I imagine it is terrible for dueling.
If the opponent hits it out of his way and moves past the tip you'd have to drop it and ready something shorter because you're not backing up with your pike faster than the guy is charging you.

"Favelas" are urban spaces that were chaotically built into hills filled with jungle, slopes, narrow alleys and dumping grounds. To navigate on the maze, one's need mobility, heavy armour, for close quarters combat, but also speed to rush pass empty fields. Helicopters are vulnerable to the anti material rifles of the criminals and ground vehicles are too big to go out of main streets. Drug lords run entire armies with support from locals who will riot, barricade passages, and if killed by accident, will become political nightmares, as the press is against you. Fortunately, criminals relies on ak-47, and very few anti-material rifles. No RPGs or IEDs.
Currently, police forces are outnumbered and unable to outmanoeuvre the criminals who hides after every major operation just to pour back in after the cost of deploying the necessary manpower becomes unbearable.
In such scenario, would it be worthy to put proper ballistic armour on horses and "ride-by shooting" their positions? Both simpler and crazier suggestions, to solve this problem, are welcome.

I bought an Alice Pack Frame for carrying heavy stuff like hydraulics equipment, compressor, etc., geotechnics related things. Now I wonder: is there a maximum weight I can strap to that frame without it bending or breaking, or will the limit be my legs or back breaking? My field work junk weighs up to 50 kg / 110 lbs. Any soldiers here who know the frame's design capacity?

A frame shelf will help immensely. Good luck finding one though. If you are concerned about durability, tac tailor makes a welded frame that will probably stop a bullet or two.

Anyone familiar with private party transfers in CA? Couldn't pass up a purchase but the law requires two pieces of proof of residence, which have to match.
One is my driver's license, easy enough. Lease agreement is another (wasn't able to produce a utility bill as I was subletting and nothing else seems to work)
Problem is I have recently moved so it's not exactly a current address. Does that even matter?
Wanna dot all my Is and cross all my Ts in this god forsaken state.

So, glock 22 slide assembly or S&W bodyguard .380?
The slide assembly will allow me to finish a project(go from 8 projects to 7) and the bodyguard .380 would become my summer EDC (I had one before but traded it last fall. Regret it ever since. Winter carry is a Full size 9mm)

For the SKO-12 I have on pre-order I would just like nice front and rear irons
