>burgers are so afraid of roundabouts their traffic engineers actually came up with this
A nation of clowns.
That's called half of a freeway exit/entrance system you poofter
Or is that all on one level? Because I have never seen or heard of that, but they've been putting in a number of roundabouts here.

That's all one level, it's called a "jughandle" apparently. Wikipedia says they're common in New Jersey.

Looks fine to me.

I live right next to one. What's the big deal? It works ok except for rush hour since nobody knows how to merge without coming to a complete stop.
There are a lot of roundabouts going in, especially in Pennsylvania.

A roundabout in Paris with no lane markings is more efficient than this shit.
At least they don't have double mini roundabout
clover leafs don't do well for giving space to accelerate and merge into traffic. Especially if you are in a heavy truck. heavy trucks also have harder times slowing down when exiting into a clover leaf.

What the fuck am I looking at

This. It blows my mind that more and more places are adopting them when they have perfectly good on/off ramps already
