Depends, I'm a Catholic so I could foresee problems arising. Would definitely embrace the apocalypse with zealots of the Catholic, Orthodox, and possibly Mormon variety. Maybe Sikhs too if such a thing could even happen in the US.

Could the abundance of APC's, VBIED's and Lightly armored vehicles in modern combat open up a place for Heavy anti-tank rifles/light AT guns with modern sabot rounds in the armory of asymmetric/second rate armies?
pros
-Covers the range gap between Infantry AT weapons and ATGM's
-Vastly Cheaper and sustainable operating costs versus ATGM's etc.
-Accurate
-Can be mounted on light vehicles for shoot and scoot ability (even some ATV's)
-Useful against not just vehicles but hard points, infantry positions and could even be used in a long range counter sniper role provided sufficient range and accuracy.
-Effective against APS systems and HEAT deforming armor
Pic related is an Iranian Heavy AT/anti material rifle that weighs about 62 kg and fires 23mm shells up to 3-4km.

OP pic is the 2.8cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41, a light AT gun used by German paratroppers and light infantry, one even successfully penetrated a IS-1

So, I plan on becoming a pilot and am going to Embry Riddle this August, my favorite past time is shooting, is there anyway possible that I could take my guns with me out of state?
>>34667633
As long as they are legal in every state you travel through/to and its not for the express purpose of selling them, you're in the clear. Don't forget to look up proper transportation though, like cases, locks, cab or trunk, proximity to ammunition...
But what about storage, any idea on where I could store them since I'll be staying in a dorm?
>>34667633
Which one? The one in Florida or Arizona? I know Arizona has pretty lax gun laws but I'm not entirely sure about Florida
Allied pilots called her "The Double Headed Dragon" because of her ability to engage two targets at once
>>34667550
>>34667550
hows it going to get here though?
Back in vietnam we used to call this "Automatic killer 47" because it could kill 47 people with 1 clip
What's the most reliable gun on the market? The kind of gun you could drop, throw, use it as a hammer, run through any kind of conditions (be it salt water, sand, mud, clay), shoot 6 gorillion of north koreans, bash, smash, survive Stalingrad, purge Xenos from another dimension you name it. The kind of gun you will always trust your life with

Are the QE class Supercarriers?
>>34667028
>no photon torpedos
>>34667028
Yes according to the definition, now to commence shitposting.
>>34667028
>better automation than current and future carriers
>superior combat aircraft to anything used by current supercarriers.
>larger displacement than previous super carriers
>higher sortie rate than previous supercarriers
If you don't accept that QE is a supercarrier your ass mad.

In this thread, we discuss how absolutely retarded smart guns are.

hard to discuss something thats clearly, demonstrably, and objectively stupid and inherently fatally flawed
Please someone post the Facebook login gun while Tyrone robs copypasta
Great battery life on that safety watch. I sure hope I remember to always keep it charged.
I've got a chance to buy half a dozen of these for about 25% under standard retail, with a 500-round box of 22LR thrown in for free. Operating on the theory that they'll be good to throw in various bugout bags or handed off to allies in an emergency (actually, just operating on the theory that I'm a gun addict and buy new stuff constantly), I wondered if anyone had any experience with these and what you think - especially how good/bad the trigger may be (for what it is).
For what it's worth, I own some damn expensive guns and some dirt cheap ones. I love my Colt Python and my Hi-Point C9. MY Glock 30 and my Charter Arms Bulldog. I just like guns, the only "bad" ones I've had were generally a matter of the gun needing repair than some design flaw.
Anyway, the last micro-guns I got were a pair of Ruger LCP's that were literally the worst guns I've ever owned, identical crappy, crunchy, terrible triggers and general jam machines. Literally never got through one mag without a problem.
I know these are inexpensive guns, but how cheaply made are they? Hi-Point has always been great for me, so if the Phoenix 22 is in that boat (mock it for being cheap/ugly/unrefined/whatever, but it works) I'm okay with it. If it's just utter shit, I'd rather not waste my time.
>>34666837
its a high point with worse magazines
buyiing 1 or 2 for fuckaround cheap guns might be worth it. 6 is a hell no unless you really want to stash mostly reliable guns everywhere.
mostly reliable means ammo sensitive and maybe having to hit it a bit.
>>34666837
First, seek treatment if you have that many guns and still want to buy six identical shitty guns. But they work fine as long as you use high velocity ammo and break it in, their warranty is about as good as highpoint

>ring of fire guns
They're pretty bad. Sub-hipoint, in fact. Most work or can be simply made to work though. Generally though, the .22lr ring of fire guns have a poorer reputation than their .25s and .32s. The .380s suck as well.
Not sure about phoenix but variations on it's base design have been made by a handful of related companies.
I hear the original, the raven .25 is generally the best quality.
I'd honestly enjoy a ring of fire comparo series if for nothing other then technical curiosity
Let's hear em.
Cold Steel knives are perfectly fine.
Shotguns are completely obsolete for everything but doors and birds.
Hard armor outside of anything other than actual warfare is a liability more than it is a benefit.
Keeping your HD or CCW weapon with an empty chamber isn't a real issue.
The differences between any commonly compared firearms or calibers are always too negligible to matter.
There is no reason to buy milsurp over modern production guns other than collecting.
Slings get in the way more often than they're helpful.
Form is just as important as function.
A basic utility knife is far superior to any traditional or tacticool pocket knife nine times out of ten.
Everything made by Magpul is functional but low quality.
Full auto is far more useful than most firearm enthusiasts advocate mostly due to sour grapes.
a heavy but snappy trigger pull is more satisfying than a gay 2 oz trigger pull
We are the last generation to care a bout firearms and firearms ownership. After us, gun rights are dead.
CCW is a waste of time and 99% of the time you'd be better off handing over your wallet to a mugger or whatever.
If you were given a sword that allowed you to create anything you think of, but you must destroy something that fits in the same group.
(Example being
animal = living
chair = inanimate
etc.)
What will you create?
What will you destroy to create it?
Make -Flying battleship with unlimited fuel, ammo and provisions
Destroy - a chair
Do equivelent exchange alchemical rules apply or no?
i would create OP and destroy george takei
category: faggots
>>34666459
yes
Realistically speaking what's the correct way to store a fire arm in the fridge? Also what would you recommend? I was thinking of keeping a little 38 special behind my eggs but was wondering if storing a gun Cold for have any negative effects on it.
>>34666361
vacuum seal it, don't want your .38 freezer burned.
Sounds like a bad movie.
>okay mr robber let's have a one last cold one together, shall we *BAM*
>an ice cold one

And you all should know the /k/lassic film in the picture.
okay so any of you nigs familiar with the Geneva Conventions? if so, how many fuckin rules does this thing break nigga?
>>34666333
None.
1) the clusterbomb ban covers artillery, rocket, or air-dropped cluster bombs.
2) R6 Siege is about police, they're not covered by the Geneva Conventions. The GC also outlaw hollowpoints but your local PD will still shoot you with them.
Pretty sure Geneva conventions dont even regulate weapons.
>>34666333
International rles of war are specific to "WAR" the mentality is its OK to use chemical weapons to disperse crowds becasue its not "war" but you cant use chemical weapons on your enemies (like mustard gas), the same applies to other types of warfare
i had combat training but not any combat experience, Do you think i would be able to fetch a job in a shity PMC? Any experience or nolege about them?
>>34666288
maybe something in maritime security.
>>34666288
What MOS? How much time in service? How many deployments?
I haven't contracted since 2014, but in my experience having at least a deployment to a combat zone was nearly a requirement for any job over 6 figures.
You probably could have gotten a job as a supervisor babysitting third country security guards (ie kenyans) for someone like triple canopy, but TC doesn't exist anymore and I don't know the current security situation.
