Make the action cycle. Ive only every heard it used when referencing to FTF and FTEs, so I guess it doesn't apply to just cocking the gun.

Making the action of the weapon perform one complete operation cycle. Using the pistol in your OP as an example, a complete action cycle involves the slide going all the way to the rear, ejecting the empty casing from the weapon, then returning to it's original position, whilst stripping a new round out of the magazine, and inserting it into the chamber. In short, the gun going from ready to fire, to ready to fire again.

I've got this old dagger that my uncle gave me, the rubber handle has dried and hardened and fits sloppily now. I want to make a set of wood scales for it.
I think I'd like to go with a red toned wood. I'm going to woodcraft and another local woodworking shop soon to see what they've got.
Looking for tips, discussion, techniques. Whatever.

What ate some good strategies for fortifying a medium sized building, like an apartment building? Would something like this be viable in a SHTF scenario? How would you pull it off?

What threats are you facing? Angry dindus is one thing, a platoon of regular soldiers doing their own thing in Zombieland is another.
What are you spending? And willing to store until need? Improvise? How many defenders? Physical shape, willingness to work together, follow orders, etc. Other apartments forting up you can co-ordinate with?
What's the area like? Big parking lots surrounding the building versus say, dense woods coming right up to the back of the building, is it a nice, quiet area or is already a 'know a dozen cops by their first names because everyone is a shithead' places, etc.
Makes a difference between Pavlov's House 2.0 and Davidian Compound 2.0

Also, if you're going to try and post snipers, never put them on the roof.
You want them as far into the building as possible, shooting out of a curtained window or better yet a hole in the wall.

Hey /k/. /k/anadaanon also, my friend is looking is at a Norinco t97 NSR. Now im sure most of the /k/anadians on here only know about the T97NS which has the carrying handle ontop. But i cant find any differences about the two rifles except the carrying handle, and cant find anywhere on google or youtube about the differences between the two. Also it comes with an eotech sight ($900 apparently) might be a fake, flat top receiver mod, 2x 10 round ar pistol mags, 3x 5rd ar mags, and a bunch of ammo for $1100 maplebucks. Should he pull the trigger?

Hey /k/,
I don't often frequent this board, but I thought you guys would be the best to advise me on a matter I'm wondering about.
I'm an ausfag and recently purchased a lead loaded irish shillelagh from Ireland. It has only occurred to me after the fact, that this could be classed as a mace/other deadly weapon or potentially have issues getting through Australian customs because it's made of wood.
If any /k/ommandos could please advice me on the chances of actually receiving it I would be incredibly grateful.
