redpill me /g/
downgraded to win 7 from arch, now regretting this badly and wanna try ubuntu which is like arch with training wheels.
one of the major attractive benefits of leenucks is muh freedoms. what's the version of ubuntu with least amount of telemetry. I heard some of them collect data for AWS.

The amazon integration is turned off by default in current ubuntu releases.
It can be enabled of course, and is only available on the unity desktop environment.

Not true, anon. Ubuntu 16 was found to send input data to Ubuntu servers for 'autocorrect improvements'.

You can try Debian, Linux Mint, Xubuntu or ElementaryOS. They are all the same minus the Amazon crap.
You might also look into 9front and Redox OS.

And minus Unity, which is the only good Linux DE.

none it was amazon unity lens integration. It is now disabled by default. No other version of Ubuntu have the amazon lens integration.

Maybe if you stopped watching cheese pizza on tor you wouldn't have to give a shit about telemetry. What are you so ashamed of anon?

Have you tried just putting NetWorx on your ubuntu machine with any distro? Or if windows, Glasswire? If you want your freedoms so bad, just use a proxy or monitor the machine.
