Help me /k/ I think I started wheezing when I saw this.
I think I found my raifu should I do this?
Before anyone says anything about the stock I'm in California so I'd have to have it that way.
>>34204570
Since you're in California why not?
Personally I'd put the money towards moving out of California.
>>34204588
Well I'm not moving anytime soon really, so I may as well if I'm here for a few years.
>>34204570
If you can afford it, why wouldn't you?
where do i buy bullets that can do this? my dad likes to shoot at a far shots and he might want good snipper bullets for fathers day.
>>34204310
Just use SABOT ammo, it's even better than that fake shit

Look up Match Ammunition and find his caliber lad. Write a little note on the box too :3
Glock Perfection
Hi, i have seen this image detailing all the sks variants and their differences here multiple times, but i have never saved it. I however need it now, so if any of you have it.... much appreciated.

nvm found it in my /out/ folder for some reason. Thanks anyway.

ive always wondered, what brand of 1911 is this?
Anyone got any good compares for 300 win mag vs 338 Lapua. I'm thinking about getting a Savage 110 BA. I've always been a fan of distance shooting and want to get into 500+ yards. Looking for some advice.
Bumping with doggo
>>34203160
>500+ yards
Get the .300WM. Better still, get a 7mm Rem Mag, or a 6.5CM.
The utility of the .338 isn't yet realized at these distances. $90 a box, and frankly the cartridge demands an extremely heavy and well built rifle to perform well.
>>34203160
unless ur taking large game with this @ 500+ go with 6/6.5 creedmoor its cheaper and will be good from 100-1400yds while costing significantly less per shot, less recoil so you can trace your shots to target and has a bit better bbl life compared to 300wm, by about 500-1500rounds depending on your shooting schedule.
>professional murderers don't have weapons
K.
In a practical sense, I can't see any way they're superior to a pump gun. Besides the critical roles, though, they work just fine. I have a SxS hammer fired one for literally no other reason than it's cool.
>>34202956
Practically, no. Aestheticlly hell yeah!
if you like them, i don't see why it wouldn't be worth it. i hunt pheasant with a sxs .20 and wouldn't use another gun because it's very light and custom made for me, i am crazy accurate with it. no practical advantages, but if you like it, go for it.

Nice I have a few sets of orginal od, flakjacket, helmet and a repro second pattern set
I've got a SIG Sauer M400E that I tossed a Seekins Precision free float keymod rail onto like 5 years ago. I don't shoot my AR that often, and I've grown to like the A1 and A2 style of AR platform more and more.
I might sell off my high speed low drag AR to swap it for an older style one. I really want to find an A1 style AR, but it's tough to find one sub $1500. Any recommendations for an A1 or A2 style AR? I've been looking at Windham Weaponry's A2 model, and for $800, it's a pretty good price.
Thoughts?
>>34202769
Look into building one.
>>34202785
You really think that'd be the best option?
self bump before i let the thread die
>tfw finally about to become guns at 26
>live in NJ
>have RINO mom who is so fucking anti no guns under my roof bullshit
>take an extra year a college graduate at 23
>get a shit job only making like $28k a year for a year
>quit, spend about 9 months unemployed
>get a nice new job but contract will run out after a year so don't move despite now making $50k
>Just turn 26
>just got a job offer for $58k, got another interview lined up for $65k, decided to get tinder and for some reason bitches are all talking to me and matching me(still haven't pulled a date on it though).
I wonder what I should get as my first gun. I am thinking either a mossberg 500 or a police surplus 870
Any other about to be new gunz?
What gun should I buy?
Everyone give your thoughts on what guns you're eyeballing. Everyone give suggestions on which gun to buy.
I posted this in another thread, but looking to reach a wider audience. Here's what I'm looking for
>revolver
>.357 or .44 mag (since I have a rifle in .44 mag)
>not snub nosed
>max budget is $650
Was looking at this
http://www.txmgo.com/index.php/shop/guns/product/101-semi-auto-m16a1-replica
Or an SLR 107.
Decisions decisions...
>>34202736
.357 is cheaper but other than that, I dont know much about revolvers, sorry man
I dont know If I should get a carry gun first or a cold war raifu.
looking at a cz75d compact, cz 82/83, or a sig p232
OR a nice tula SKS. alternatively a lightly beat up yugo I can do some gunsmithing on or a vz.52 I can re-barrel for 6.5 grendel
it will be my first gun outside of an old savage durr rifle, and I'm looking at a $650 max as well
I want to scratch the falling block itch so I was thinking a Ruger No. 1. Should I look for one in a fuckhuge expensive big game cartridge for the novelty or a .308 which would be much more affordable to plink with?
hey /k/ should I get a pm 63 parts kit?
No.
t. got one and worked for a while on it. want to buy it off of me?
if you want to know why I can elaborate
>>34202241
Please do

>if you go the rifle route, a 16" barrel looks kinda fugly. Opinion, but whatever.
>You need to buy two/three receivers to get the correct overlap between the cut chunks. Even then, get ready for an assload of filing - a metric assload - which will royally fuck the finish in places that are hard to refinish i.e. inside the rails
>you will need to drill and tap a firing pin hole liner, since the removable fixed firing pin is too wide and will lead to blown primer holes
>unlike other kits where the firing pin hole can be drilled with a simple lathe jig as the bolt is roundish, the pm63 slide necessitates a drill press. Also, you either get to buy a 10" bit extendo doodad and visually make sure you hit the right spot, or you buy a smaller bit and make an educated guess going in from the rear shrouded end.
>practically zero - zerroooo - room for a trigger transfer bar. You can pull a t94 and have it exposed, or have it be really, really thin. The positioning of the transfer bar then means you have little mechanical advantage with the trigger pull, so your trigger mechanism will be dodgy as fuck
>welding the sucker together is a hellish challenge, due to the rails and other thin, easily warped but critical components. These things were not designed to be loose.
>the new production barrels require fitting to your specific lugs
>plastic is cheap. Gets really slick if it is at all oily
>have to design a firing pin which integrates the rate reducer components, as the thickness of the wall between the rate reducer housing and the boltface does not allow for a traditional firing pin OR hammer setup. You are basically left with a striker system with the reducer assembly and a protruding firing pin. THEN, since you can't exactly get the sear to catch when the slide reciprocates *before* the slide is rearward enough to pick up a new round, jt is v e r y unsafe
>the stock sucks
>the slide assembly is much too light for non open bolt function. The thing it...
What type of weapons would the Italian army in Ethiopia be armed with in 1895?

What's up /k/,
Just got my old CETME back from sending it to a gunsmith for the first time since I've owned it.
Ask me anything
Picture of the work area

What did the gunsmith do to it?
I know nothing about them but they look cool and I like CZ. Is it a meme gun or should I get it?

It's not common that people show interest in the rifle version. From what I understand it's a good gun though, it's on my to-buy list.
