>burgers are so afraid of roundabouts their traffic engineers actually came up with this
A nation of clowns.
That's called half of a freeway exit/entrance system you poofter
Or is that all on one level? Because I have never seen or heard of that, but they've been putting in a number of roundabouts here.
>>16847938
That's all one level, it's called a "jughandle" apparently. Wikipedia says they're common in New Jersey.
>>16847901
Looks fine to me.

What's up /o/, do any of you know how I can make a C6 Corvette sound like an F1 car? Something like an lp640 Murcielago, or a Zonda? Is there any exhaust on the market that would come close?
>>16847879
Exhaust notes don't work like that. F1 engines are small displacement, use incredibly light pistons, and are DOHC, so they rev to like 20000 rpm. They're also flat plane instead of crossplane (older v8 F1 cars, not new v6s). You will not be able to get the vette to sound anything like an F1 car, just appreciate it for what it is and get a magnaflow, flowmaster, etc system for it. Ditto for lambo/Zonda/etc
>>16847879
you'd have to heavily destroke the engine
>>16847908
This. You won't get an LS sounding like a zonda, but engines like the v10 from the E60 M5, V12 from some mercs (SL65 etc.) might get you close with some header and exhaust work.
You won't, however, have it sounding like an F1 car. A slower-revving one with a shorter redline, maybe?
I just went on my very first driving test, /o/.
It was pretty good.

Hey /o/.
I'm looking for a car in the 12k-15k range. This will be my daily driver, so reliability is very important. I plan on modifying this car, but nothing crazy at all, mostly suspension/brakes/wheels so I can have fun in the canyon roads near me. I have a big boy job, but I refuse to have a car payment every month.
>LS1 F-body
>07-09 Mustang GT
>C5 Corvette
I don't mind Japanese cars, but many of them have drift taxes and are beat up. Any other suggestions?
>>16847676
None of those cars are good as daily drivers bro..
>>16847676
>daily driver
>reliability important
>F-body
uh
>Mustang
anon
>Corvette
ughhhh
Well, at least F-body parts are cheap and easy to find when they break?
>>16847676
What would make any of those cars less reliable than a shitty GM econobox?
My friend take his yaris to the shop more than my Audi.

do any of them own cars?
>>16847583
No. They just discuss who has the biggest and thickest loads, while sharing their latest cum tributes.
>$2100 fine from red light camera
>according to photos light was only red for 0.5 seconds when all wheels were over white line
>photo shows car braking hard (mad nose dive) on steep decline, so obvious that had been braking since light went yellow
>second photo shows car not even half a car length from position in first photo, but states that the light was red for 1.2 seconds at that time
>intersection was already blocked with other cars
Looking EVERYWHERE online the maximum fine for blasting through a red light is like $540, and thats through a school zone according to the rms nsw homepage!
Calling traffic lawyer on monday to contest this bullshit. What the actual fuck.
Funfact, according to mathematics I was moving at 20km/h +/- 3km/h to cover the distance between .5 seconds and 1.2 seconds.
I have a chance to have this dismissed or at the very fucking least reduced to something other than two fucking thousand dollars.. Right?

Actually I really like it. It's easily the most fun I've ever had driving a car, including the 94 z28 I had when I was 17. The biggest issue have is that I'm just over 6ft tall and 225 and the people I work with make jokes that it looks like a clown car watching me climb in and out of it
I work at a BP gas station and I get a 10cent/litre discount.
>never bothered tanking bp fuel
Are premium brands a meme or am I meme'ing myself by not tanking premium fuels? I drive a NA mx5.
Dunno, we don't have BP around here but I've read yesterdays thread about premium fuel and found out several things:
>Shell is the w o r s t fuel I can buy in my yuro country
>The official forum for my car has a consensus to tank whatever you have in the manual, so if you have 95RON like me then go for 95RON etc.
>If you want to take extra care of the engine then go for the prescribed RON number and choose a gas that has no ethanol in it but instead has synthetic additives. But beware that your fuel consumption might go up and the engine power might even go slightly down.
Ethanol free is where it's at
>>16849340
shit, i've been putting 85% ethanol in my car. what now?
This may seem like a dumb contest to some of you but everyone else id appreciate the input.

I can't afford one.

Anything is possible with enough time, skill, and money.
You'd have to multiport fuel inject it, and program the computer to drop cylinders.
Done and done.
>>16847273
yeah i was thinking just having switches put in in the dash. The car I'll modify is and Ford Falcon XD, from the early eighties. So no decent car computer here. Anyone have some good diagrams as to how it might work?
