some gun collector died in my city and one of the pieces being auctioned off is a colt python silver snake. what should my max bid on it be?
Go one dollar above the last bid. Repeat as many times as needed or until you hit your personal price limit.

thanks
NIB never fired? 10k+++
Used in good condition? 6k+
pre-Obama administration marine here,
Why are officers even necessary?
They're worse than pogues. They can't shoot guns, they can't dig holes, they can't take objectives and they can't police streets. They're not even boots on the ground, unless you count drill parades.
Why do they even exist?
What do they do for the USMC?
Pic unrelated, just a funny Metal Gear Solid Three meme I found.
dank u 4 ur cervix
Say you were out in public and someone aimed a gun at you but you had superior speed and took them out first, would that be murder or self defense?
>>34212698
>Letting his dog walk out front
>using a retractable leash
I thougt John Wick loved his dog.
most likely self defense. A few states have a duty to retreat where, if safely possible, you're obliged to run rather than fight. However the "if safely possible" can be flexible and can also account for someone you're defending. Walking with your grandma who can't run? No duty to retreat. In a corner or fenced off? No duty to retreat. In those cases it'd likely be deemed self defense.

better judged by 12, than carried by 6
Alright /k, I have the opportunity to buy a blued
Smith and wesson 29-3. Its a 6 inch barrel.
How do you guys feel about 6 inch barrels vs 4 inch? Should I wait for a 4
>>34211973
Longer is better anon...
You arent going to C&C a fucking revolver are you?
>>34211973
Unless you're going to be carrying it a 6" is fine. If it's a good price go for it. Pre-Clinton S&Ws are great guns.
>>34211973
GET IT. 100% GET IT
Whats the best rifle a guy could get for around $350? I'm looking for something chambered in .308, but I'll settle for something less. Preferably with a wooden or polymer stock. Thanks guys.
>Also,
This is my first major gun buy.
Ruger American Predator. Going to be the best one for the $.
Savage Axis II or Ruger American Rifle. Either are fine guns, and can be found in that price range.
Well, you certainly wouldn't be getting an alloy or carbon stock for $350 so that's a moot point isn't it.
Sup /k/
Just traded my s&w SD40VE for a Remington 783 .30-06, with a case, scope, bipod, laser bore sight, and some ammo. Did I do alright? Are these rifles any good? Really wanted a .308, but this guy was down to trade so I said fuck it
Pic is part of my arsenal before the Remington was added, feel free to ask about anything. Will post pics of the rifle in a sec
Post about it, especially webms and images.
No /pol/. Post videos, post-nuke blast infantry tactics, maps, files, webms, pics, equipment, and any and all types of nukes; improvised, ICBMs, artillery, tactical, small, big, etc. Please post about nuclear programs from countries other than the U.S. and Russia due to interest.
What does /k/ think of bowie knives? I like my Schrade SCHF45 Leroy.
Magpul CTR haver here.
Recently I got to shoot some guy's SOPMOD stock and it felt pretty nice having that slope. Is there some sort of product on the market that clips onto the side of my existing buttstock so I can have that slope too? Given the number of MOE and CTRs out there it seems like something of the sort should exist.
>>34211000
Not to my knowledge. Check out the Magpul SL-S stock
Magpul ACS-L or STR stock have those cheek pieces.
All the add-ons I've seen for the CTR bolt onto the top, not the side, so it'd put your eye too high for iron sight use.
>>34211088
They also get in the way of the charging handle.
Anyone know what a standard one of these is gonna be like?
>>34210634
CFA and AIM are notorious for talking up the quality of their Surplus.
Expect rust on the bolt and a crack on the wrist behind the tang. If you're willing to bite the bullet, you might get lucky.
I ordered a k11 carbine from them advertised as not cracked, but had a crack. It was on the upper handguard so no big deal, but no rust at least
>>34211323
I just want a basic shooter grade one and i'll be happy with that
https://www.nraila.org/articles/20170526/rep-rob-bishop-introduces-the-lawful-purpose-and-self-defense-act
Ya'll seen this shit? The bill removes the ATF's ability to make decisions based on sporting purposes. Do you think it'll pass? Will it make a difference if it will?
>>34210612
>Do you think it'll pass?
No, cuckservatives don't give two shits about gun rights. (((Ryan))) would never let it come up for vote.
>Will it make a difference if it will
Yes, it would allow importation of a shitload of currently prohibited handguns, and semi-auto military style long guns.
>>34210612
>inb4 it's deleted because "muh politics"
It's fucking neat though. I hope it passes but it won't, just like the hearing protection act
I don't care but the NC House approved the constitutional carry bill and I'm optimistic. They dropped handgun ownership to 18 though so it will probably get shitcanned like last year when they added a bunch of bullshit riders.
Just got the benjamin 392 and av intermount with weaver rail (see picture). What is a good scope to buy for under 50$?
Inb4 airgun fags gtfo... im a pussy whos afraid of real guns.
>afraid of a .22lr
>$50 scope
Give the gun back, Tyrone.
>>34210553
I have a BSA Sweet .22 scope on my Benjamin Marauder. Ended up working very well. $50 at Dick's.
>>34210843
Thanks richard...
Does anyone have a pic comparing pistol grip widths? I'm especially interested in seeing how a Beretta 92 and SIG P226 compare to a polymer 9mm.
Hey boys I got an HK91 and I'm having a friendly debate about if it can shoot .308 or just 7.62x51, any opinions?
>>34210412
It can do both.
>>34210429
Thanks man I'll take your word for it, hopefully it won't explode when I shoot it with .308 in 45 minutes
Try to keep it as close as possible to NATO spec though, I haven't had any problem with NATO spec 147 grain PMC, spanish milsurp or samson ( IWI ) 150 grain. If you go for hot loads, you might get decapitated cases.
