What gun should I buy?
Everyone give your thoughts on what guns you're eyeballing. Everyone give suggestions on which gun to buy.
I posted this in another thread, but looking to reach a wider audience. Here's what I'm looking for
>revolver
>.357 or .44 mag (since I have a rifle in .44 mag)
>not snub nosed
>max budget is $650
Was looking at this
http://www.txmgo.com/index.php/shop/guns/product/101-semi-auto-m16a1-replica
Or an SLR 107.
Decisions decisions...

.357 is cheaper but other than that, I dont know much about revolvers, sorry man
I dont know If I should get a carry gun first or a cold war raifu.
looking at a cz75d compact, cz 82/83, or a sig p232
OR a nice tula SKS. alternatively a lightly beat up yugo I can do some gunsmithing on or a vz.52 I can re-barrel for 6.5 grendel
it will be my first gun outside of an old savage durr rifle, and I'm looking at a $650 max as well
I want to scratch the falling block itch so I was thinking a Ruger No. 1. Should I look for one in a fuckhuge expensive big game cartridge for the novelty or a .308 which would be much more affordable to plink with?

sp101 3"

I've got a S&W 686+. I like it.
INB4 - but muh Hillary Hole!
Bugger off, doesn't bother me.

If you don't care about the hilhole then 686 or 686+
If you do, gp100
If you would consider used, hunt a security/speed six or an old k frame like a 65 or 13, or a 686

Lol wait til the lock breaks and you have an overpriced paperweight. Should've gotten an older model
I'm looking for a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in in 6.5x55 SE. My budget is $2000 max. I was planning on camo painting for different environments. Since I need to be able to easily strip paint off it without causing finish damage, I think a synthetic stock and stainless barrel/receiver would be a smart choice. Is the Sako Finnlight my only real option in the US market?
I don't know how well blued or parkerized surfaces hold up to paint stripping solvents and mild abrasives. If they're tough enough it will definitely expand my choices.
