what's pros and cons of 5.7x28, 9mm, and .45 for a pistol user?
Is there a reason why there is only one pistol that uses 5.7?

Pros: fast
Cons: small

It's basically a proprietary cartridge for FN.
it has a love/hate pistol.

Pros: It's fast
Cons: It's tiny
Basically the answer to a question no one asked. FN decided to put it in a pistol to see if anyone would buy it because it had "FN" stamped on it. They did.

NATO specifically asked for it. The P90 and Five Seven would have been NATO standard weapons were it not for politics.

More important question: 7.62x25 has been around for about a century, why has nobody produced a modern double stack pistol using this cartridge? Why are nations and police forces getting fooled by FN's advertising when a slav copy of an ancient german cartridge already achieved perfection all those years ago?

technically the caliber 5.7x28 is nato standard but I believe more people use the MP7

You can get Chinese clones of Sig P226s chambered in 7.62x25 in Canada

Chinese still use it.
But the reality is that tok food is kind of in-between PDW ammo and "typical" pistol ammo. Had Warsaw Pact still existed and decided that they need PDW they'd probably use it but as it is now nobody cares about it.

That sounds cool as hell.

>5.7 commercial ammo doesn't take advantage of round capability.
>waffles are jews

7.62 tok has none existing round selection.

>5.7x28
Availability, most gun stores don't stock it. And the one that does is out of the way.

if you're buying ammo in stores, you're fucking up.
