrorists in some countries. One this size would need a somewhat large tank (10-20 gallon maybe) and coconut shavings mixed with water and drained. They eat carrots oats and cucumbers so its not to much to feed them and its fun to watch them eat. You have to make sure their tank's nice and humid though. And they live for 20+ years.
>>2343005
Neat. I'd get one if I could find one. Alas, they are illegal and difficult to find here
>>2343018
>20+ years
My bad. They've been known to live ten years in captivity.

How do we stop the spread of this monster?
>>2342936
More cats
>>2342936
Yeah, UK should choose a more suitable bird like a cuckatoo.
>>2342952
from the article
>As a fervent beach-bird botherer, I’d have opted for something truly symbolic of our island’s shores – how about the cuckoo, the time-honoured signifier of spring and usurper of other birds’ nests – surely a suitable symbol of our colonial past?
