Explain why you prefer a software over its open/closed source alternative.
>Krita > Photoshop
I hate the adobe's botnet and related bugs.
>Affinity Designer > Inkscape
Inkscape is just a piece of shit and it's impossible to work without headaches.

>need to memorize a 200 page manual to use a video player

You lie ...
However the mpv manual is more structured than the messy madvr forum.

>QGIS > ArcMap
QGIS handled transformation automatically whereas ArcMap couldn't choose the right transformation algo by itself.

Uhhhh it's pretty easy to rip from Git and store alongside your install for the one single time you might ever need it.

madVR has a GUI. Instead of being faced with a blank configuration file and needing to read through a 200 page manual to find the syntax to do anything, you just click the appropriate button.

And it needs a network interface!
Enjoy you deprecated directshow botnet.

The sole reason is price, I don't want to pay thousands for Adobe or w/e it costs because I'm not a professional Graphics dood so I'd rather just use a free alternative.
Anybody worried about 'botnet' all of these proprietary programs including Microsoft itself are reverse engineered on a regular basis by half the world every single day. If some shit shows up that's phoning home or collecting data it will be noticed and reported and always has in the past.
Your first day as a jr consultant at a place such as Crowdstrike, NCC Group or whatever accuvant is called these days will introduce you to said reversing and everybody will laugh at you if you make claims like 'can't verify the code is safe'.

I am.
Enjoy your missing chapter names, lack of linked mkv support, and need to memorize retarded keybinds.
>>58810836
Kind of gay to use security as only metric. There's no exploits in my left shoe either.

>lack of linked mkv support
Is this guy serious?
