Would you buy this truck for 1500 cash? Its a 2000 F250 with 250k miles, 5.4L Triton. She's fucking ugly as hell , inside and out, but the engine is super clean and she runs like a champ. She'll definitely need some work(not to run), but I'd have to replace the truck gate, windshield, and one of the seats... Am I being a fucking idiot? I need something to haul around my bikes/work truck

Picked up a 97 LX Sedan 5spd Y7 off a friend that wouldn't run, got it running a couple days later. Not sure what i want to do with it. It's missing mirrors & back bumper and a little rusty but for 300$ not bad. Want to get into a motorsport but idk if this is the car i want to do it in. Was going to autocross my integra this year but i'm liking the idea of stripping the cheap car and doing whatever i want to it more. Already have tokico Illuminas & 315r/380f GC's for the integra but can always adapt them to the Civic. I am also interested in other motorsport but that seems to be the most accessible/economical.

Hi friends. The season is almost upon us once more and Brit/o/ is having its first race track meet of the year.
This isn't the music festival type meet discussed in the past threads, this one is more autistic, no sideshows or louts and just racing/camping. There are some food stalls.
Join us on April 7th at Shakespeare County Raceway in Warwickshire.
Standard procedure really, turn up, drink, insult each others cars, reattach Sam's bumper/splash guard/sump every few hours. We're also running some drag racing competitions, there'll be two trophies available. The Best Toyota trophy will be awarded by the president and the Shitbox Cup trophy will mark the best Micra or Starlet on the strip. Cars and bikes that aren't desperately slow will have a different scoring system.

Seeing as how modern day cars are getting more and more computerized fin almost every aspect (touchscreens, computerized engines, etc), what will happen when these cars become classics? How would someone even begin to be able to repair an electronic bug or glitch? How do you even replace major electronics? Might be a stupid question, but my only experience with working on cars comes from my 2001 Dodge Dakota.
