>>35046303
There arent too many, because if there was that would imply we get nice things, which we dont
>>35046303

>>35046547

Been playing with plastic... I hate plastic, but I'm intreauged by it.
The CA DOJ is making us take picures of our firearms to register them as AW's, so I'm making a special one for them that can haunt their dreams.

what's pros and cons of 5.7x28, 9mm, and .45 for a pistol user?
Is there a reason why there is only one pistol that uses 5.7?
>>35046256
Pros: fast
Cons: small
>>35046256
It's basically a proprietary cartridge for FN.
it has a love/hate pistol.
What does /k/ think of Caterpillar Drives?
>>35046162
A bad idea considering the magnetic anomaly they'd generate.
Legs > screws.
>>35046162
Caterpillars are underaged and should not be driving.
Where is the best place to buy a pasgt vest? I don't have any good surplus stores near me as I live in jew york city. so online is preferred.
Have you tried Ebay?
>>35046096
This ad infinitum.
Got an early Canadian PASGT for about 80 bucks shipped. Arrived to the east coast from California in less than 48 hours. The USPS can be an amazing thing when it wants to be.
>>35046096
yea, its hard to find anything in my size, im xl almost everything is medium
Is there a MBT that can withstand a Top-Attack ATGM?
>>35046088
Don't need to slap thick armor on the top of your tank to survive an ATGM if you can just take the missile out with countermeasures instead.
But your answer is no and will probably remain no.
>>35046208
Is there an APS that can counter Top-Attack ATGMs?
Should I become a fighter pilot? If so Navy or Air Force?
You don't just decide on day to "become" a fighter pilot, faggot. And obviously Navy, since you're a faggot.
Navy is typically harder due to carrier landings, really terrible selection process, and you wont get any of the new toys.
Air Force or Marines if you want new "fighter" jets.
>>35046071
I'm thinking of applying to a service academy or AFROTC or NROTC, dumbass. And I know the selection process.
Question, the other day I loaded grease between the wad and ball, I'm new to BP but it did seem accurate and easy to clean. Does anyone else do this, any reason not to?
http://www.geojohn.org/BlackPowder/bps3.html recommends it
>>35045713
>wad
>grease
>in the chambers
It's added expense for no benefit. I just carefully load powder and ball. Thousands of rounds with no chainfire.
>>35045751
Im not worried about chain fires, from my reading the grease helps clean and shoot for a prolonged time. How many rounds do you fire at a time, I'd love to cut down on materials
>>35045828
Usually about 54 shots from each gun I bring per range trip. The 1851 Navies I shoot usually only like to run this long before the arbor gunks up. I don't notice any change in accuracy with the fouling.

It is also costly to the military, said the report. Nearly one-quarter of military recruits are rejected because they are obese and it costs the Pentagon $1 billion a year in added health care costs for obese troops and their families.
More stunning, said the comprehensive 101-page report: " 70 percent of today's youth are not fit to serve in the military due to obesity or being overweight, criminal records, drug misuse or educational deficits."

Fine metal-engraving work of rifles and shotguns.
>>35045245
Yep, that's what that is.

Why are the leafs so anally protective when it comes to CADPAT?
>>35045114
All uniforms are property of the Crown, they are not privately owned, any unauthorized selling/possesion of them is theft from the government. Throw in some secret dye technology as well.
>>35045114
Because it's pretty good
>>35045130
>All uniforms are property of the Crown
Yeah, but why would they burn that shit? I don't see the U.K. doing that. Surplus=money, are they really that stupid?
>secret dye technology
Yeah because it's sooo hard to get your hands on one of these things to reverse engineer it....

As a former cav scout, whenever I see shit like this it makes me die inside a little.
My local gun superstore seems to have purchased a shitload of police trade in .40 cal Glocks.
They're running a sale where you get a Glock 22 Gen 3 with factory night sights, a box of hollow points, a pistol safe, a holster, a cleaning kit, and a 30 day range pass, all for $330 plus tax
Convince me not to buy a Glock in the worst caliber
Georgia bros be advised: it's Adventure Outdoors in Marietta. I didn't want to shill the place in the OP but this is pretty decent.
I'm pretty sure Atlanta PD unloaded their Glock .40s and these guys must really want to move them for a quick buck.
>>35044913
That's not terrible for a prollem solva. You'll just have to convince yourself to own
>.40
>>35044913
Do it. Run the math on the real cost difference between 9mm and .40, it's not that bad ($50@1,000rds) and .40 is a much better defensive round than 9mm.
