What MOS? How much time in service? How many deployments?

I haven't contracted since 2014, but in my experience having at least a deployment to a combat zone was nearly a requirement for any job over 6 figures.

You probably could have gotten a job as a supervisor babysitting third country security guards (ie kenyans) for someone like triple canopy, but TC doesn't exist anymore and I don't know the current security situation.

Maybe as like a gate guard. The better paying jobs usually like you to have combat experience and belong to some slightly more advanced military group be it special forces, scout sniper, EOD. So on. So if you're just some supply grunt thats never seen combat don't expect anything glorious or fun. Expect to sit and scan ID's or maybe do some transport work if you're lucky. The money for you may only be like 60-70k a year which is shite compared to what a lotta guys make. I heard another anon reference maritime security, but most of those contract jobs are grabbed up by ex infantry guys or sometimes even more advanced people. Also 10/10 would recommend you visit some training center and get a certificate it will 100% benifit you. Good luck with your endevours anon.

Basically, no. It's supply and demand. The demand isn't nearly as high as it used to be...bad press from other contractors and operations winding down and all. Supply is high because of all the people ETSing from the surge. So you have people with 3-6 years of combat deployment under their belt.
