I caught a mouse yesterday, but it has a broken leg from my cats getting to it first. Any tips on how to feed, water, and take care of it?
Just use a mouse care sheet.

Yes I have some.
2 years old, neutered, He goes under my blanket and positions his body overtop of my arm and clamps on hard with his teeth. The only way to get him to let go is to stick my fingers in his mouth and pry it open(which causes him to make weird noises in protest). Also he alternates moving each back leg onto the arm then lowering it.
hes horny
hungry

Hallo to everybody! I'm new here, and I hope I post my message in correct topic. I'm a foundator of the project dedicated to vision of the future life on Earth 25 MY after human extinction - the fictitious Neocene epoch. The project is mainly in Russian, but the part of it is translated into English.
I'd like to find colleagues interested in art and biology to add new ideas and illustrations to the project.
I hope there are people interested in this theme and ready to join or project.

Ah, a fellow future historian. Some diversity with the surviving equids would be nice.
Oh, very old picture. I have seen it more than 10 years ago. What is a source of this illustration? It looks like drawn by any artist illustrated Dougal Dixon's books.
Do I get paid?
It is immoral to have a bird as a mascot? You know, have them locked in bird cages, cut off their wings so they don't run away, feed them with processed food etc. I love birds and I really want a couple of lovebirds, but I can't stop thinking about being a horrible person for depriving them of their freedom
Birds do best when fed a mix of processed (pellets) and unprocessed (fresh veggies/fruit) foods.
You don't keep birds locked up in cages 24/7. Even birds in an aviary should still get some outside time. Cages are so the bird doesn't hurt itself when you're not physically present.
Wing clipping is a personal preference to control flight time. I am fine with netting up my windows.
If it bothers you so much don't get one?
Go get something that requires less care and attention like a couple small fish in an /an/-approved aquarium

This is bait you guys, pack it in.
Ok /an/ i have a problem im having house work done and I was in the garage at around midnight. Then i hear this fucking meow from a kitten and im like wtf its coming from the car. I spend an hour getting him unstuck but the little fuck is feral and ran into a bush. Everytime i meow at him he responds so I know he could possibly be friendly maybe just scared so i left my garage open with some food in it . The next morning hes in a pile of wood. Im trying to dig him out but I dont want to hurt him or her how do I catch it? Im the only one in my family whos interested in catching him.
Try meowing again.

Im trying to figure out how to attach a vid but hes moved to the other side and still responding

Oh look its you again.
Haven't seen you post in awhile, does it take that long for the meds to wear off?
My dog has a bleeding section between her thigh and belly and I think it was a bite. I assumed then it was from a fight or whatever. Yesterday around midnight I saw a large shadow that scared the shit out of me, it was a possum eating catfood. He was just sitting there next to the bowl, even while I was 5 foot away shining a flashlight at him or as one of our cats were sniffing him. Is it dangerous to cats? Do possums only attack when provoked? Or harbor deadly diseases and whatever else? I know for a fact these dogs hate the fuck out of possums or maybe think we don't like them or whatever so I assume the dogs tried attacking the possum and it fought back. What I want is your opinion, what should I do? Should I try scaring him away or just shoot him? These are the only two options I can think of, if he doesn't disappear these dogs will still try and attack it again which will ultimately lead to it's death but also potential harm to my family too. I don't hate the fuck so would like to just scare the shit out of him but if a romp with two dogs doesn't scare him I am afraid gunshots probably wouldn't keep him away either. Perhaps I might be able to cage him and then I could drive him further away?

That block of text is sorta hard to read.
If I understood it from scanning, I think your cage idea would be good.
Kill the fucker. Possums are nasty shits and will keep coming back to take more food and possibly end up hurting your cat or your dog again. Even if you take it far away it'll just breed and make more of those fucks that will take someone elses food or go through someone elses garbage and injure someone elses cat/dog.

This OP, fucking murder the little shit and I'm not animal expert but I would take my dog and cat to a vet after getting attack by a wild animal
Im looking to get into beekeeping this summer. What sort of starting costs am I looking at and what should I be paying good money for and what can I cheap out on?
Beekeeper here, first I'll need to ask some questions?
Where are you living anon? There may be relevant laws. There will be environmental factors that effect your beekeeping.
You will need, per hive, a floor, at least 2 brood boxes with 10 frames per box, a feeder box (optional but recommended) a queen excluder, a mat and a lid, you will need at least one "honey" box too, I recommend 2 or 3 per hive though. Also recommended is a bee escape.
Will also need, a suit and hive tool.
Look up beekeeping suppliers online in your cointry/state and price these items.
and a method of extracting your honey, even hobby extractors are expensive.
>>2339631
To add to this. I suggest buying your first hives, either full hives or "nucs" buy at least 2, if not more.
To answer your second question, you can make the floors, cover mats and lids yourself easily, unless you plan to build thousands just buy the boxes, buy them dipped too. Buy plastic frames, melt beeswax in an electric frying pan a roll a thin layer of wax with a paint roller, If you know local beekeepers and are friendly they may let you take some busted gear, if you can get some boxes with busted corners and frames with snapped lugs, you could put together some hives for free. It's okay if there's another hole in the hive if it's strong, or just block it up.
I've been googling, but I haven't found many results that have worked.
My dog is 13, and she's pretty healthy, she'll be around for a long while.
She's always bored though. She just had a cyst removed, and she has to stay inside, i can tell she's REALLY REALLY BORED.
She used to be very active, but she doesn't seem to have much interest in going for walks and such like she did when she was younger.
I dont know what kind of toys or activities to do with her though.
she doesn't want to play tug of war
she doesn't watch to fetch or chase balls
she likes bones sometimes but not always
I'm at a loss here
pic related is her a few years ago
>i can tell she's REALLY REALLY BORED.
Maybe you are projecting your feelings on to your dog. Most dogs at 13 years of age will not be as active as when they were only a few years old.
>>2339509
well
i'm probably projecting a bit. but like i said she can't go outside; much of the time, she sleeps most of the day.
but now she's just....sitting.
she just sat and stared at me for maybe a half hour straight
she seems bored, but you're right I could be projecting.
It definitely seems like she wants something/wants to do something, so idk
plush toys or squeakers?
my dog is 13 and he still loves those
i also feed him with a kong wobbler, he seems to enjoy that

http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/2185393-Are-Facebook-taking-animal-cruelty-seriously-enough
Can someone explain to me why shit like this persists on Facebook, and does not get removed? This sadistic fuck not only has one, but a few videos were he tortured the animal on them. They seem more interested in deleting political opinions that don't fit their worldview.
It's because Farcebook care more about their revenue stream. People have done worse shit and posted it on there without them giving two fucks.
what the shit is wrong with you that you're getting your news on mmo-champion.com and care about how facebook is moderated?
>>2337816
Well I would have posted the FB link directly, but it didn't let me.
And MMOChampion is a pretty good resource for news and stuff.
Look at this fucking thing. How can such a hilarious looking creature even exist? I'm at a loss for words, this thing is amazing.
It's a deep ocean dweller and what you see here is its pulverized/decompressed corpse.
