nuclear is the future. small reactors can be produced, they are much more manageable and safer. even old big nuclear power plants caused less deaths and illnesses than coal

Just bought a new 750 evo 120gb for 80 bucks. Was it a good price or did i get ripped off?
ABSOLUTELY RIPPED OFF
not only is it outdated but it also only has 120gb of storage, you can get a new 850evo 120gb for like $60 and a sandisk 120gb SSD for $50
>>61142140
he prolly thought it was an intel 750
>>61142140
Ripped off. For $20 more you can get an 850 EVO 250GB

Aren't there MRP/MSRP's? How can they jack up the price for it so much?
What's the most powerful GPU that can work on a Q9550 without the CPU bottlenecking it? Or how about an E6600?
That was a fun thread, but I didn't get a clear answer or a intelli/g/ent nerd to teach me about bottlenecking problems when it comes to CPU vs GPU.
>>61128822
>>61142039
Depends on the workload. It might not bottleneck even the strongest GPU in some workloads, while in others even some of the weakest GPUs will be held back by it.
Let's start something more interesting.

Two years later, I thought that this guy was dead, but he showed up on Github just to close an issue calling him out on his scam - https://github.com/chrisaljoudi/uBlock/issues/1689
Why is this allowed? He still asks as much as $499 (see the donate page on ublock.org) from naive people who think that they're helping uBlock Origin.
should I remove ublock?

Can the GPU of laptops be changed (replaced)? I've heard it can't, but I don't understand why that would be the case, when laptops are basically same as desktop computers, except they also have a battery. My laptop GPU has died, so I want to replace it if it's possible and if a new GPU is not very expensive. I want a standard cheap one, so I can work normally on the laptop, I don't need one for gaming. What are the prizes?
Laptop gpus are soldered on the board (pictured on the left) they cannot be removed without damaging the board. desktop gpus are plugged in not soldered now get the fuck off this board back to V
Depends on whether the laptop has an MXM or a soldered GPU.
>>61141538
Short answer: no
Longer answer: It can be done but it's not worth fucking around with sourcing a compatible GPU and unless you have expert level soldering skills you WILL kill the mobo.
Just get a laptop with thunderbolt 3 and a eGPU case

I prefer ordering by machine.
Some fast-food resturants here have it and its great. Order and pay with a machine, you get a ticket, pickup the food when done.

The insane amount of never ending updates, I updated Google maps twice already this week, and sure enough a new one dropped yesterday.
Meanwhile the podcast app I use has had maybe 3 updates in the past 4 years I've used it.
Okay, I am done with new eggs... I bought 3 gtx 1070s to set up my first mining rig. Getting into zcash before it blows ups.
they cancelled the order without even telling me. limit 1 per customer and it resets every 48 hours.
What is the best newegg alternative?

What's the best way to test websites on mobile devices?
I've typically done the old fashion method of resizing the browser, but that's not reliable anymore in 2017.
Then I started to use Chrome's emulated devices in the dev tools, but that's not reliable either.
I've been looking at paid services like Browserstack or CrossBrowserTesting. Does anyone have experience with these or could recommend a way to reliably test on mobile?
Thanks!

Install most common browsers on it and test.

Got this code :
let abs x =
if x<0 then begin let y=x*(-1);print_int y;end;
else print_int x;;
It gives me syntax error on the "end", what am I doing wrong ?
Stop using begin and end. IIRC parentheses work too.
>>61140968
I am very new in coding, what are thoses parentheses ?
Btw I would appreciate to have a mentor, who will be able to tell me where the error is, so I dont have ton ask on a forum each time
>>61140871
been a while if I've programmed in caml, but you probably want to do something like thislet abs x =
let y = if x < 0 then -x else x in
print_int y
or even thislet abs x =
print_int (if x < 0 then -x else x)
