I am in a similar situation but I haven't made it yet. The problem is that my gf has a relatively low libido, and mine is starting to get higher and higher as I lift.
I talked to her about it, she understands but says she can't really help in that department. I'm close to breaking up after a 4 year relationship, with other problems piling up as well.
Playing by the book is probably the way to go though. If she can't and/or won't satisfy you in a certain way, there is really not much to do, and there is no reason to hurt her for that.

What's the best diet for losing weight? I did keto for a couple months and it seemed like it worked really well, trying intermittent fasting (eat only between 12-8) now, haven't been doing it long enough to do a comparison though.
Also counting calories and doing an 800-1k a day deficit, along with 30 mins on an elliptical every day and weight lifting twice a week.

It's a grade 3 concussion m8. Brain smacked against my skull hard enough to make me lose consciousness AND memory. It's not a good idea to lift and get blood RUSHING to my brain if there's something lose or broken in there that simply wasn't detected.
I did all the research I could and it's the same for the most part. I'm supposed to just rest but for how long? Depending on the injury it could be from a week to a month. That is fucking killing me, I can't imagine sitting here and gaining back fat and potentially losing muscle.
I know ultimately I just have to follow the doctors advice but If anyone else has had a similar or worse experience I want to know how long they waited until they started lifting again, how they felt when they did. And what they did while resting to maintain their shape (if they could even do that).
