So what's actually the benefit of the glass? It's more slippery, it looks like shit with how much it collects fingerprints, what is the point. I don't know, I guess I just in general feel like it's really silly how they try to make these phones look expensive or whatever. They're toys, and the price difference between the most expensive ones and mid tier ones is a couple hundred dollars at most. That's pocket change, yet they try to go full Arab money, glass and gold everything with the designs, at the expense of functionality. Something simple like a single good lens for a camera costs way more
I don't remember what phone did it first but when I first saw one of those phones with a metal case and some kind of stripes at the top and bottom, I thought it's just a design thing. Then later I learn they had to have rubber stripes there so the phone can actually get a signal through the case. What the hell. This is getting really silly
