I need some help identifying the markings on the Norinco SKS I acquired today. As best as I can figure from online resources it was produced in 1957. I am curious about the K stamped on the stock and and what the G2 after the serial number means.
Anyone else on here wear combat gear and carry weapons as a job? I see a lot of politically driven fookers, but i wanna connect with my true operator bros.
Pic related: me operating

So you just stand around all day?

Somehow I did the math and ended up with #1

The one with the most Punisher skull stencils on it.
Hi /k/, /x/fag here, we have a situation in England, read up on this and see if you guys could help us find this "Doctor" guy, or OP?
None of those things happened

I got this message trying to sign up for GunBroker. Anyone else? Should I give them this info?
>>34216549
>giving (((gunbroker))) your address, name, and other info
>>34216549
>should
probably not but its unavoidable.

If you don't, they'll lock your account and you won't be able to make a new one.
Alright /k/, I've been looking for a backpack for EDC, and have narrowed it down to the LA Police Gear Three Day Assault Pack 2.0, the LA Police Gear Operator Backpack, and the LA Police Gear Atlas 24 hour backpack.
I'm looking to be able to fit a ~7x8x3.5 lunch box, v-moda m100 headphones, a laptop, a 40 oz thermoflask (poorfag hydroflask), and maybe an AR upper and lower. Is the PVC liner good enough for being in the rain for an hour or two?
I know these molle backpacks are autistic, but I can't really find anything else with the features and capacity I want. Does anyone have any experience with LA Police Gear backpacks?
Share your recipes.
Sure ATF, lemme just get the juicy automatic pictures lined up.

is that homemade ammo?
Where would I go about purchasing the rig/belt (sorry, idk what to call it) these Boers are wearing? I need it for a Military Through The Ages event.
Looks like either bandoliers or just Mauser ammunition belts that they threw over their shoulders.
>>34216056
Pretty sure it is bandoliers though i also want more info.... Saffer bumping for more info
>>34216405
Any sort of leather mauser Bandolier will do. The Swedish Mauser ones tend to be undamaged and online, though quite expensive, you could also look into old British gear like the P1903 webbing.
We all heard of a gun for beginners but what would be a gun for experience shooters?
what do you consider to be the best hand gun, the one at the top that has no equal.
I'd argue a good 1911. Once people get more experience and understand the inner workings of a pistol the 1911 is a lot of fun to work on.

Hey there /k/, it's /tg/. Quick and hopefully simple weapons question.
Is there a significant amount of difference in training time or complexity involved in learning how to use different kinds of bows?
Like, if I know how to use ye classic English Longbow, would be be reasonably proficient with shorter bows as well? How about any significant difference between the training in the usage of a self/simple bow verses a composite bow?
Thanks in advance.
I shoot longbow, recurve, and compound, and there wasn't really a severe learning curve between each one. Took about a day to two days to get comfy
>>34216080
Thanks. If you're curious, I'm looking over the D&D weapons table for 5th edition and wondering if there's a meaningful reason to make shortbows a "simple" weapon, verses longbows a "martial" one.
>>34216116
most likely because of the potential damage output.
Is "practicality" overrated? You aren't reasonably going to be disadvantaged in a defensive situation just because you decided to be a snowflake and opted for a gun that wasn't a Glock or AR-15.
Pic kinda related but not limited to it because dozens of perfectly viable and widely used calibers and firearms get disparaged because of "muh performance" and it's just obnoxious as fuck.
These assholes act like it's impossible to defend yourself against a mugger with a double action revolver or that a person can't reasonable defend their home with a pistol caliber carbine.
You can dig a canal with a spoon but that doesnt mean its the best or most efficient way to do so. When it gets beyond a certain point good enough is good enough though but there will always be a best tool for any given job. Arguing that personal choice isnt as important as the right tool is just as stupid as arguing that it is when both are moot points in most situations.
What hoops do you have to jump thru to legally put a suppressor on your gun?
>>34215489
lots of them
ask your local gun store
look at atf.gov website
in USA
>>34215489
Go find a local distributor that sells suppressors. They want your money and will walk you through every step.
>>34215489
Get 200 bones give to ATF wait wait wait wait get suppressor.
It's not too hard, any dealer will walk you through.
