We bought a massive plastic welder which should work better in theory, but for most of this I've actually just used a good variable temp weller soldering iron (same one we use for stippling at the shop).

You have to create a porus bonding surface then melt the lower temp plastic into the glass filled nylon for it to really work.... and even then different types of thermoplast don't really bond to eachother well....

Doesn't work that way. Admission to practice in federal court is a bitch. All the California district courts require you to be admitted to the state bar in California. I haven't looked deeper into the requirements, but the federal venue where I reside has some other serious requirements.

Just to handle federal lawsuit clients, you need to have two members of the bar of that district court vouch for you and say they've known you for a year. And even then you can't be the lead attorney or sole attorney filing a lawsuit or conducting a trial. Only trial bar attorneys can do that.

To be on the trial bar you need to be on the general bar for that district, plus have done shit like participated in at least two or three full trials under the supervision of a member of the trial bar.

Eh. In theory it's to ensure someone can vouch for the lawyer as being reputable. In the old days it was literally that, you just had to find someone local to vouch for you. But, of course, then you get areas with no black or no women lawyers and no effective way for blacks or women to get admitted. So they have to make it more "objective".

Really all you've gotta do is find a California-based legal aid org that'll rep you. If you're in Northern Cali, Pacific Legal Foundation might be good. One of my friends from law school used to work for them. I don't know if they do Second Amendment stuff normally, but they have kicked some ass in the past.

Really all he needs to do is build an enclosure with the same general parameters as a fireplace and stick a blower in the top; doesn't even need to be high power. Then hook the blower to some dryer vent and send it out the window. If you decrease the height of the front opening relative to the size of the blower intake, it'll pull the fumes better.

It's not even that much work, could be done up mostly out of scrap.
