What advice for a noob Ectomorph do you guys? I'm 6'3, 130 lbs and know practically nothing about working out but I have nothing better to do with my time since I've quit vidya and the only other thing I do is play guitar. I figure I can spend this time to get fit.

Who here is balding or thinning? How much scalp must show before it's done? I feel like my hair has thinned and I'm 22. I have very thin hairs, though, and I look like a baby with my hair short because it just sticks straight out and looks downy.

Hey fellow fitbros,

I fit a lot of the symptoms for someone with high cortisol. Red, slightly swollen face, low libido, trouble sleeping, cravings, etc.

What do you guys recommend I do? I take Zinc and Magnesium, workout 4 times a week at least, eat pretty healthy... But I want to have normal cortisol. Anyone have any advice or is dealing with a similar situation?

Both olympic weightlifting and powerlifting are a sport who can put up the highest numbers.

Both sports benefit from maximal use of one's weight and leverage.

Yet how come so many olympic weightlifter are ripped and musclegods while powerlifters are tubby lardbetas?

What's best for bulking for muscle mass? 5x5 routine or 8-12? Just want to get bigger overall and increase my muscle mass. I don't care about fat, because I don't gain fat easily anyways.

Too embarrassed to go back to my BJJ gym after being knocked out by a kid.

So I've been doing BJJ for about 6 months now and am alright at it, nothing special. Last week this 11 year old kid had his first lesson at our gym and I was asked to spar with him at the end of the teaching (we usually have about 15 minutes to spar after every lesson).

So we spar and nobody has tapped either person out, I'm going pretty easy on the kid because he looks like he's probably 70 lbs or some shit. Some how though, he manages to floor me, pass my guard and get me in a full mount. But it's a weird full mount, he's sitting on my shoulders and my hands at the same time because I was trying to push upwards off the floor with my hands and they were near my shoulders when he pinned me.

So he starts strangling me, 2 hands around my neck and I can't tap out with my hands. I can't verbally say it either because he's doing it pretty hard and he doesn't notice me tapping out with my feet. Anyway, I pass out which would be fine and not too embarrassing in most circumstances. But I literally shit myself and it's noticeable from everyone.

How bad is this? Should I go back to the gym? I want to take it in my stride but the kid was 11 fucking years old on his first lesson. Should I move to another gym and waste all my progress?

Has anyone said anything about it to you? If people are ribbing you for it you're probably fine just make sure it doesn't happen again. If people don't say anything it's probably because they think you're pathetic and pity you and you should probably think about moving gym.

It sounds like a very weird situation desu even after reading it again I'm not sure how that would happen.
