Hello, few weeks ago there was this custom made figure in a header of the thread, female toy figure and it had really amazing wings and cool attachment placed on her, also url fowarded me to a japanese site I did not understand, I would like to find this model again.
1. parts were added from another toys I believe
2. url linked to a japanese site
3. picture was posted few weeks ago
4. toy had super large wings
please help me
instead of giving us literally one piece of physical description, draw it in MSPaint
>>6367473
I can't I can only say it was nothing I seen before, this female figure had amazing wings and like futuristic shapes, not just wings
>>6367484
okay guess you don't want to know what it was bad enough then
Figures of obscure barbaric characters are also acceptable.
I like these two and my ML Barbarian Builder, what else should I look out for?
Pic related, from WWE Elite 51. There's also a Create A Superstar pack with HHH as a barbarian.
>>6364737
>Create A Superstar
Damn, that Triple HHH is cool. Also found the Rock and he looks pretty good too, though more kinda more gladiator than barbarian. Still works imo.
Did someone say they wanted sweaty muscular men in loincloths?
You knoe who needs a new figure that isn't a fragile piece of shit like the old Resaurus figures?
I mean, there's the Skylanders one. Statueshit, sure, but it looks decent enough, and will probably become dirt-cheap if it's like any other Skylanders product.
First 4 is making Crash and Spyro. Still statueshit tho.

Sonic?
Old thread (>>6363472) is on autosage. Continue here.
What's your favourite Studio Ox design, /tfg/? Do you want to see more Studio Ox inspired toys?
>>6364941
one of these days they will make MP with accurate cartoon coloring and animation errors
>>6364941
Riddle me this Takarafags.
Takara paint scheme is pretty much identical to hasbro. Plastic colours slightly more saturated than hasbro's more washed out looking layout.
£50 more for takara on kapow.
Literally why buy the takara version.
I'm looking to get a Dr. Strange for my shelf- any recommendations?
Alternatively, wizard thread- post figures of mages.
>>6350035
Pretty much the Mezco one:12 looks like your best bet.
>>6350039
>stand for flight and levitation poses
>astral form effect
>two different spell effects
>swappable open and closed amulets
Awesome as that all sounds, 12" stuff has never really been my scene.
What about the Marvel Universe Stranges- are they any good?
>>6350122
Mezco is 6" scale.

So I preordered Delphina and saw that some accessories were unlocked in during the KS run. Not familiar with all this, but I assume she comes with all the stuff that was unlocked? Or is that a separate thing?

This doesn't include the alternate heads(that delphina comes with ) as it was written before it reached that goal i think.
For the most part you miss out on some generic swords and spears on most of the stretch goal weapons.
I'm really excited for the new line. I have a Templar Knight or whatever, I just bought it for the Deus Vult, but I'm gonna pre-order the Iron Knight and maybe Delphina. Should I?
So my old anime merchandise isn't selling. It's crappy stuff like an Edward Elric bobblehead doll or Toonami licensed Tenchi Muyo figures like in this pic. I feel weird donating this stuff to my local thrift store run by little old ladies.
Do specialty thrift stores exist for anime toys? Or even thrift stores for video game/comic book/nerd culture in the USA? Or just send this crap to the thrift store run by the little old ladies?
>>6364435
Call local comic shops and ask if they'd be interested.
You got pictures? And would you be willing to give some away to anons? Lol
>>6364435
It's not weird at all OP.
Best find in my entire life was when I was visiting family in the middle of Bumfuck Wyoming, in this teeny tiny little town of about 2000 people. We went to the town yardsale one afternoon and I found a huge cardboard box full of Ultra Brothers/Kaiju/Kamen Rider vinyl figures. About 25 of them, which I picked up for ten bucks.
The guy selling them said that they belonged to a tenant who worked at the nearby power plant a couple of years earlier, who'd just up and skipped town. He had no clue as to what they were and just wanted to get them out of his shed.
So yeah, If a local comic shop doesn't want them, take them to a thrift store. There may be some poor anime junkie that just might get the surprise of their lives.
Old thread is dead.
Post your base modes here.
>>6363472
I don't have voyager Prime yet. But thats a pretty kickass base mode.
>>6363472
>>6363163
I have the g1 styled one from the same shapeways creator. It's alright. If you get rid of Galvatron's stock mask you can store the helmet in his belly in altmode.
Who here would buy 1/12 scale G.I. Joes?
I'm disappointed this hasn't happened yet.
Snake Eyes and G.I. Joe Resolute Cobra Commander would be KILLER.
>>6363230
The problem with it is that the collectors who want 6" GI Joe figures mostly just want Snake Eyes and some of the villains. A large part of the appeal of GI Joe is the variety of the team members and the vehicles. And it wouldn't sell well enough to get any vehicles.
I mean, I'd buy 6" Joes. But it'd last 2-3 waves then peter off when the superhero 6" fans have the half dozen figures they wanted out of the line.
>>6363246
I think that army buildser could work.
Not many semi realistic military army builder figures in the 1:12 scale, so it could fill in an important hole.
>>6363293
>I think that army buildser could work.
Not when the figure is $30 a piece.
>>6363230
>Who here would buy 1/12 scale G.I. Joes?
I would probably buy a few characters that I really, really liked as a kid.
But I don't collect 1/12 otherwise so that would be it. I'm already on the fence about letting 99% of my 1/18 go.
Does anyone else /travelfig/? I usually bring a few figures with me when I travel, just to either fidget with them or take pics. If so, what figs do you take, and why did you take those specific figs/toys?
Pic related, I'm visiting my parents and I took these two figs. Personally I love the Black Series.
I slip this guy into my pocket on a few occasions so I have something to fuck around with. It's pretty durable, made of a softer plastic so I'm not worried about any damage. It's kinda fun for its size.
Fiance got the nice camera as the gift, so I settle for a shitty cell phone camera. The idea of being able to snap a quality pick on the go has always appealed to me though.
>>6363204
traveling with toys is/was stressful
>I remember as a kid my family drove to Disney for vacation, I brought with me a really cool spider-man figure.
>That spidy was my favorite toy at the time. Play with it the entire car ride and back.
>Stop at a rest stop to pee
>Take Spidy with me
>Put him on top of the urinal
>finish peeing and go to wash my hands
>get back in the car
>30 mins pass
>wtf where is my toy
>remember I left him at the rest stop
>beg my parents to turn back
>nah nigga
>cry a little
>get home
>my spidy is hanging at the top of the stair case railing
>super happy tell my parents that he swung home
>wtf are you talking about go to sleep its like 1 at night
>sleep with spidy
sorry for my shit story
>>6363204
Was thinking about this.
Just bought a few 1/6 figures and will probably move out to another country in a few months. Do you guys have any experience taking your statues/toys with you in flights?
So I've never bought a figma before, but I've seen them in display cases and they look really good. This figure would be my first figma purchase. Buuuut it's expensive as hell and I'm not sure if an old figure like this is worth it, especially when the current Berserk anime gives chance for an improved figure like the what they did with Saber 2.0.
What do I do, /toy/? Come and help this retard out, because money is a precious thing.
It's never getting a reissue.
>>6361844
A boy can dream can't he?
>>6361842
Just don't get it. I use to have this figure. I love Berserk but I sold mine cause this thing is a bitch and a half to pose around and a lot of it is cause of the cape and the torso joint falling out every god damn time you try to pose him. It wasn't worth the frustration at $80 it's def not worth it at $140. I would've kept this figure if it wasn't for those two glaring flaws. Really wish the could've made the cape cloth or atleast poseable.
Why is there so little demand for a fat male 1:6 figure?
Shit, those some love handles.
>>6361835
I can't remember the name, but there is a Japanese figure of a fat guy in his undies coming out soon.

Thread Challenge: colors are overrated, a silly passing fad. Build gray things.
>>6361466
>Build gray things.
That's a bley thing.
>>6361473
well I plan a somewhat large tank, and considering the size of the tracks, 3-4 stud wide wheels are perfectly reasonable
>>6361476
Maybe this?
WE MADE A HUGE "BRIO" RAILWAY :D
Two "men" became boys for a day and a night, time well wasted ;)
The long straight is about 65m, and in total we expect to have build about 500m of railway.
It was quite dark when we called it a day, but we made a (out of focus) video of the project:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYbXH1r24t0
A better focused version from the other end is also avaible, starts about 6:30:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFwl1fPOJ28
The bricks are part of an art project, they are not real "brio", but oversized and with text (one word) ingraved into every single brick - Art project by Anders Bonnesen from Denmark and part of an exhibition in and around the building.
I was about to be like "Oh, well done".. BUT, WHAT?! How fucking long did that just take?!
Not sure if im to be impressed or scared
>>6360480
Thanks :D
In effective time i guess we only used about 6 hours (We were two building).
Added another picture with more details :P
I'm so excited! They're finally here!
But shit snacks this thing is huge and I have nowhere to safely display it because cats.
