What's /k/'s thoughts on bullpups and this gun?

I handled both that and the regular version of it at NRA show. I kept hitting the mag release by accident on the regular version. No thx. The one you posted is actually not as uncomforatble as it looks. But I live in a free state. So, no thx.
AUG is best and only bullpup
Lame. I think one day they will be done right, when someone combines a decent trigger with forward/downward ejection with sensible control placement. However, contrary to what might be said by blind fanboys trying to justify their purchases; and hipsters with an ingrained love of anything unconventional and not-AR, it hasn't been done yet. Honestly, if the X95 had been forward ejecting, I think it would have come pretty close.
Hurricane Irma is a ways off yet, but is looking to be another strong storm that could batter the entire eastern seaboard. If your live near the Atlantic get your bug out bags updated and ready to go.
Therefore bug out bag thread.

In less than 30 years, China has gone from river gunboats to world class surface combatants and with it's newest destroyer, the Renhai Class, it has finally eclipsed the US Navy.
From the 112 large diameter VLS cells to the VLO shaping of the hull to the state of the art multi function dual band radar system (the only destroyer in the world to mount one), the PLAN has brought out a ship that can not only contend with Western adversaries but beat them.

They should just buy Russian.

Also, a single ship doesnt beat anything, its allways a mix of numbers, quality, doctrine and crew training.
>This girl enters your gun store with her motorcycle and parks it next to the counter
>She smells like leather, motor oil, and sweat and looks like she's been riding for awhile.
>She said she is about to visit some rough country called Detroit where the locals are known to commit random acts of violence.
>She's staying there for three days
>She's looking to update her everyday carry to maybe give her a better chance at surviving
>She already owns a large bore black powder revolver which she open carries and an old rimfire pistol for hunting small game
What do you recommend to her?
I tell her to get out, and that she is banned from the store until she learns some proper manners
I recommend she get the fuck out of my store with her oil dripping fuck machine ruining my carpet.
Or
Pop her, take her stuff, cook and eat her and sell the bike.

For those of you who don't know, Walther is offering a $100 mail-in rebate for several of their handguns as long as you purchase them before September 15. I'm seriously considering picking up a PPQ M1 since you can find them online for about $480. How do they compare to other polymer-framed striker-fired handguns? I don't own any, so I have nothing to compare it by, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.
There are a few other rebates going on right now (HK and Springfield are offering free magazines with proof of purchase or something), but I think Walther's is the best.
>>35037342
Do it! The PPQ looks ugly as sin, but is an excellent gun.
>>35037342
Solid trigger pull out of the factory, I think it is a good gun. Smallish, Lightish and I like the Euro mag release but that might just be me.

No other country is even approaching a production model, they're all stuck in prototype hell while America already has TWO proven operational 5th gen stealth fighters in full-scale production.

1. We haven't had a Air-to-Air or even major Air-to-ground jet fight in a long fucking time.
2. US has more money and tech than any other countries.
3. Certain parts of the US Military need an excuse as to why they are still receiving funding. If they break even, they are at high risk of not being able to receive more or even get reduced funding.
Well there are less then 20 but still it is just a start.
Also, you'll see them in a new film.

Do any of you preppers plan on using your phone in a SHTF scenario where all Internet goes down? With solar chargers and power banks, your phone could still be a useful tool.
I keep a moderately recent (early 2016) copy of Wikipedia and Wikitravels downloaded on my phone (With the Aard 2 viewer) offline maps of the U.S. and Canada (OsmAnd) a morse code translator, and a bunch of survival/emergency medical books as pdfs. I also keep backup APKs of all of the apps that I use on my SD card, in case my phone is damaged, and I need to switch to a different one.
What do you guys keep on your phones?
So far just the FEMA app, I had no idea the rest of these were even a thing. Quick question though, how many rechargers do you keep in your gear?

Now you all probably heard about the .308 SLAP, but they aren't very popular. So why not take an actual effective round that is quite popular (Raufoss) and downsize it? Hell, with improving precision in technology, would could have a factory stamp these out good.
Thoughts? Is alright or just a stupid wet dream?
Video and wiki reference for those who don't know about either SLAP or Raufoss

>>35036921
>>35036921
SLAP tend to have a higher velocity than the standard penetrators, but they ice pick to soft targets. The current penetrators still punch holes in armor fairly well, so there isn't much reason for SLAP anymore. Also kind of the reason why the Raufoss is much more popular than the SLAP rounds.

Got a Butler Creek side folding stock for my H&R PPP. Can't decide if I like the way it looks or not. Quality isn't fantastic but it feels sturdy enough. No gaps where it mates with the receiver but the is a bit proud of the right side while the left is flush.
Couple of questions:
1) the stock doesn't line up perfectly with the centerline, its left of it. Think it will change the recoil noticeably?
2) I kinda want to get a smaller foregrip for aesthetics, what do you all recommend?

Now that Harvey's gone, it seems many in Texas may go without gas. How do you plan to defend your precious guzzoline from bands of marauders, /k/omrades?
Defend gasoline with tight ass
>>35036361
>raiders come to take guzzoline
>offer token resistance, showing off your shapely rear
>they easily over power you
>"oh no, big strong marauders don't do anything meeeean to me..."
>they rape your tight boipucci
>little do they know, it's not rape if you ahegao
>too busy posting "traps aren't gay" on vietnamese silk screen printing forums afterwards to take the gas
>win win
First of all, you are an idiot. There is no gas shortage. Production is a bit decreased which means more gas has to be trucked in, still at the same regularly scheduled intervals, so the price at the pump will go up a few cents per gallon.
Second, we don't have bands of marauder. We have a few isolated looters and scammets. The new Texas get looted or scammed. The native Texas just shoot them and let the Coast Guard deal with the floating body.
