pic related but not his car
>>16845283
Why would you want it?
They were horrible.
>tfw father in law will be giving me a 914 when he dies
I plan on just selling it.
How old is his son?
>>16845283
felate him
Hey /o/ what is your go cheap four seater convertible. I'm doing my research but I have no idea what I am looking at or for when it comes to used convertibles at around the ~$3,000 mark.
I am basically using this as a summer "bring the bros and girls to the beach" sorta ride.
3000 will open you to risks.
See if you can find an e36 in good condition with updated cooling system. Could also look at Saab 900s and 9-3s.
Mustang is also an option.
>>16845251
what kind of risks are we talking about?
I don't want to spend too much in case I get bored or something
>>16845251
I can confirm with Mustang
I got this foxbody 1992 for $2950 with 81,000 miles on it
Faimly friend is willing to give me a 97' Toyota Corrolla but the clutch is shot and the seatbealt is broken. The damage seen to the front has since been repaired but not the clutch or seatbelt. I was saving to buy a car but this could be cheaper, although I have never driven a stick shift. I have experince riding quads and motorbikes so manual transmissions are not new to me. It has 150,000 miles and runs smoothly, no leaks that I could find. Is this car worth fixing?
>>16845142
>Free car
>Only mechanical problem is the clutch
OP, this is a no-brainer
>>16845142
The frustration of spending money on parts and then doing your own repairs might not be worth it desu
>>16845142
Take it in and get the clutch worked on if you don't want to work on it. Would make a great shitbox.
Are new Corolla's good cars?

That's a lamborghini...

Londonistani here, just passed my driving test, looking to get a car that I can buy off of a used car selling website, gets decent mpg and would be able to handle driving across Europe on those long ass no mph limit roads (autobahns essentially) for hours at a time, low maintenance and decent on the insurance, I'm 20 btw

Have fun with 9k/year insurance quotes.

Leave or don't drive.
It's simple, you roll and the last three digits of your post correspond to a page in the book.
The car pictured in that specific page is your new Alfa Romeo.
>There are 317 pages so if you roll a higher digit we'll consider only the last two numbers
>If in a specific page there is more than 1 car pictured then the last digit of the post will tell if your car is the top picture (1 to 3), central picture (4 to 5), bottom picture (6 to 9) or if it's your choice (0).
>You're not allowed to roll again but you can do it if a page doesn't contain a picture of a car
Ready? Go.
Rolling for the Arna

Page 16: Alfa 24 hp
OP here: roll.
So I was browsing local classifieds as is normal when bored and started wondering, is there actually such a car as a "forever car"
What do i mean by this? Simply, a car you can buy at a young age (say 16-25) and have it run reliably, comfortably, enjoyable and cheap.
Then be able to start modifying/altering the car for maybe less reliability or comfort but a much more enjoyable ride without spending ridiculous money when you're able to afford a decent daily, without ever feeling the need/necessity to sell the car.
So what I come to you today with is a question - what would you pick as your "forever" car?
Pic - moog's forever car
W123 Benz diesel
>>16844934
volkswagen beetle
not to be confused with the new beetle
90% of VW drivers in yuropoor are muslims. I wonder what Adolf thinks of this.
>>16844930
>bulksvagen
>>16844930
>>16844930
And 90% of VWs are in use as taxis. So?
Haven't had a good keys thread in awhile.
Post your keys and get unfairly judged
>>16844826
How many cars do you have?
>>16844912
Only two. The fob isn't a key, It's for the remote start.
>>16844826
Why is no one posting keys????????
What does /o/ think of the future of automotive design? Minimalism and futurism are becoming standard, look at the new Toyotas or Hyundais
most of these will exist within 1-3 years
>>16844811
Everything will be hybrid and have an overly aggressive "500 hp" face. Try-hards might dig it but I'm kinda worried. Too many manchildren doing car design now
>>16844825
Agreed, but I'm thinking that this is the norm because no one wants to take risks and create the modern Pontiac Aztek. Expect this to continue until "startup" brands enter the scene.
I like minimalism. My favorite designs are simple and geometric.
It's why I like the 2005-2009 Mustang so much. I do like the rear of the new Mustang, but the front still seems a little too busy, even on the restyling.
Hey /o/, sorry if this is out of place but I've got a problem with this one fucker who goes to my school and drives super recklessly. He (I think) has passed me on my way home on a 35mph back-road going probably 80, even while the roads are still icy after a snowstorm.
I've been thinking of calling the school to report him, but I don't have the plate (moving too fast) and don't want to Snoop around campus to find him. The stupid thing is this guy literally lives about half a mile away from where he feels the need to pass me, and I know exactly where he lives.
Is there anything I can do? Or do I just have to suck it up and try to protect myself and hope he ends up getting caught by a cop?
wait until he tries to pass you then match his speed so he cant
>>16844588
You can go ahead and report it to the non-emergency line for your local police department if you really are that big of a bitch. If you have a pair confront him and punk him out
holy shit you should consider killing yourself you dickless basterd, fuck this OP made me cringe
Do you have one? What would you get if you did?
Help me pick one out for my car if you're bored.

I always wanted something like this.
>>16844313
Vanity plates are cringe as fuck dude. Don't do it unless you enjoy looking like a massive faggot
>>16844319
Are they? I breathe quickly out of my nostrils a little when I see something kinda funny. I mean obviously stuff like 4U2NV or BOOST is cringe material, but I've seen some I liked.
