Learn some real language first. Then u can use python if u want for scripting.

For me it didn't accomplish at all what I wanted to do. It is GREAT if it's just going to be a tool and you don't want to learn the inner workings of programming. It isn't so great if you want to really immerse yourself into the world of programming. It abstracts a lot of important details for ease of use.
That being said, it has its place. Just think of what your goal(s) is and see if this will get you there.

It's "weakly typed", so you can put anything into any variable. This means that the text editor can't tell what's in a variable, and it won't give you any hints about how to use your libraries or tell you that your code is invalid. The Python syntax looks easy but it requires the programmer to know more about the libraries and codebase in advance.
