Are we getting close to the point where SoCs can replace CPUs? The 835 can emulate Dolphin perfectly.

Intel SoCs replacing ARM CPUs? What do you mean?
>>
No it can't. It can play certain games that don't do too many GPU transfers playably if you underclock Dolphin's CPU. Even an i7 can't play every game perfectly (though those games are because of PCIE bandwidth)

Alright /g/, I'm switching my iPhone 5's battery, and I just noticed it came with a tiny dent, I already tested it and it just works.

Do you think it's dangerous? I don't want it to explode on me.

So, starting a new software project in Unity, first time working with GIT, project is not open source.

Other developer (just two of us, for now) wants to use GIT for source control if possible.

Paid options are possible but low budget is preferred.

What repository do you guys recommend and why?

Here are the names I've wrangled up and am currently comparing pros and cons before I pick one.

>Bitbucket
>GitLab

Comparisons aren't going to tell me how they worked out for actual people. That just lets me compare pricing and specs. I'm looking for anecdotes about what it was like using these services from other people.

Can someone clear up a few assumptions and questions I have about audio?

I want a pair of good wireless headphones, from what I understand, a pair of 7.1 surround headphones with multiple analog cables going to a transmitter would be best solution, correct?

Seeing as how that doesn't seem to be a product and would only be for the most hardcore audiophiles, a more simple pair of analog stereo would still do a pretty decent job?

I am looking at getting the SteelSeries Siberia 800.

I have a decent sound card, this mean I pretty much want to stick with the analog signal as using usb or optical pretty much means bypassing the sound card correct?

If I come across a game that supports Dolby surround, would it be worth giving up the analog for optical in that case?

Thanks.

What's the best way to get good internet in an outhouse at the end of the garden? It's about 30-40m away from the house, and the router's in the living room from where you have to go through a conservatory to get to the garden. Is it possible to get decent latency using only wireless boosters, or would I need to pass a cable? I'm not a CS:GO world champion but I'd still like decent ping when sperging out in like rocket league or something (speaking of rocket league, it starts rubberbanding unbearably above 100ms ping, so I'd like to avoid that).

If I do have to pass a cable, would it have to be connected to the router's ethernet port or is it possible to just extend the house's broadband/phone line, hook up another microfilter and maybe some other sort of networking doohickey and get it to connect to the same LAN?

Pic unrelated, for clickbait

waddup doggo

the best solution for your problem is a powerline network adapter. Look it up.
>>
>>61143630
This won't work if it isn't on the same power as the house

I'm confused, is the outhouse connected to the house? Why are you playing csgo in an outhouse?
>>
>>61143826
It will also have shit ping and bandwidth.

What do you guys think I can realistically get for my 980ti gigabyte windforce on eBay? Few listings I see now for it range from 370-420, I would like to get around that range but what do you guys think it's worth? Going to upgrade to a 1070 or 1080 if I can scrounge up the extra dough.

>>61143405
Not worth it unless you sell it for 450 and get a 1080 for 500
>>
>>61143627
I can get a 1080 for $530 I see now, if I can get at least $380-400 for the card then I can afford the 1080.

His last cringe video was getting almost a third dislikes, which is pretty fucking awful. Hopefully he takes note.

If you're reading this, Linus or employee, here's my advice:

Let Luke make actual tech tips videos, parts reviews, benchmarking, overclocking guides, basically half the channel should be Luke's Workshop

Drop your cringe videos entirely, and stop "only pretending to be retarded" every time you make a cheap build video
