Alright, /g/. I need help.

>inb4 gentoo

My system won't install anything via terminal.

I try the following command:

sudo apt-get install <plugin>/code]

but always end up with the error

E: Unable to locate package <plugin>

I've tried googling it, and every suggestion i've seen won't work.

Any advice?

>and yes, i'm new to kali

Well the <plugin> obviously doesn't exist in the kali repository.
>>
What are you trying to install?

redpill me /g/
downgraded to win 7 from arch, now regretting this badly and wanna try ubuntu which is like arch with training wheels.

one of the major attractive benefits of leenucks is muh freedoms. what's the version of ubuntu with least amount of telemetry. I heard some of them collect data for AWS.

>>58810876
The amazon integration is turned off by default in current ubuntu releases.
It can be enabled of course, and is only available on the unity desktop environment.
>>
>>58811114
Not true, anon. Ubuntu 16 was found to send input data to Ubuntu servers for 'autocorrect improvements'.
>>
>>58810876
You can try Debian, Linux Mint, Xubuntu or ElementaryOS. They are all the same minus the Amazon crap.

Feels like it's been forever since the app updated. And it still can't download the data for Captcha.

What kind of options are there for cheap ultraportable (~13") laptops with good battery life?

I just want something to throw Debian onto for when I'm on the go. I have an old 15" laptop, but it's heavy and the first generation switchable graphics it has doesn't play nice with Linux.

I was looking at Dell offerings, since I can get a decent discount through my job, but seriously at $400 I'm close to just buying a used Macbook Air and replacing the battery. I had a 2013 Air for my old job and they were quite nice to throw in my bag so I could read papers when I was out of the lab.

Any suggestions? I've been looking for a few hours and while it's easy to find new $200 laptops and such, they seem to have the crappy "standard" 3-hour battery life. I was looking for something in the 6-10 hour range.

/g/ is there such a thing as a gsm base station? 'Base station' using the traditional definition. Like a HAM/CB base station. I don't want something that mimics a tower. I just want something that can be hooked to remote antennas on a 50 ft tower to get signal.
12 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>58810454
Sure. GSM is the old,old standard. There have been basestations set up at Burning Man.

>>58811957
If GSM is old what about 3G UMTS/W-CDMA or LTE? I'd like something compatible with AT&T.

>>58810267
They better not. Ryzen can't even catch up to Broadwell-E in IPC and to Kaby and Skylake in clock speeds. Really every AMD retard on this board right now simply assumes things and implies that you would be able to buy a 6c/12t Ryzen for less than consumerist i7.

Will Ryzen's 4c/8t CPU be faster than Skylake and Kaby Lake? Fuck no. Will it be cheaper by $50 while being only few % slower? It could, but it pisses me off that this whole shitposting war is going on while we have no idea about actual prices. The fact that x370 motherboards supposedly cost $200+ doesn't help this budget image that poorfags of this board have when they mention AMD.
