started playing player unknowns battlegrounds
new to zeroing distances (its in the game)
is this a bullshit waste of time when you can just aim higher to hit far targets?
We once shot my 10-22 at a little over 600 yards or so (across the pond) in steady 5 mph winds. The coot shaped stumps we shot at where toward the bottom left of the scope. As the wind would gust and the coot stumps floated further from bombardment you had to put them at the very bottom of the scope and then go up and to the right to hit close (not in sight picture)
If you want to shoot far sight in far.
(10/22 sighted at 100)
In a game where you can shoot third person and sight pictures are huge, zeroing doesn't matter. But when you have to aim the target out of your sight picture in real life, then it makes a difference.

It's easier to put a cross on a point than guess where the cross would be.
Zero at a distance you think combat will take place in, know your rounds general arc, adjust as needed.
Combat zeros are at 100M for a reason, combat takes place at about 30M on average, allowing you to aim dead center and more often than not tag the target in the chest.
Also you're playing a video game. Just take advantage of whatever mechanic gets you more kills.
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
You didn't have to be so rude about it...

Ah shit nigga, looks like you're in trouble.
So where exactly am I supposed to go to practice shooting at 100+ yards? The ranges near me max out at 100. Am I supposed to "know people"?
>>34196891
Pretty much. There's public land, but if it's innawoods probably hard to find hundreds of yards unobstructed. The desert would be a different story.
>>34196891
That sucks man, ive never even been to a range personally. I just drive out to the sandhills and shoot.
100 yards is pretty shit, thats pistol range when it comes to target practice.

Causalties: 3 dead and 12 injured two of which were hit in their homes.

From what i see the weapons used were all shotguns and from the small devastation i believe that only a bird shot was used.
Could anyone tell me if they recognize any firearms used?

>I want to discuss /pol/ bullshit but I don't know how so I'll just tangentially make a stupid gun question and hope for the best
to answer your question: those look like generic ass pump shotties
also, sage
Do those guys suck at guns or did they intend to not aim to kill?
A challenger appears, apparently the PPS M2 now has a low price like the Shield due to rebate.

Well would it?

Now to actually answer your question, no. Plasma is too hot. Will explain later.
>>34196547
It's slower than laser but hits harder, so it works great in you're fighting close range but otherwise lasers and bullets are better.
>when you just get in to guns but don't have the money to buy all the guns you want
Why live? Pic related.
Ever thought of getting a job?
>>34196354
I live in an anti 2A blue state. And the only gun license I can buy allows me only two guns that I can only take to a shooting range by car trunk. I am not allowed to carry them on me no matter what and they must remain unloaded unless I am physically inside a shooting range.
I am also not allowed to shoot a home invader unless he also has a gun. I am expected to run out of my own house if he just has a knife and since I can not legally carry I am expected to leave my guns behind, as a gift to the robber I suppose.
I know this feel. I'm still working a shitty retail job and need to cover health insurance in a month, and all these fucking great deals are just flying by me and I can't take advantage of them. I want a small carry gun, a 1911, another .22 because why not, a precision rifle, a shotgun, some sort of milsurp boltgun, and a full sized handgun for the nightstand, and I see great deals for all of these things, but I can't jump on them because I have other expenses to take care of. Shit fucking sucks.
I mean obviously it could be worse. I have all my bases covered. Once I get myself a Ruger LCP to pocket carry I'll pretty much be armed all the time, and an AR is pretty much all I need for HD and SHTF shit, but still...want guns that are just fun to shoot even if not fully practical but I can't afford it.
Why are these things so overpriced? Looking around they're apparently priced less in Europe, usually around 1000 Euros above but that price here is usually around $15K plus. Now the only "replica" I've seen is a shitty ""pistol"" copy from American Tactical with a decent price tag. Apparently Eastern Europe has a huge stockpile of this but hasn't released it yet because it would flood the market.
>>34196130
>650
>expensive
>>34196139
I was referring to the authentic MP40 being expensive, that copy is considered as a "pistol" by the manufacturers and even parts from a authentic MP40 doesn't work on it.
>>34196156
You're asking why a fucking NFA weapon is expensive? In the US?
a friend of mine said it is the Magupul APX but i can't find anithing. some one can tell me how many bullet per second it shoot?

is a Soft Air Gun, and we use it for Laser Tag milsim. just need the name for the game stats
Can someone please tell me what this ammunition firearm is used in/another more English friendly name for the caliber?
Inside is 3 stripper clips, 6 in each clip, spitzer projectiles, and the case head has a recess around the primer pocket (assumably for use in tubular magazine?)
Thanks /k/ommandos.

7.35mm Carcano, used in spaghetti action rifles
>>34195941
7,35 mm = 32 caliber
fuciili = rifle in eyetalian ?
>>34195941
you could literally just have googled what it says on there and found out its 7.35mm carcano
but yeah thats what it is, it's pretty rare and expensive ammo so look around for what it should be going for and sell it for that much
So i learned this was a thing and I want to jury rig one together for SHTF/Tittywalkies/CrescentRoll (I just want one).
I've already made one for the AR with a small ALICE, web gear and some duct tape.
I want something for the AK. I've got a PSAK47 and a Chicom Chestrig but no subsequent backpack.
I need suggestions, either cheap NVA/VC, PLA, and/or Russian shit that is the size of an US Assault Pack. Something that I won't feel bad about butchering.
I'lle ven take new age stuff just nothing expensive

What militaries all around the world have thrown away since the vietnam era - backpacks that attach to your LBE and dont have their own straps so they can be worn alone - is finally back as the hottest shit-solution for tacticool bumfucks.

how do tank platoons work?
imagine adorable tanks standing at attention before a parade and one one them locks their brakes and falls over holy heck that's a cute! :33
>>34195858
>>34195858
I'm by no means an expert but I remember my 9th grade history teacher was a tank platoon commander in the National Guard. His platoon had 4 Abrams and they would use teamwork and the power of friendship to achieve their goals.
